A rusted sword appeared from nowhere and sliced through the metallic substance as if it was water.
Raine looked up and saw Rusty on top of a nearby tree. He saluted and then jumped down, landing on his feet with ease. "I suppose its time for the great hero to make his entrance huh?" He smirked.
The demons growled and Eline Risk glared.
He laughed, waving his hands at his fellow relatives. "Hey now..I just want to know what will actually happen to her. I have no use of her other than that." he smirked. Two rusted daggers cut the arms off the demons that held Raine. Both demons cried out in pain.
Raine took this chance and escaped their hold, grabbing her wand and pointing it at everyone around her. Her breathing became labored, her hold on the crystal wand shaking slightly.
It was then that Raine began to feel there was no hope.
"Laraine Lockner Risk, do you believe someone will save you from your plight? That man you traveled with, Silvarn was it? He will not come to save you. Kill you, maybe but not save you."
Raine smiled. "I know it might happen. That's what we promised. It can't be helped that I fell in love with him." She smiled weakly. " I really am pathetic if I think about it." She laughed lightly.
Eline Risk stared hard at the girl. "You are out of time Raine. One more push and you will break apart forever. Please Laraine, let us kill you before your soul completely shatters! If that happens you might not be able to be reborn!"
" I understand the risks. I always did. If my soul is split apart, I may not become anything but the energy that is used everyday. I will lose my conscious and my memories. I will lose everything. But I have to try, I have to try living. I don't want to die. I'm so scared. I wanted Silvarn to know how much it meant that he was by my side, even if he hated me. Even if it's better that way so he won't suffer. I just want him to be free from those beasts that controlled him for so long!!"
"So your doing this for him.." Eline stated bluntly.
Raine nodded. "But he will probably never know this. So please, fight me....if you must. But only he will kill me.."
You are a fool Laraine...and he is a bigger one for not even noticing the problem can be solved easily...

"How touching," Echoes said, his voice constricted by the exertion of resisting Silvarn's power, "she loves you."
The blood in Silvarn's veins froze and the blazing silver lightning surrounding him faded almost instantly. Echoes smashed his palm into Silvarn's chest, a ring of moonlight forming around the point of contact. Now, the rest of Silvarn's body became paralyzed.
"What is this?" he asked mockingly, "the great Silvarn Grey-Eyes immobilized and abject?" he chuckled darkly from within his mask, "Is that all there is? No challenge? No resistance? I am not complaining, but I had hoped for something more."
Thankfully, however, Silvarn's mind still churned, but his thoughts were not connecting. Raine loved him. Raine loved him. Raine loved him? No! She was supposed to be in love with Samuel! That is what he had worked for -- putting those two together so he could bow out gracefully, retreat into the depths of the world, and resume his search for a way to leave it. And now...this.
A shudder went through the air, sending pinpricks of fear up Silvarn's spine.
"He is here." Echoes said, almost happily.
All the while, Scorcahr had been shaping himself into the form of a mental needle. I can handle him. You confront the Twisted Mirror. he told his host, then exited Silvarn's mind and launched himself at Echoes. The shadowy sorcerer was knocked off his feet at the sheer ferocity of Scorcahr's assault, and clutched at his skull as Scorcahr dug his claws into his mind.
Silvarn thought about annihilating Echoes then and there, but there was a more important matter at hand -- the Twisted Mirror. The grey mage reached his hand toward the far side of the Lake and with a violent sweeping motion, swept all the water in the Lake to one side. There it bubbled and churned in a tall, dark tower, exposing the wet Lake bottom. He sprinted across, paying no heed to the mud clutching at his boots. Thick, grey mist trailed behind him as he called the Twilight to him.
He only hoped that he got to Raine before she transformed, and especially before the Twisted Mirror found her.
"Hold on, Raine."

