Physical Description: Height: 5'6"
Complexion: Pale white
Hair: Usually down, loosely pulled up, or pulled back with bangs. Three small braids on either side, behind the ears. Color: Ice blue/black/white
Build: Medium-Small
Personality: Stubborn but caring. Will fight for a small cause, as long as she believes it's worth it. Sometimes fights simply because she feels like it.
History: Vexxus' mother and father were killed in battle. Her brother, Keijam, took her and ran away from Khailetor during the War of Ages. Many Shektra were killed during the war, and Keijam knew that staying would only put them in further danger. Wandering the ancient wastelands of Khaimaz, Keijam and Vexxus came upon a teacher. His name was Raithaas. Raithaas was a Taimm (Description: Taimms are overseers of the land. A very etherial race, based in the element of shadow. They are powerful warriors but rarely get involved in battle. Home: The Land of Saiya) Being one of the few Taimms that didn't want to offer council for a living, he went to study the wastelands; the ancient adjoining place of the many races. Raithaas educated Kaijam and Vexxus, offering each one instruction on forging their own runeblades using only the shadows of the old relics of Khaimaz.
When Vexxus was in her late teens, well-educated in the ways of the Taimm, a pact of demons forged and led by the hand of a former member of the Shektra came and ravaged the home. Vexxus was away gathering water, and only saw the final acts of the pact; killing her brother and teacher. Regretting not killing them on sight; Vexxus set out to find the pact and vanquish it.
Wandering once again through the wastelands, Vexxus gathered the nomads and found the pact. After defeating it, Vexxus disappeared. She had had enough of this world, and set out to live a life of anonymity....at least that was her plan.
**Post-start RP development to character background (Recommended reading for those RP-ing with Vexxus)**
After meeting a strange character named Deraj, Vexxus had finally found a companion worth her time; one that would not die. Vexxus was given his phylactery, which is a pendant set with a smoky amethyst. (This phylactery holds Deraj's "soul", so to speak.) After several trials, Deraj came upon the knowledge to make him eternally youthful. He could currently live forever, but still appeared (and smelled) like he was dead and decaying. Through a series of events, Deraj went alone on his quest for the youth-producing emblem, and, being heartbroken, Vexxus allowed herself to be taken captive by an order of knights that believed they were part of a prophecy to do so. After several months with them, she escaped, and went back to Tamasha Village, where she got back her will to fight; then acted as a sword-for-hire slaying demons and the like.
*After that, she went on yet another adventure with Deraj, miraculously meeting the man who had lost his memory, and then through a series of exciting events, eventually lost her memory due to something inexplicable. She again is a sword-for-hire in Tamasha Village waiting for the next adventure to sweep her into the world beyond. *
Addition: Shadow Form/Shadow Druid "In her shadow form, Vexxus was a sight anyone would be enchanted, and at the same time haunted, by. A form of blackness with trailing silver shadows wisping about where her hair usually was; and her eyes blazed a metallic grey. At present, she wasn't visible to any beings; simply retreating to study and ponder upon them as she often did in the previous places she stopped."
She can also defeat and inhabit other beings, creating another shadow form for herself that she can transform into. This, however, takes more energy when she uses other forms; and if she spends too much time in the shadow realm, it takes a lot of energy out of her when she returns to the real world.
