Physical Description: Rosemary has long brown hair that tumbles down her back in silky curls. She has violet eyes, a small nose and a large smiling mouth. She is of a medium build and a plump figure. She loves to wear the colour purple but is aware that it's not the most practical colour for travelling and wears brown when she's away from home. Her travelling clothes include a green wool dress and a brown hooded cloak. She wears a worn leather belt with lots of little pouches where she keeps potions ingredients, mostly herbs and bits of plants that she finds on her travels.
Personality: Rosemary is a mage who specialises in healing magic. She is very stubborn and has been described as being "unmovable as a mountain" and as a result can come across as bossy and aggressive. She is very emotionally strong, and doesn't let pain and fear get in her way. If she is emotionally distraught she'll wait until a convenient time to cry rather than lose it in the middle of an emergency. She can also be very compassionate and maternal. She is also brutally honest and treats people according to who they are as a person, if someone is a high rank but obnoxious, she finds it hard to respect them. She finds it impossible to lie.
History: She comes from a long line of witches and owns a book of shadows passed down in the female line of the family. It is a book full of potions and spell and also a kind of journal, each previous owner has added to it and she too will pass it on to her own daughter one day. Her mother taught her healing magic and her father was a mage of limited skill who came from a poor family and couldn’t afford the training required to become a great wizard. Her parents were never married and she is shunned by some of the people in her village as a result (except when they want something from her) She lives in the village where she grew up, working as a healer