"It's already too late Silvarn, you won't make it." Danny whispered from the shadow. "Raine will die."
"So be it..." Eline turned to the other remaining demons. "Go!" Raine swiped her wand and magic shot from the crystal stick, causing each demon to fall back one step. Raine met each eye evenly as they surrounded her. One used power over the earth to knock her to the ground. The rest scrambled as she was down and inflected wound after wound on Raine. Soon her body was cut up, bleeding from several places. She started to lose consciousness. That is, until Rusty appeared once more and drew the demons back from her battered body. Slowly she started to get back to her feet. But Eline would have none of it.
"Rhonda!" the old woman called and another one of Raine's family appeared. A demon with long pink hair and red eyes. She wore a simple dress with roses and red shoes. She looked elegant and young as she sauntered over. She thrust her hands foreword and vines sprouted from the earth to wrap around Raine. Raine was weakened by this time and had lost her wand, so as she struggled she looked frantically for a way out. Vines of thorns and roses wrapped around her legs, binding them together. Her arms forced outwards to the sides as the vines rose her up from the ground. The thorns cut deep into her skin and tore at her clothes, yet she remained awake and tried to pull herself from the trap they had laid for her. Her body rose up, forming a cross in the moonlight.
Rusty smirked and realized this was the best chance he had. He jumped up the nearest tree and touched her face. "Raine, I have another secret to tell you. A secret about your love Silvarn." He smiled wickedly.
Raine stared at him as he leaned in to whisper. " He plans to sacrifice you in order to free himself from The twisted mirror and Echoes. In the end, you were nothing more to him than that. A sacrifice. Nothing."
Her eyes widened, trying not to believe him. But the tears came, even as she tried to steady her soul.
I know....I know he doesn't care about me.. I know..but still..it hurts so much! I know I know! Iknow!Iknow!IknowIknowIknow!
"Rusty don't!" Eline yelled, Silvarn appeared just then and as Raine met his eyes, her heart beat rapidly.
The last crack tore through her soul rapidly, connecting with the others almost instantly. Her soul now covered with a spiderweb of cracks.
Crack....
Silvarn....
Shatter.
The life left her eyes and she slumped over. The vines, sensing the life leaving Raine's body released their hold and Raine plummeted to earth.
"No, dont!" Eline screamed.
Rusty smiled.

