Gadrai didn't even look Sai's way - he was too focussed on F.M. - now that Gadrai knew where F.M. was. He'd wait until either F.M. began to move, or about two minutes. Gadrai's patience was beginning to run out because of the squirrel that was taken into the matters. He didn't like the idea of killing it, either, but there had been a few people chopping trees down, which meant some of the other populations would have to go down accordingly.

Sai gave a huff of annoyance. "Hey! Are you even listening to me?" He was greatly aggrivated by the actions of the elf, his green eyes narrowed. At least some compliance would have been nice, even if it was that horrible gibberish. Now boldened becaue of this, Sai walked up to the elf and tapped him on the shoulder. He wasn't afraid anymore persay but he still had a few disadvantages if a fight broke out.

Gadrai had no choice but to speak. He tried to sound calm, but a bit of anger came out anyways. "Leave me, human."

Sai backed off a little at the tone but still stood his ground, glaring at the elf. He refused to backdown now, well, now that he was standing a few steps away from the elf; if he even dared run he'd probably get an arrow in the back.
[Alright, let's wait for Jellybean then.]

The arrow pierced through the chipmunk in a non-vital area. It was still alive, for a while. F.M. opened up his hands to watch it make its last squirms and squeals. He frowned at the disappointment of his squeaky toy getting broken. Blood seeped out of it steadily. Enough time went past for the two to chat below. In this time, Fleeter came to the realization that the red liquid was not only the chipmunks, but it was of his own. The arrow hit him on his right hand, below his thumb. He dropped the now dead animal, which probably fell out of the tree. A tingle surged through to his head. A voice of what sounded like a possessed ten year old came out. "Damnit! That HURTS!!" He hissed.

[[ Eroko and I live within the same region, and usually hang together. Nothing serious, though. And I was thinking that FM had a few gaps between his/her/its hands, but apparently not. ]]
He heard the other, and tweaked his aim slightly as he drew and fired another warning shot. He didn't like being hissed at, especially when he intended for no injury. He nearly screamed back - well, at least, he had the volume and a bit of a nasty tone. "I will repeat myself! Begone, defiler of the Wood!"

Sai jumped, startled by the sudden voice. He glanced up at teh tree and realized the elf had hit something other than the chipmunk as well. He nearly freaked on the elf, taking a position in fron of him. "You just SHOT someone!" He sounded appaled, his fists clenched in anger.

Another warning shot came through and hit the trunk behind Fleeter. He was scared stiff, like a deer in headlights. Besides, leaving right now was like running with a gun pointed at you as you ran. Even the boy there didn't think it was smart to run. This elf could shoot at the pin of a needle if he intended to. F.M. went down low on a branch, hugging it with his large hands. He shivered in fear, teeth clenched and wide-eyed. "D-d-don't hurt me... I promise to be nice..."

Sai flailed his hands in the direction of the creature on the tree branch, still glaring full force at the elf. "See! Harmless! I don't see what you're problem its though!" He then crossed his arms, glad that the creature was safe, but still a little tempered.

Gadrai heard the tone, and stood down. Then he felt a drop of blood from F.M. He undrew his bow, and rubbed his thumb where he felt the drop. He saw blood, and sighed to himself, before notching the bow, aiming downward, and firing an arrow through his own foot. He had caused harm to a safe-passer. The other meant no harm, and yet he had caused harm to the other. His eyes closed and his face wrenched in pain, obviously, but it was his way of atoning for the harm he caused. He had nothing to say - it was evident they would never understand him, and he had a very hard time understanding the others. He could easily snap the arrow and pull his foot up, but he deliberately didn't. He was the only person that could fully reprimand himself for his own faults. He turned his head away from the human, an expression of guilt evident - which was rare for the elf. Elves usually showed little emotion.

Sai jumped back at the elf's action, evidently freaked out. "Y-You SHOT your foot!" His eyes were wide as his mind tried to comprehend the actions of the elf. First shot the creature in the tree and the chipmunk and then himself. He couldn't quite get his head around it. He could only merely point to the elf, now speechless. He shook his head in disbeleife and glanced at the creature in the tree. "Does this guy make any sense to you?"

Gadrai figured he would be misunderstood, and sighed, waiting for the others to leave before he removed the arrow. It was rare for anyone to understand him. There had been no elves in the area he was in for close to a century. The previous one only passed by. None he had seen come by knew Elvish. Nor did anyone have quite the same morality that he did. Unlike everyone else, he was the odd one. No matter which way you looked at it, he was the oddball.
He began to regret his main skill. It was the skill that got him exiled, and now he saw it true that he would have to drop his archery to gain a place in the world. He threw his bow away, cursing at it. "You accursed reminder of the past, begone!"

Fleeter was still staring at the blood pouring down his hand and the sound of Sai's voice was blocked out. It wasn't like he was excessively bleeding, but he always managed to avoid danger, so seeing his own blood was very uncommon to him. His face grew pale and his eyes rolled back. Fleeter grew limp, then fell unconscious out of the tree. His landing didn't make more sound than a pillow would since he was so light. His eyes were closed but his tongue stuck out in a way that was nearly comical.

Sai glared at the elf's strange behaviour, still a little confused. USually he could at least undersatand a little elven but what this elf was jabbering about confused him horribly. He gave up trying to assist the elf and saw the creature passed out on the ground. Had he been in a lighter mood, Sia probably would have chuckled, but at the present moment his concern was great. The blonde human walked over to the creature and looked at the minor wound, giving a small sigh as he put pressure on the wound to stop what little bleeding there was. He glanced back at the elf hoping he'd understand. "Could you get me a strip of cloth or something so I can bandage the wound before it gets infected?"

Gadrai shook his head, unable to understand Sai one bit. However, though little did either know, Gadrai would unintentionally help Sai. Gadrai was quick to begin removing his tunic - the top half, at least. What, was there an honest thought that Gadrai would strip down in front of people like that? Get some decency! Nonetheless, the elven male sighed to himself. "I am no elf to the likes of any. My garb graces me too far for me to wear it. The fabric would be more than sufficient to suit the need of a bandage; many times over, to put it obviously.
