Astar caught Silvarn's blow in his fist. The twilight magic was slightly burning his hand but Astar didn't care. HE brought his face close to Silvarn, their heards were only a few inches removed from each other. "Let me explain my words. There shall be no suffering, pain, joy or happiness because nothing shall remain standing after my purge. And there shall be a golden age after the universe has burned in black flames and the dead rise. That is my vision, goal and destiny. To douse the flames of life and bring the cold of death to this world." Asatar opened the palm of his other hand. From his open palm a huge magic force came forth bashing against Silvarn's chest, pushing him thirty feet back.
Immeadialty after that Astar sended a huge wave of black flames, that was much stronger and burned with much more heat than any other spell Astar casted till now, towards Silvarn. Asatar smiled, convinced Silvarn was dead now, and turned his back towards Silvarn. But his smiled dissapeared quickly when he heard a crackling sound behind him. Astar looked and saw pure white lightning bolts flying towards him. He quickly raised his arm attempting to block it. When the smoke of the lightnings impacts was gone, Astar saw that a part of his cloak was burned away and the hand he rose had pieces of its flesh burned away. His hand twitched, it really hurted. The hand regenerated quickly and when he saw who attacked him his eyes widend.
In front of Silvarn stood a woman. Long silver coloured hair that went down till the end of her back. Grey-coloured eyes, a slight tanned skin colour and dressed in a white robe. She shot Asatar with the lightning and also blocked his spell when he tried to kill Silvarn. When Asatar got over the first shock a smirk appeared. "Long time no see, Aegwyn." The woman keeped looking at Asatar with a enraged look, her yees narowed, but looked at Silvarn for a moment from her eye corners. "How do you like the redecorating?" said Asatar. "Can't say i like it." Aegwyn coldy replied. Asatar chuckled. "Right, i forgot. As the spirit of life you never enjoyed change. Don't you, Little sister?"

"Ah, sibling rivalry. Well, I will let the two of you work things out and..." Silvarn made as if to run away in a very hasty fashion, when Aegwyn's sharp glare stopped him cold. "Your brother is not quite there, Lady. I mean, life is all about change and death is what never changes. See what I mean?"
Aegwyn chose not to respond, instead returning her glare to her brother.
"What in the Blue Blazes is going on here?" he muttered to himself.
Damned if I know. Hah, hah, hah! Do you get it? I am a demon! I am already damned! Oh, if I had a knee I would slap it right know. Hoo, that was a good one.
"Seriously, Scrocahr, do you have any idea what is happening here?"
Sibling rivalry. You said it yourself. Just on a godly scale. It is good thing this woman showed up when she did. That idiot would have gotten the better of us eventually.
"Hopefully, she can help us. And the sooner we are out of this plane, the better."
We have been through worse. Remember Alchara?
"Why must you bring up the worst memories during the worst scenarios?"
And he said something about "Ruler of All Planes." It sounds like we are stuck here.
"Damn."
Why do we always end up being the heroes?

Aegwyn closed her fists. "Why Asatar? Why are you doing this? you didn't used to be like this. There was a time, Astar, when you respected the deceased. You hated to be the spirit of death because you didn't want to bring suffering to anyone, but you still did it. Always before you took a soul to the underworld you gave them a chance to send a last message to their relatives but now..." Aegwyn looked around her. "You transformed this entire plane and others into a wasteland. You don't give any rest to the souls but you torment them. You aren't my twin brother." Aegwyn looked away from Asatar, like he wasn't worthy of her look. Asatar just started to laugh.
"Sorry but it was YOU who banished me out of the spirit plane. It was YOU that sealed me in this cursed mortal shell. It was YOU that took my desirved title! I am the oldest spirit of all. I was already ancient when most spirits didn't excist. Yes, i hated to be the reaper of souls. When something bad happend to the mortals they always blamed me. Instead of opening their eyes and see that everything bad that happened was because of their stupidity they took the easy path and placed all the blame on me! And the drop was my banishment. I was kicked out by my own kind. And why? Because i did my job!" Asatar gained a sinister smile. "Well, when you banished me you dug your own grave. I found one of the seven artifacts." Asatar revealed the bracelets. "With this i have my own powers back before you made me a mortal and they also absorb my magical powers so i don't overload the plane and let it explode." Aegwyn's eyes widend
"Asatar! Are you insane? Those are the bracelets of Dirus. Wearing those means you have given up your sanity! Remove them Asatar! When you do that we will talk about this and make it undone before it becomes permanent! Aegwyn's look went to Silvarn. "Mortal! Stand behind me." the woman then focused back on Asatar, her eyes narowed again. "Yes, i banished you but not because you did your job. It is because you broke one of our laws, Asatar. Contact with a mortal. I reported a flaw in your work to protect you Asatar. If the others knew what the real reason was you would have been sealed away. How is she? The mortal you always visited? I bet she is suffering. Tormented in the underworld, not because of the magic you use to torture the souls but because of what you are doing."
Asatar's hand was lying on the side of his head. His eyes had a strange look, a bit of guilt could be seen in it. "It is true.. She is suffering..." He shook his and the anger was back in his eyes. " I don't care what happens to her or the other mortals. I don't care if i lose my sanity because of these bracelets. Every plane is under my control, Aegwyn. Except for one. And that is yours."

Wow...what a crybaby.
"No kidding."
Well, I can relate, kind of,
"How so?"
Well, I was always mother's favorite when my brothers and I were growing up. After father was exorcised, mother dearest was available to have a new mate. And instead of choosing, oh say, her favorite son, she chooses that fiery ape that masquerades as a demon who dared call himself my brother...
"Scorcahr?"
No, that is my name! She chose that stupid Mantarahr! Honestly, I think he was born with his brains in his biceps.
"Scorcahr...?"
No, not Scorcahr! Mantarahr! What? Are you deaf?
"Scorcahr..."
Are you trying to make me give us a migraine?
"Scorcahr!"
What?!
"Shut...up!"
Are you certain you do not want to hear about the rest of may family history?
"Maybe some other time. Say, the end of eternity?"
Yes, I do believe I have an opening there.
"Enough. We have to worry about the matters at hand."
Must we?
"Yes...excuse me, m'lady. What do you intend to do to shut this raving lunatic up?" Silvarn looked expectantly up at Aegwyn. "And I mean your brother, not the demon in my skull."
One migraine, coming right up!