Silvarn stopped in his tracks, all momentum and thought arrested. He stood there, staring at Raine's lifeless form. He was too late. The roiling grey mists surrounding him faded away as his concentration lapsed. Raine's body fell from her floral bonds and she fell through the air. Silvarn rushed forward, buoying her fall with a cushion of compacted air. As she floated to the ground, he embraced her, staring at her previously bright face, trying to make sense of it all.
He did not love her -- that was the truth. Even so, he to admit he did care for her, if only because he empathized with her state as an outcast, reviled for blood and power. Scorcahr was right. He had thrown away the one person who he could identify with.
There came a dark chuckle, and all eyes went to the demon sitting in a tree. He rose, gave a final condescending smirk, and bunched his muscles to leap away. Silvarn sprang to his feet and made a thrusting motion at the demon, who suddenly clutched at his throat, a panicked expression on his features. Silvarn's fingers constricted and the demon struggled harder. The grey mage then thrust the same arm at the ground, and the demon flew through the air, smashing through tree limbs before crashing into the ground. Silvarn then swept his arm across his body, and the demon hurtled backward into the tree trunk, sending shivers up the tree. Using his grip, Silvarn pulled himself forward to the demon, where he brought his snarling face close to the demon's.
"Good, Grey-Eyes, very good." a blasphemous voice crept in from all sides. "How I missed your hate. You were always so passionate, especially when you hid it behind your mask of apathy. There was a flurry of ebon-blue mist next to Silvarn, and a glowing eye appeared from the mists, staring at Silvarn. "Go on. Do it." he ordered.
Silvarn's fingers continued to tighten around the demon's neck, then stopped. Silvarn gritted his teeth, staring hatred at the demon in his grip. No, the hatred was misplaced. With a cry of rage, Silvarn swung the demon at the mist-eye, who vaporized long before the demon struck him. Having missed, Silvarn let the demon collapse into a rust-colored heap.
The eye reappeared, and the mists surrounding it condensed into a humanoid form. It had no face, but it wore scholarly robes with sleeves that almost brushed along the ground, elegant fingers with sharpened claws peeking from the mist-weave. Finally, around the eye eight spires of glowing midnight blue appeared and hovered around it.
"It has been a long time, Grey-Eyes." it greeted in a voice as cold and bleak as the Abyss. "Have you missed me?"
"You never really left." Silvarn said, stating the truth.
"Indeed. As I said, you are good at hiding your emotions, Grey-Eyes, but you never let your feelings go. You brought me back. Or, rather, you never let me leave. Your chains are still mine, and so long as you live, I will always be tethered to this world. Oh, and Echoes, too, I suppose. Though, his mastery of the Twilight pales in comparison to yours. You and I, Grey-Eyes, we wield a power that makes the gods tremble!"
"Silence, fiend!" Silvarn shouted, "I have heard your temptations before, and never again will I succumb to your poison!"
"Is it truly I who am the fiend? You, who has used everyone you encountered as a tool; you, who cares nothing for any other thing in the world; you, who seeks a coward's life of running away; you, who betrays those closest to him -- you, who calls me the fiend?"
"I --" Silvarn tried, but the conflicting thoughts in his head silenced him.
"Do not resist me, Grey-Eyes. You know you cannot. So long as your heart beats, you will never be free of me."
"It is not you I wish to be free from." Silvarn said, his mind and heart solidifying, "It is myself. I am not your servant, you are not my master; I am not the hero, you are not the villain; I am a man, and you are the obstacle in the path to my goal. Stand aside, or I shall remove you.
"Demons! Witches! If you wish to remain free and continue your blood-feud, for this moment this is your enemy!" he pointed at the phantasm, "Khul'Yddis, the Twisted Mirror."

All the demons and witches turned to Silvarn as he mentioned the new enemy. They prepared themselves to fight this new foe, when a strange laughter filled the air. Raine's body began to move. It stood up on its feet, slowly and clumsily. Her lifeless purple eyes closed and reopened. Only now they were blood red. A twisted smile appeared on her face and she took a step foreword. "Well.. I see the party is getting warmed up." The strange voice seemed usual coming from Raine's lips.
Eline cursed. "She woke up!"
Rusty smirked and hid behind a tree.
"Allow...me.." Raine raised her hand and with a flick of her fingers a blast of demonic and witches magic exploded under the Risks and Lockners, killing half of them. Raine's body then looked at Silvarn and the Twisted mirror and smirked.
"Silvarn...Twisted Mirror Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Seline."

"You clever dog." Khul'Yddis said to Silvarn. "You had planned this all along, had you not? I take pride in your treachery."
Silvarn gritted his teeth, but wisely remained silent.
"In any case, I suppose we shall have to deal with this...thing, before we can resolve matters between us. Such a pity Echoes is not present and we lost Scorcahr all those long years ago. Otherwise, this could have been like old times."
The area around Silvarn fairly exploded into roiling dark grey mist crackling with silver lightning. "Shall we get this over with, then?"
The Twisted Mirror brushed its hand before its eye and the spires glowed darkly, thick ebon-blue mist melting off its robes and poisoning the ground. Its fingers made strange signs before pointing crookedly at Laraine's former body.
Silvarn focused his mind on the immanent battle, channeling the mists before him in preparation for a shield. Raine, if you are still in there, somewhere, I will free you. I promise.

