Echo pressed her hand against her forehead and wiped away the sweat. She gasped in another breath as she walked, her cloak flying behind her in the slight breeze. She had been walking through this forest for hours.

She cursed. "Those idiots, how could they escape from me?" she growled in a fierce temper. She quickly tried to quell the flame within her to no avail and started to walk faster out of pure adrenaline.

She continued to rant to no one as she walked, cursing over and over about the people she was tracking. As she walked past weak branches broke against her body and tall grass bended as she walked. In the end though she was no closer to finding a way out of the forest than she was before.

"Maybe I should just burn it down." she contemplated, holding up a hand filled with flame.

I can't... Sighing she let the flame die. " I can't use my powers for trivial things."

She continued to walk through the forest, even as her stomach rumbled and growled.

She clenched her teeth together and steadied her blue eyes, determined. But even she knew her sixteen year old lanky figure wouldn't last for long. Sure she was dressed like a boy but she failed to have the male stamina.

She started to pant and leaned against a tree, ready to collapse. She was weak and . She had no time to waste in this forest.

She needed to escape and soon, somehow.

[Kotori]

kotori wached the girl wander in a circle once or twice before she intervened she quietly landed on a branch of the tree she was leaning against and said"lost?"

Khaz walks along a piece of cloth draped over his head and horns his armor glistening whenever the light shone through the trees upon it. His breathing hard and his weapons clinking against his armor he stops and leans "Goodness this place is hot. my horns are . I hope Aldis doesn't punish me for stopping but i must find water soon"

He looks around searching for some sign of life other then the whispering wind in the tree tops.

[Ragnus]

Heh heh heh heh heh. How interesting. This girl has some unique talents. Perhaps she can be useful to me. The dark figure skulked amongst the trees in the forest, keeping well out of sight, but close enough to keep an eye on his prey. Shadows flowed around him like a cloak, masking his presence from both sight and scent. And so the game begins...

As soon as Echo saw the girl, she blinked and straightened herself up. She grinned weakly and nodded. "Yeah I'm afraid I am lost. Do you know the shortest way out by chance? I am looking for someone and I lost track of them. I really need to hurry after them."

[dandanscan]

Khaz kneels and begins to pray to his god for a trail or some water. "Aldis please i lay my self down in front of you the way i have done many times. Please point me towards water my fur is soaked and my armor is burning hot" Khaz awaited an answer knowing that Aldis would not just up and abandon him. He waited for a few moments then his body complied him to move forward. He stopped at the clearing and saw the two people. figuring its better to watch then to interrupt he leaned against the tree and watched

[Ragnus]

A and now this person too? How intriguing. Vor'lekar watched with increasing interest, before sensing a power he did not like the feel of. What is that... Looking over through the trees he saw a heavily armored figure looking on at the pair. Hmmm...he could be trouble. Best see what can be done about gaining their trust quick. Vor'lekar released his shadow cloak revealing the lightly armored body of a lithe elven warrior. His brown hair was a perfect match for his eyes, and his twin blades gleamed readily at his sides. In life, this elf had been one of the prime warriors his age had seen, but no more. Now he was merely another set of trappings for Vor'lekar. Walking slowly up to the two strange individuals, he raised his hand. "What's this? A child and a...thing alone in the forest? Certainly you two are lost. Have you lost something?"

[Kotori]

the minute the elf unclocked himself kotori stiffened and glanced down to the girl she put a finger up to her lips and whispered "quiet we are not alone" and she scaned the clearing for whatever had alarmed her

Echo looked to the girl, curious at what she was saying, then heard the voice from the trees behind her. She turned and frowned, defenses up rapidly.

When the two figures from the trees revealed themselves, she took a step back. The elf and strange creature before her were the likes she had never seen before. But she also got a bad feeling from the elf almost instantly. He felt..wrong. Plus, what he said before finally registered in her mind.

So... I'm a child huh? If its one thing I can't stand, its being treated like a kid!!!

"Who are you? What do you want?" She asked, holding herself up straight, ready to call upon her powers if need be.

"And I may be young, but I am far from being a innocent child you think I am."

[Kotori]

kotori looked at the elf and said crossly"hey im not a thing"

[Ragnus]

The elf laughed, amused at them. "Well, I've stumbled across two very cross creatures, now haven't I? Well, if you are not a child, then act more mature when someone offers you help. And if you are not a thing, then tell me what you are. My name is Xelototh. What may I call you?"

[dandanscan]

seeing the third figure he decides to through his hands into this. he calmly walks into the clearing and stands beside the young girl
"Age is only a determent if you allow it to be little miss"
He pulls the cloth from his face his horn turning and running along the back of his head his fur is brown and his eyes deep brown. he stands a good 6'5 and his body covered with plate from neck to toe. on his back he has a large shield and on his hips he has a assortment of weapons. all over his shield and his armor is the symbol of his god a garden hoe with a set of horns on it.
"You can call me Khaz es Mordus guardian of the young innocent" he smiles with his cow like face and looks to young girl and whispers
"trust me innocent is a loose term these sad days"

[laraine]

"It's a pleasure." She bowed in the male clothes and short black hair, then gazed up at them all with her blue eyes. "My name is Echo." She was nervous around these people but she tried to ignore the pounding of her heart.

But another fear suddenly emerged from her mind.
I hope that they wont connect me with Echo the elemental...if they do things could get complicated. Towns think of me as someone who destroys towns but really I'm following the bandits...stupid rumors.

She looked at the two male figures evenly. "I do thank you for your help if you offer it." She was polite and seemed genuine. But inside she was uneasy, especially with that that elf. "I was asking this young woman a way out of the forest. I am looking for someone and time is of the essence."

I have to find them before they destroy another town...

[Kotori]

"im not a thing im an experiment"kotoir said boredly as she unfolded her wings and started preening them slightly nevously"something that makes me part bird i can fly you cant nana nana boo boo"she said trying not to giggle

Khaz's brown eyes flashed and his face turned to a smile
" A quest is it? Would you be needing people on this quest maybe a healer of sorts."
his left hand staying on his golden axe on his hip his right had though tracing the lines of his symbol on his chest. he seemed young and eager but this has been a his first opportunity to spread the teachings of Aldis
He looks up at the little one in the tree "Wings huh may i ask how you came to be? I have heard of experiments before but never to this extent."
