Jet-black scales, glowing crimson eyes, Bipedal dragon body(Anthro, sorta, NOT "Furry")
Personality:
Will, after years of excruciating events, has become insane. His mood will often suddenly swing from kind and gracious, to blood thirsty and crazed. Often showing the traits of a mad man and a gentleman within a course of a few minutes.
He enjoys women, having been known for courting females of different species, even humans, frequently. However, he usually tends to enjoy making dragon females his mates the most. This is the only sense of where he might be hypocritical in his actions, as he usually has a firm belief that all non-dragons, humans especially, are inferior creatures. But more often than not, he makes the common excuse that whoever he had mated with had "Proven" themselves in his eyes, an event that is false most of the time.
History:
Will was born 1700 years prior. After a large event when he was young, involving his parents and sibling as well as a violent black dragon, Will and his brother had gotten amnesia, and on top of it all, were stuck in human form.
Years go by, and the pair soon learn that they didn't age, or more so they aged at a much much slower rate than everyone else. They traveled the world for a thousand years, finally coming into a kingdom known as Azuria. During a fight with a group of Drow(Dark elves for those who don't know) Will's brother was killed, the sight of his sibling's corpse putting Will into a deep rage, which in turn caused him to accidentally shift into his full-dragon form. More time goes by and many many events plague the shadow dragon, he learns of many things about himself as his memories gradually began to return to him.
He learned that he could control magic that allowed him to manipulate shadows, and even infuse his fiery breath with it to make a shadow fire of sorts. Eventually, after two years of practicing with his powers, he had managed to do many things he thought were unimaginable. The key most important of these, was the ability to tear a rift into another dimension, known as the shadow realm. The shadow realm was an alternate universe, the sky always blood-crimson, and the ground pitch-black. Within it, lurked dangerous creatures of demonic presence, which listened to and obeyed the commands of only those powerful enough to do so.
Will was such individual with the capabilities of gaining the command of the deadly Shadow beasts and shades that roamed through the nearly unlimited space of the shadow realm. Will was, from that day forward, a "Shadow Lord" a being powerful enough to control a certain amount of land within the realm. For those who know of Will's past, some would argue that the shadow realm was the best thing that could happen to Will, while others would argue that its very presence was what drove him into insanity. Either way, it had granted him large sums of power.
Of course, with this power, came consequences. As he traveled, he found he could traverse between other dimensions and even through time itself via the shadow realm. When he would enter another dimension, sometimes some sudden shift in power in the shadow realm would cause it to lose its hold on the area, disallowing him from using his magic while there, and even the ability to travel back to the shadow realm until the power struggle was over, or until Will could physically reestablish the shadow realm's grip on the dimension.
The realm, being almost a sentient creature in itself, would sometimes purposefully send Will to a dimension it was losing its grip on without any warning just so he could reestablish its presence there. Which brings us to where Will currently is. Having been sent into this dimension without warning, no belongings, no magic, no sense of where to go. Will finds himself in the odd predicament of once again being forced to find a way to get back to the shadow realm, without just getting spat back out again.
Strengths
Good amount of strength.(Good amount weaker than an orc though, keep in mind.)
Scales give good protection
In the future, some very weak magical abilities, most prominent being the ability to create weapons from shadow.
Flight(wings must not be damaged for this)
Weaknesses
Light magic weakens him.
Emotions are easily manipulated through the use of a loved one, or the letting of blood.(He can't stay calm when there's fresh blood in the air)
Creator's notes
Just a few things i'd like to clarify about Will.
He is not invincible, and never will be. Dragon scales are tough, yes, arrows have very limited effectiveness against them, that does not mean that a hailstorm of arrows is just going to bounce off of him. That does not mean that a strong slash from a sword will not cut him. That does not mean that a full-on strike from a hammer won't injure him. He's mortal, just like everyone else.
In my current ideas for Will here, he will have one goal in mind, to reestablish the connection between the roleplay's dimension, and the shadow realm. However, if he were to succeed he'd have no point in staying, and even if he did he would be much too powerful as the shadow realm is what gives him his magical strength. As such, this will be an impossible goal, always something standing between him and his success.
Will shapeshifts, but due to the lack of magic on his part i'll probably cut that ability out for this roleplay. Thus, he will almost always be in a bipedal dragon form.
To clear up any thoughts on the whole "Courting" thing i mentioned before. He's not just going around trying to have sex, look at it more as a guy who is desperate for a girlfriend