Seline sighed. "Men are so rude, they don't even bother to introduce themselves.." She pressed two fingers upon her forehead, as if thinking deeply. She then turned to them, ready for battle as she smiled widely.
"Though I must admit, you played very well into their hands Silvarn."
Her body glowed a combination of red and pink light, her hands forming witches and demons magic combined. She threw both at the twisted mirror and Silvarn at the same time.
"That poor girl risked everything for you Silvarn, she didn't care that her soul would break. That she would lose all consciousness, that her soul would be destroyed." She met his eyes evenly.
"But its funny, how in the end, the one she cared most for, destroyed her. Much like the Twisted mirror tried to do to you." She laughed. "Isn't that right?" She summoned up more demonic and witch magic and threw it at their feet, causing a large explosion to envelope them all. The screams of the dying echoed through the land.
"She was the strongest girl and the most foolish I have ever seen. Even as Rusty told us what you planned to do to her, she still tried frantically to grasp at her sanity, knowing she lost."
She continued to use the magic to her pleasure, causing nothing but chaos and death. "How does it feel Silvarn? To know you destroyed her soul?"

Silvarn anticipated as much. The Twilight swirling around him sprang upward as a wall of roiling grey mist. The red-and-pink magic collided with it, and the mists curled in around it, neutralizing and consuming it.
Then she met his eyes unflinchingly. Rare was the creature who could, and that meant they had legitimate confidence in their power. That, and a long, bloody battle lay ahead.
Her words cut through his illusion of apathy, as if she could read his very thoughts, and what little existed of his emotions. His mind already had enough to bear with maintaining his hold on the Twilight, but internal turmoil would be too much.
"Compose yourself, Grey-Eyes." the Twisted Mirror commanded, continuing his crooked gestures, ebon-blue lightning accentuating the vile kata.
The second hybrid attack detonated before them and threatened to engulf them both, had Silvarn not thrown a dome of Twilight over their heads in time. The grey mists caught the blast, folded in on it, and devoured it, dissipating itself in the process.
Still, the she-fiend's words chased his thoughts around with a great maw filled with a thousand chilling teeth. Worst of all, a sinking feeling began to form in his chest. At this point, Scorcahr would have chimed in with a well-placed mockery.
Scorcahr...
Silvarn thought of how selflessly Scorcahr had thrown himself at Echoes so that he, Silvarn, could protect Raine. It was only logical he should perform the same irrational action.
He cast one last disgusted glare at the Twisted Mirror, then flared his fingers, channeling Twilight through them and causing silver mist-flame to dance upon his hands.
"You will release Raine's soul, even if I have to dig her out of you with my bare hands."

"Fool." Seline whispered, the red and pink aura swirling around her body. "Didn't you listen to a word I said?" She didn't look happy as she said this. "In order for me to gain this body I had to break her soul, her soul has shattered."
She held out her arms and the power swirled around her arms towards her hands.
"Don't you understand Silvarn? Raine's soul is broken beyond repair.." Seline smiled softly and the large amount of witches magic and demonic magic surrounded the two two and began to explode around them, the earth itself began to tear apart. "She knew you were using her." Seline said, getting angry and forming more blasts. "She knew but she didn't care! You are all the same!"
A small flicker of light appeared deep within Raine's body. "stop." it whispered. But Seline couldn't hear the voice. She was too consumed with her own emotions and trying to destroy the two.

