Alone and Guilt-ridden }{ Open

Well, pixies travelled, and they travelled fast. Like some sort of unstoppable force across the country. And gossip between pixies was faster than anything. If one pixie discovers a secret... then, almost instantly, the entire flock knows. It’s hard to tell how. But they were good at things like that. Were-cats? Huh. Seen one, seen them all. Pikky had only been six months old when he’d seen the were-cat... but that was pretty much a teenager for pixies. They grew up quickly. “Hmph,” was all that he replied to her reply.

As the topic of conversation twisted, he glared at her for a moment, buzzing around her head again, before ‘touching down’ as it were onto the ground nearish to her, though never too close. “Aye, there are another clan nearby, but I don’t want no part in them,” Pikky said, with regrettably bad grammar. Pixies were never the most educated creatures—certainly, some (especially females, it seemed) grew rather intelligent, but for the most part... not so much. “I’m more of a loner pixie. Like you seem to be, were-cat,” he said; now calling her by a new title, which at least was better than ‘Bigfolk’ (at least, in his eyes).

Riki smirked a little at her new title. It seemed more fitting, at least. She hardly counted herself as a terribly large person. Her mentor had been a considerable amount taller than her. Of course, she had been younger, and he was a full grown man. Stupid guys, being all tall-ish and such.

"I'm more of a loner pixie," Pikky said, "Like you seem to be, were-cat." She nodded at this. It seemed every group had its loners, whether by choice or by force. She supposed he wanted some sort of explanation, seeing as how he had been rather blunt in his observation.

"Aye, I travel alone these days. The clan I come from is...no more, though I would have been sent out for things on my own, anyway. Now I just wander." She said this with a shrug, as if to say, 'No big deal, really.'
