"Once a in the books always a ."
Nadja softly muttered to herself once she noticed Samonuske hadn't followed her. Grumbling softly under her breath. The fairies had told that the Crown was still with the fallen that he had even taken it with him during his "dethrone". Clearly that wasn't the case. This realization however plague Nadja's mind. Clearly what she had been given to protect needed gone over again. Updated so to speak.
Nodding to herself Nadja fluidly slipped in and out of the alley ways as if she never touched the ground. It wasn't till she was nearly half way to her destination did she hear the blood curdling screams. Quickly followed by the warning bells. Pausing in the middle of the dark alley she smirked wickedly. Phook was doing his side of the job. Course she never had to worry about him he always had her back.
But that was her own warning...she had to get moving. Picking up the middle of her dress Nadja took off into a run. The goal was the massive building planted towards the back of the establishment of the village. It held weapons but most importantly it held the unmentionables. Artifacts and literature not meant to be seen by human eyes. Yet as always that greedy breed still sought out these objects. This they couldn't even control.
Pressing against a corner she exhaled softly allowing her threads to feel around for the aura's of what was left of the guards. Two. That was to be expected. Looking back up the window Phook had pointed out Nadja tried to count out how many steps it was to that part of the building. This was honestly the easy part of it all. Grinning to herself Nadja stepped out from behind the corner her threads of energy wrapping unknowingly around her targets.
Instantly taking control of their emotions and their presumption of what was right before them. In their minds it was like any other night on guard. The warning bell had never happened and they were to keep their eyes open for a dark red head who would be coming on orders of the Lord. The red head was unquestionable Nadja. So it wasn't surprising when they unlocked the large wooden door that held her back.
Nodding pleasantly Nadja slipped past the door closing it as quickly as she could. Locking it from the inside now. Still standing in the door way she closed her eyes pressing her hands hard into the wood that rested on either side. Nadja need to feel for others who may have stayed behind. It was giggly feeling that washed over her when she didn't feel anyone else. All the simple road blocks were out of the way.
Now for the book.
Dashing up what seemed to be thousand of steps Nadja finally slammed to a halt before on smaller door compared to the others. This one was bordered shut with what ever they could find. It brought a frown to her lips. This was the door. Resting her forehead against the door she froze in that spot. The magical energy was enough to bring even a god the chills. It was wild and wreck-loose completely out of control. "Oh you donkey's..."softly Nadja cursed. Someone had messed with the magic that kept the book secret.
Picking up her hand she ran it over the door way as she had before. Snickering at the make sift seal that kept the door barred from the world. This was far worse then she had imagined. Shaking her head she was beginning to feel like that she was doing that a lot lately. Nadja could only wish the others were having better luck then her. Course with the guards occupied with Phook it would be easier for them. Now what sat before her that was a different story.
Pulling out a small piece of rock Nadja dropped to her knees before the door. Normally things like this came so naturally for her that it was hard not to notice her shaking hand. What bothered her was it was the energy behind the door doing it. This was either going to go really well or horrible bad. Her voice inside her head was screaming bad. But The Book had to come with her one way or another.
Lowering her head Nadja slowly began to rock on her hunches her hand moving as if in control of another. Wildly scratching in symbols and shapes of a language long since died. Just as her lips parted to speak the words of the En Puwe when the door buckled and split open to revel the care takers of the great book. The hau ku tuulmahl elidet a bird man like demon that was created when black magic and white magic is combined.
Three of them plowed through the door. Whatever had been done to the spell that protected the book had forced these creatures out. With nothing but blood on their minds. "Oh bloody hell...." Nadja snarled ripping off her gloves with such force they ripped. Narrowing her eyes she focused her energy into the palm of her hand. "kana ye uim kajk" the spell twisted the energy into a ball of what looked like a swirling pool of gems. In a way that's what they were small razor sharp diamonds that could cut through just about anything.
The key to these beast was to get them down and keep them down. Growling softly past her lips Nadja tried to keep her anger in check for control. Whipping the ball into the first one in one motion sprinting forward Nadja made a move for the hau ku tuulmahl elidet behind the first. Grabbing a hold of it's chest with the palm of her hand. The moment there was skin t skin contact Nadja face drained of all color leaving her stone cold as her hand seemed to burn into the beast chest. However it was not before the first one retaliated for her first move. Sending Nadja crashing into the direction on the far wall.
All while this was going down the third one picked up the smells that lingered on Nadja. Acting much as a threatened predator would do. Picking out any other threats. Course the trio would be the freshest so with out even a glance at the other two it took off to find the others. Just in case they sought the book as well.
((What the hau ku tuulmahl elidet look like.))
These beasts are strong. They weld the power of the earth and more importantly the sand which they use in a number of ways to take down their opponents. Never let them bit you it's like acid eating at the flesh that will spread till there is nothing left. Keep in mind one they are demons but they are neither alive or dead. Which is one reason why they are hard to take down.
((Not my best writing...sorry guys))
