Len's focus was too intense. He had been expecting the oxygen drop, having had heard rumors about it. His arm was completely locked solid, only made more solid by the cold, and his state of mind was weakened, as to only stick to one thing due to the lowered oxygen. He'd not heard Saira at all, too focussed on self-preservation to even bother.
Maybe it was sheer luck that didn't allow his feet to slide, or partially skill; or a mix of it all. Whatever it was, Len was intact. His brain had adjusted to the lesser oxygen. He seemingly relaxed some; though not enough to let go of his near-iron grip. He knew that Saira has said something. He was fairly loud. Easily heard? Yeah. Too loud? Maybe. "Pardon?"

"I asked if you were doing allright," She repeated, a tiny bit more loudly, after he'd relaxed a tiny bit.
He is doing better than I thought he would, Sarora said back to them. Her wings beat a steady rythem, occasionally halting alltogether, gliding hundreds of feet above the earth. To those on the ground, she looked like no more than a small bird. Even the glint from her scales were hidden.
"Say something if you're too cold," She added, "Or your head hurts. The pressure change can be fatal, sometimes, so please speak up if so."

Kimara watched Sarora rise from the hidden enclave that had been her home for the past week. The dragon glided skillfully and beautifully, catching the sun's rays on the tiled hide. Two figures were perched on the back of the dragon, one moving easily and one being a bit less adept. It seemed that the Dragoon had offered to go with Saira and Sarora and that the offer had been accepted.
Kimara watched as they rose higher into the sky and watched until they were out of sight. Then, Kimara came out of the nook that had been occupied since the night before. "I wish you luck, child," the cracked and dry lips whispered to the surrounding hillside.
With that, Kimara hitched up the satchel and turned and began to climb the foothills back towards the cabin at the top of the Blaze Mountain.I'm going to lock this one. If you two want to continue it, it's probably best to start another thread since you will probably be leaving the Selkia. Thanks. It was fun. :) -