Silvarn shielded himself in a sphere of solidified Twilight as his surroundings detonated around him. Ripples of thick fog reverberated around his shield as the concussive shockwave from each explosion collided with the sphere. The holocaust continued, filling Silvarn's mind with misty grey, fiery red, and smokey black, even as he tried to keep the sphere from collapsing, imploding, and consuming him. Seline's words continued to cut through his apathetic armor, but he forced himself to endure her verbal and spiritual lashings. Anything less would mean certain death. Finally, the firestorm abated. Silvarn tentatively released his hold on the sphere, sending thin wisps of Twilight twining through the air.
The sheer destruction nearly overwhelmed him. Where once there had been lush forest, now was a charred crater. The caldera, not so much deep as wide, had grown enough to touch the edge of Lonea, causing the lake to spill into it. He saw Khul'Yddis lower his own ebon-blue shield, the Twisted Mirror's single eye fixed on Seline.
What in Blue Blazes happened here? a familiar voice said, echoing from somewhere within his mind.
"Raine's prophecy -- it came true." Silvarn managed to choke out.
The grey mage could feel Scorcahr digging through his memories, familiarizing himself with everything he had missed. Silvarn reflexively nudged Scorcahr away, but the demon shrugged the attempt off, saying, Do you want my help or not, Grey-Eyes? Ah, now I see why you are not faring too well -- she is trying to play mind-games with you. Now, you listen to me carefully, Grey-Eyes. Both you and Raine have more in common than you care to admit. You once had a broken soul, too.
Silvarn's steely mind caught on instantly, "You are right. A broken soul, when repaired, is stronger than it would ever be when whole, for it is tempered in the flames of oppression and cooled in the waters of self-actualization. But," then, an epiphany struck him, as a glimmer of silver appeared above his head and trickled down around his outline, "the soul can never be broken. It is inviolable. You broke only my mind," he said this to the Twisted Mirror, "and I broke Raine's heart. But our souls are still intact."
He adopted a defensive posture and the Twilight quietly wrapped and flowed around his body, "Raine is stronger than you have guessed, Seline. A creature with a soul that strong, but pure, cannot be kept down for long. And, until she reawakens, I will be here, waiting for her."
"Eloquent, to be sure, Grey-Eyes. But what of me?" Khul'Yddis inquired.
"You and I still have a score to settle, but now is not the time, nor the place. Take your disciple, and teach him well, for I fully intend to banish both of you from the face of Valear, and I want a challenge."
"If you so desire, Grey-Eyes." the Twisted Mirror acquiesced, then, with a grim laugh, vanished into the smokey darkness.
"Now, then," Silvarn growled, turning the full intensity of his burning grey eyes on Seline, "I present to you two options: You may submit to Raine and grant her full and total control of her body, mind, heart, and soul again; or, I can bring you to your knees, and crush your spirit so that Raine may live again. Either way, you lose."

Seline listened to Silvarn's words with a raised eyebrow. Once he finished talking, the corner of her mouth turned up. "Ohhhh I get choices do I? How exciting!" Her face suddenly contorted into a disgusted look. "You think you are calling the shots, do you?" she asked in a low voice. "I have been reborn in countless girls." She took a dangerous step towards him, every step she took the earth around her died. She was glowing dangerously a mixture of pink and red energies. It was as if she was death herself. " I have been reborn again and again Silvarn. Not one girl could reform back her soul. What makes you think Laraine could?" She questioned, taking another and another step to him. "She had been repressing feelings, emotions, deep wounds for years. She is just like the others, she is now overwhelmed with pain and sadness. She will be trapped forever in her own pain. Nothing changes from back then. You males will betray and in the end destroy everything." Seline hissed, barely a inches now from Silvarn. "Go ahead and try Silvarn, destroy me. Pull me out of Raine's body. Even if you manage to, nothing will be left but a empty shell. Why bother caring about her now? You can always go back to your old plan. Destroy this body and everything will return to normal." She smirked evilly. "I don't mind. I will just have to wait until the next foolish demon and witch create a child." Raine's body began to redden a little. It was from the heat of the magic that surrounded her. It was pulsing through her body at temperatures that were exceeding the limit the body could handle.
"This body wont last much longer anyway." The red eyes she wore glowed brightly.
Meanwhile, deep within the depths of Laraine's mind a small fragment of her soul was trapped. The piece of the soul slowly started to awaken. It didn't know who it was, or why it felt such agonizing pain. But it knew that something was wrong and that it was in danger of being erased.
Please.... It whispered.
Please, someone...help me..
Confused, it searched the darkness for any answers as the pain within it continued to intensify. Slowly it floated within the darkness and found a small window. Outside the window was the real world. Everything that happened replayed and the piece of soul began to slowly remember everything.
Silvarn....I am Raine...
The massive pain returned and she cried out.
No no no! nonono! Go Away! I don't want anymore pain! Stay away! Her soul fragment cried.
But slowly the words that Silvarn said before began to sink in. She paused a bit as her thoughts shifted.
He's...waiting..for me? A slight smile formed. He knows...I'm here?
Even though her soul fragment was weighed down with pain; she fought to see more. She wanted her soul back.
Seline suddenly halted her advancement and turned her head to the side.
"What? But how could she?" Seline looked a little confused, and then her eyes narrowed. She snapped her head back to Silvarn. "It seems a small fragment remained of our dear little Raine. But I won't take the chance that she will reform again."
Instead of attacking, Seline started to back away, her body starting to blend in with the misty chaos. She was attempting to make her escape.

