Looking while Reixou was climbing onto the ashworm, Ashis made herself comfortable. When she saw that the man was sitting down the Asherati made a clicking sound with her tongue. Growling the ashworm started to move. Slowly it's massive body began to curl through the sands, after a few feet it accelerated, even outmatching a fast steed.
"I mostly use an ashworm when I am accompanying someone who can't travel fast through the desert. My own..." Ashis paused for a moment, seeming to search for a word. "My personal methods are much faster."
For a moment she looked around the desert. No threats were in the vicinity, for now. For those that aren't experienced with the life in the desert it is impossible to fathom that danger is always lurking. Be it desert bandits, ashworms or worse...
"It is not strange you haven't seen an ashworm before. They only appear in areas the caravans avoid. Ashworms aren't very picky about what they eat." A smirk appeared on her face.

The large worm began to move. Reixou was quite impressed at the speed it traveled.
Ashis spoke, explaining why he had not seen one before. He smiled at the fact that it wasn't very picky about what it ate, as it had appeared to have planned to eat her at first.
"I could imagine it would need not be picky, as the pickings are pretty slim out here; at least, they appear to be."
He recalled the great beast in the hills below the city of the Night Elves, eating whatever was too slow to escape.

Suddenly AShis stood up and looked at the sandstorm which was gathering behind them. "My, my. that looks like a fierce one." She tried to calculate the speed of the storm behind them and came to the conclution that they wouldn't make it to the nearest town. Luckliy Ashis spotted a rockformation nearby.
"We are going to those rocks!" She said to Reixou. There they could rest for a while. "Eventhough you are immortal, I doubt you'd like it when your skin, and perhaps your eyes get shred to pieces. Storms are very violent in this time of year."
Ashis laid her hand on the thick scales. Altough they are very protective, it seemed they didn't help against the Asherati's touch. The ashworm growled the second he was touched. Quickly he turned towards the rocks.

Reixou glanced back at the thought of having his skin shred by grains of sand.
"No, I would not enjoy it at all, I'm afraid." He held on a bit tighter as the Ashworm raced towards the formation. They reached it just as the sandstorm began swirling around the rocks. Reixou unfurled his wings quickly and blocked the majority of the sand from hitting his face, while they climbed down to take shelter between the rocks.

When climbing down into the rocks, Ashis discovered a small cave. The second he got a chance, the ashworm made a run for it and disappeared under the sands. "We should stay here for a while until the storm blows over." Ashis' skin gave a soft glow in the dark, which made it possible to see.
She made herself comfortable and sat down with her legs crossed. "Better to instal ourselves. The storm may take a while. The last one was interrupted by me but I won't do it with this one." For a moment the Asherati looked around in the cave. "What do you seek with those elves at the coast?"

The two climbed down into a medium-sized cave, something that wasn't exactly expected, but fairly logical to encounter in such an environment.
Reixou was a little surprised at her faintly-glowing skin, but was glad for its' light as the cave was rather dark. She inquired about the Elves on the coast.
"Well, I really don't have anything to ask of them, nor do I have anything I owe them...I simply am curious as to whether they are there or not. Part of me is also curious as to whether they would consider me a threat or not, because of my history with the Elves...but of course, the Blood Elves would be the most likely of all to accept my rather unlikely rebellion against my nature." Reixou paused. He could tell that Ashis would not judge him for what he was.
"You may have heard legends, about the ancient Wraiths that brought the destruction of the five great Elven cities." He watched for her reaction.

So Ashis' hunch was correct. No creature should have a red skin. Not through any natural way. She didn't know how precisely but it appeared Reixou went through a transformation, which made him an outcast in his civilization. The Asherati also knew how it was to be cast out of the ancestral home. Though that was the result of Ashis' own choice.
She didn't knew much about Reixou, his race or cultural heritage. Afterall, the only time she had spended out of the desert was in the arena.
"I don't quite understand why these Blood Elves would accept you when others would not." Ashis said while pondering. "And I can't say I am acquainted with Elven lore. We Asherati have lived away from the other races until two centuries ago." Interested she leaned towars Reixou, wanting to hear teh story.

"The Blood Elves rebelled against certain....racial rules that we elves had, per se. The Elves used to be one pact, one race. Then they split. Five major groups of elves came out of that; and one of them were the Blood Elves; those who rebelled against the humans. The one that I came from was called the Night Elves. There are also the Sun Elves, the High Elves, and the Wood Elves....though it seems there have been some that have split off from those, and branched out even more." He looked at the intriguing elf, wondering where her people came from.
"Anyway," He continued, looking at his hands. "I am what you might call cursed. I am a wraith. I cannot die, nor am I alive; my soul is that of a demon. I can be restrained and held captive, but not without difficulty and never eliminated."
