"Wompy, don't be so cruel," Said Damien, then turned to the hyena-girl.

"Tell me...what race are you? i've never met one lke you before." He asked, genuiely curious. She seemed extremely shy, even frightened.

Samuel shook his head, rolling his eyes. From what he'd gathered, Wompy barely trusted anyone. He raised an eyebrow and wondered what race she was.

Fine you guys win, but i'm just gonna take a back seat on this one. should anything bad happen to you guys from trusting her i want no part of it.unl ess it is a matter of life and death.

Damien smiled and nodded to womy. "Fair enough. You dont have to get involed with things you dont want to."

He turned back to the hyena-girl, waiting for her answer, slowl releasing her arm. He didnt think she would run, and if she did it was no real loss if no one caught her.

[wompy]

Wompy went over to a medium sized tree, graabed the base and uprooted ut out of the ground. he tossed it down on the ground with a resounding thump. then taking one of his maces he began to pound the tree out of boredom.

[Muzz]

The creature paused a moment, as if struggling to remember what she was, then spoke up with her rough voice. "muzz is a gnoll," she said. "sorry. muzz not want to hurt anyone. just wanted to eat goblins." She cowered a little after these words. "that is, if you not going to eat them."

Samuel seemed taken back. He'd never heard of gnolls or eating goblins for that matter. He shuddered at the thought.

"Well if we are eating them then I think I'll pass." He sighed, showing his disgust.

Wompy had made a good sized dent in the tree with his poundings. He figurend his creation should be done in a while so he kept on hammering. when he had hollowed out most of the inside he began knowcking out the bottom

Damien was startled as the gnoll spoke. He looked over to the goblins and, seeing their slshed open bodies, turned away, fighting a gag.

He lost his train of thought for a moment from Wompy's poundings, then remembered what he was going to say.

"Well..its rather dangerous here. Go ahead and eat the goblins, but i'm going to have nothing to do with it and prbably just head to the nearest town." Now that they were out of danger, he let his guard down a bit. the exhaustionwas obvious as he spoke agin, and his shoulders slumped a bit.

"I think all three of us could use a shower and a rest. Are you going to be okay in here?" He asked it. Muzz seemed somwhat defensless. when he had attacked her she didnt even block him. "If not, another hour wont hurt. We can escort you out when you've finished...eating."

Samuel sighed, flopping back onto the grass. He'd only just realized how tired he really was. He gazed up, through the forest canopy and into the sky. He watched the dark blue clouds drift past, blowing in the wind.

He was beginning to see the stars as the sky grew darker.

"I suggest we make camp here. We'd never make it out before nightfall." He said, folding his arms under his head.

Damien groaned. "Nighttime? Already? Damn it! The last thing we need is to spend the night here!"
He glanced up and found that it was in face getting darker outside.

"Well, i guess we camp here. Go ahead, Muzz, eat your fill. I'm going to be right over there." He sat against a nearby tree, feeling his tense muscles painfully relax.

"Wompy, tht okay with you if we camp here?" He called out.

"seeing as how we have nowhere else to go we might as well." wompy slunk into his log covered the top with water proof cover from his bag. "i will hopefully see you all in the morning."

[Muzz]

Muzz looked at the others in apparent surprise. "you guys not going to eat goblins? muzz can have all?" She smiled for the first time since they'd found her, though it was given an unnerving edge by the sharp fangs that she displayed.

"No no. You can have them all." Samuel smiled, shaking his head a little. He laid still for a moment, staring at the sky. He felt his stomach growl. He hadn't eaten since that morning and it was midday when he had collided with Wompy and Damien.

"Night guys." He called.

Damien was as well, but was not going to eat goblin. Ever. "Goodnight, both of you." He looked at Muzz.

"Yes, you can have all of them." He didn't thing she could eat a hundred or more Goblins, but he motioned to them. "We're not going to stop you."

He lay down, but, despite how exhaustd he was, didn't want the camp to be attacked in their sleep. So he sat up again, sword at his side, watching with a careful eye towards the forest. He sat that was until the morning hours, when the sun began to rise. The night, thankfully, had been uneventful.