A warmth spread through Silvarn's skin. She had survived. He had been right, after all. He allowed himself a ghost of a smile. Then the fiend holding her soul captive began to melt into the mists.
Stop her! Scorcahr screeched.
Silvarn thrust his arm at her, hooking his hand at the extent of the thrust. He willed a web of Twilight to ensnare her, bind her to this place, but found he could not. Mortified, he tried again out of desperation as her form continued receding. Then he noticed the faint outline of ebon-blue mist behind her, forming a circle around the clearing.
So that is what the Twisted Mirror was doing. Scorcahr said, He was weaving a Binding, to hold her here. Presumably, you as well.
"It matters not if I am bound here as well, so long as she is not allowed to escape." He pointed a condescending finger at the fiend inhabiting Raine's body. "You cannot crawl away like the coward you are, Seline. Stand and face me!"

Seline could sense the dome of energy attempting to trap her in this area, as well as Silvarn's desperate twilight energy trying to ensnare her. She lifted her arm to banish the magics that blocked her escape, but her arm stiffened. Her red eyes widened briefly, then narrowed.
"How dare you Laraine!" She growled, knowing that Raine was gathering more pieces of her soul.
How dare I? Raine asked, pieces of her soul floating back to her and reattaching. She now had one arm back and the other arm was slowly forming. Within her chest a pink glow shone brightly. How dare you Seline! You used my weaknesses to bring me to the breaking point. You cast me out of my own body! You are the entire reason that my life was as horrible as it was. And I will be cast in the fires of the underworld before I let you hurt anyone else!!
Raine's arm twitched and glowed pink. Seline used the other hand to try to restrain the glowing arm as it inched towards Seline's neck.
Suddenly Seline mentally attacked Raine and dark energies blasted through her soul. She cried out and flew back. Seline got control of her arm again, but realized it was too late. Silvarn and the other pest had trapped her there. She looked up at Silvarn, pink hair starting to rise as her body began to glow a bright red.
"Fine, you all wish to end this so badly? I will do it then." In one hand she formed dark red magic, in the other she held sparking pink magic.
Raine realized what she was about to do. Frantically she concentrated, her thoughts floating through the air towards Silvarn.
Demon! Silvarn?! Can either of you hear me? You have to stop Seline now! Once she combines those magics...Everything will die!
Raine frantically continued to pull herself together, hoping she can somehow take back control of her body. But Seline kept sending mental attacks to Raine's soul, the dark energy was hard to block and Raine was still in deep pain from everything that had happened.
I don't care what you have to do! Stop her! Raine shouted loudly through the link to Silvarns mind.

