[navy]With the sun in his eyes and sand in his shorts, Twichey
pressed on. This desert was indeed a hellish place...
he liked it. And even if he didn't the choice wasn't his
anyway. He was free to do whatever he pleased, but when
his dark master gave him orders he followed without question
for he knew what would become of him if he did not.
Ancient memories flashed through his mind. burning flesh
gashing wounds, and rotting corpses. He would not be one
of the fools who denied the dark master his wishes.
"The master wanted me to come hear, to this dry arid dessert
and so i did". Unsure why he was hear but not asking questions
he trudged on through the sands.
Night was falling, and as hot as the dessert was in the
day it surprised Twichey how cold the night could be.
He needed to rest the sun had utterly drained his willpower
and energy to their limits. Far far in the distance a
light was dimly glowing. Unsure what this could be.
To the best of his knowledge there was nothing to be used
as firewood in this barren place. But if there was fire
then fire meant people, and people meant one of two things.
In one hand, a traveling fool lost in a desert. But in the
other hand, it could mean a group of bandits. His gut told him to stray away
no mater who it may be. But his nerves told him otherwise, he knew
what he had to do for his master. He trekked on through the night
weary and he slowly crept toward the small glimpse of light.
The sun was beginning to rise and he had nearly reached his destination.
The closer he got the more confused he became at what he saw. A great stone
protruding from the dunes with a large circle engraved in it. And their was
a young man he looked as if he had fallen asleep standing. "now theirs something
you don't see every day in a dessert". Their was also another young man
asleep on the sand. He was obviously at peace wear he lay. The sun had broken cover
of the horizon and began to shine. The very instant the sun hit the rock, the circle
he had once saw was no Meir circle it was all to familiar. Once again his head realed
and spun, but this time it was no Meir vision. This time he felt a presence that chilled him to the bone.
Screams, visions, and pain are all he knew for what seamed like a decade.
His master the dark deity of shadow burst from his body in a cloud of red and black smoke.
He fell to his knees and tried to scream but no sound came. The deity shot from his body to the circle. Before he hit the sand he could only imaging the two deities locked in some sort of battle The Skye's flashed from night to day night to day and back over and over again.
Finally the sky was black no light, no sun, no sky ...nothing, compete and utter darkness.
Twichey lay still the warmth of the once bright sand, his only comfort of the darkness.
He could feel, and breath but he could not move even his little finger.
"What had his master done just now"? Those were his final thoughts.
His master would save him, he knew he would it was only time that he need be curious about. Then he slept... not a pleasant sleep but that of the dead...[/navy]