Did you hear that? whined Scorcahr, I certainly did. My ears are still ringing like the brass bells of the Cathedral Infernal. What do you plan on doing, Grey-Eyes?
"Waiting for the opportune moment." answered Silvarn, solidifying the mists around his hands into two translucent spheres of Twilight. Go on, Seline. Your pride will not allow me to call your bluff. Combine the magics, I implore you." he said, with something of a wicked smirk playing at his lip.
The fiend gave a scornful sneer, then contorted Raine's face with rage, a frightening sight made more so by that fair, innocent face. With a cry echoing the primal fury that at once creates and destroys, Seline smashed her hands together. And they bounced off each other. She looked bewildered at the silver spheres encompassing her hands and tried in vain to shake them off.
Silvarn made a grasping motion and the spheres flew back to his hands. He then made a dismissing gesture and the spheres collapsed, consuming the magics within them, leaving only swirling trails of grey vapor.
"Now then," he said with a frown, "what, exactly, were you trying to accomplish with that?"
Seline growled at him and recalled the magics to her hands, waiting no time in attempting to combine them.
Silvarn deprived her the satisfaction, whisking the magics away and banishing them before they had even the slightest chance of combining, "You never learn, do you?" he asked.
Seline bared her teeth and tensed her body again in preparation for summoning the magics again. The moment they formed in her hands, Silvarn sent a sphere of hardened Twilight at her, catching her square in the chest. She recoiled slightly, enough for her to lose control over the magics, which danced furiously through the air before eventually fading away.
Silvarn stared hard at Seline, his ancient, dead eyes boring into hers, "Come now, Seline. You claim to be so powerful, and yet I am able to thwart you at every turn. Perhaps I did not require the efforts of the Twisted Mirror after all. Admit it, Seline, you are not as powerful as you think yourself to be. And yet, you continue to pride your prowess, even in the face of contradictory evidence. What, then, do you have to be proud of?"

Seline seemed to be seething with fury. Every time she had tired to combine the magics, Silvarn had managed to stop her before the magic could combine. Enraged, Seline tried to combine them over and over, but Silvarn stopped her every time.
Breathing hard, Seline was on her knees. Raine's body was stressed to the limit. Sweat poured from her face as she stared with a blank expression. Silvarn's comments made her sneer. She let out a low chuckle.
"Oh? Pride? You really believe this is what this is all about?" She got back to her feet and stared at Silvarn. The red tint of her eyes revealed her age.
"Pride has nothing to do with it, Gray eyes. Not that you would understand anything." Her voice had become emotionless.
"I won't be happy until this entire sickening world is turned to ash..." She whispered in a dark voice. "No matter how many times I must be reincarnated, I will destroy this miserable planet and every pathetic creature in it."
Raine's body began to glow a red tint again. The energy caressed her body, but as it did, the skin began to redden as her body was nearing the point of no return. "Even if I must turn this body to ash I will destroy everything. I will have my revenge on everyone."
Suddenly the energy faded and Raine's body hunched over on the ground, she started to breath hard, but slowly the red tint vanished, and her head looked back up, The red eyes were fading back into purple.
"Silvarn..." Raine said, trying to regain control over her body. "Seline's weakness...........She's mad at everyone because they killed her daughter and boyfriend...the witches...the demons.......if we can take that away......we can......" suddenly Raine screamed and fell foreword, her eyes returning to the crimson color.
"You little witch." Seline growled, "Die already Laraine!!!"
Raine's soul screamed as more darkness surrounded her.
Seline stop this! Raine cried. This wont bring them back!
Raine tried to regain herself, pieces of her shattered soul were circling around her. Everything around her was black.
Please....I have to find a way to stop her....
Seline turned to Silvarn, her body beginning to glow again. "There is one thing I am confused about Silvarn." She started. "You do not love Raine, then why try so hard to save her? Is it merely just pity? Is it merely just you see a bit of yourself in her? A being that shouldn't exist and is hated by those who should love her? Hmph...she still trusts you. Despite all her pain she trusts that you will save her. But you really do plan on killing her anyway, right?" her body began to glow red. "Sometimes sacrifices are needed for the better good, correct?Killing her now would be better since no one else would get their hands on her...like say the Twisted Mirror..yes?"
She formed a whip of demon magic and slashed it at Silvarn over and over. "Its...all...for the best!"
