Upon hearing Deirdre say that she just couldn't stay in one place for to long, or that there were some places that would be better for her to avoid, Tal smiled and nodded. He to was better off by avoiding staying in one place to long. And there where some towns he'd better avoid as well.
As Rendylwin mused out loud about his idea to travel together, Talwyn started thinking. If the elf couldn't even find his own village, then what chance would he have on his own... In that regard helping Rendylwin would be beneficial to both of them. However, this also meant he could spend weeks, maybe even months before even finding this village. And even if he did there was no guarantee the village elders could, or even wanted, to help him. The elf had even warned him that he might not be able to leave again as well.
On the other hand... the past few weeks spend wandering the forest hadn't been very... rewarding... either. Nor was there any reason to believe that would change any time soon. In the end he nodded his consent. "Very well Rendylwin. I shall join you in your search for home. For now anyway. As I said before, my time is much more limited then yours. So if I encounter something during our search that seems like a more promising lead for my problem, then I shall do what I must to see if it does indeed hold the solution."

Rendylwin’s suggestion to become a trio intrigued Deirdre. She had been asked to join many men, but always for a very different reason involving either a bed or the wall of an alleyway. Never before had someone considered her as a travelling partner, mainly for safety reasons (and justifiably so), but something about her seemed to generally repel people. I guess they just can’t handle my charming nature, she thought wryly. At Talwyn’s words of acceptance, she frowned thoughtfully. Although these two seem willing to. And really, why shouldn’t I go with them? Totally ignoring the part where I could potentially kill them –well, maybe not Talwyn. I doubt fang beats rock- once a month, it seems like a pretty good idea. For once my wandering would actually have a reason, and for once I could actually try to be helpful.“Well,” Deirdre sighed dramatically. “I guess I could grace you with my presence. I can’t guarantee I’ll stick around forever, and don’t be surprised if I vanish once in awhile. When I do leave you permanently I’ll probably tell you, so don’t worry too much about that.” ((omg, you can not believe how hard I fought my urge to use the wolf pack toast from The Hangover. @kymmi: Well at least you’re back now! Also, AWW SHUCKS >////< I doubt my RPing/writing skills often, so that means a lot))

Rendylwin grinned like a child who found new friends to play with. Maybe my luck will take a turn...It seems I am not as alone as I thought... He thought it could be a good thing if they all traveled together, but to be honest, he didn't think any of them would agree. He nodded in some sort of thanks. He thought to maybe think of places from them to head first, but he also didn't want to end this break so soon already.
Rendylwin let his smile fade a little. Like Tal said, Talwyn had more limited life time. That was one sort of thing that about nature that bothered Rendylwin. He didn't speak of it much, but he didn't know why other races couldn't live as long. Sure elves may have a reputation for being more peaceable, but with some, it didn't seem much the case anymore. Rendylwin tried to be a bit more polite.
"Thanks," He said to both new companions. He turned to Deirdre. "It would be an honor for you to grace us..." He said with a bit of uncertainty. For a moment, he wondered if she had any political meaning of some sort, but then ruled in the fact that this was just her way of talking.
"Would you like any help carrying anything? Though nature seems to give me a bit of a slender build, I do have strength and don't tire so easily." Rendylwin offered Talwyn. He should try to get along, even from the beginning. He was grateful to not be treated exactly like the outcast he was.

As Tal took the hook from the improvised fishing pole he scanned around the camp before looking at Rendylwin with a blank look on his face. The only thing worth taking was the hook on his fishing pole, for the rest the camp consisted of the campfire, the remains of the fish they had just eaten and the sticks they had used to roast said fish. "Well, if you can carry the campfire that'd be great." He said as he shrugged his shoulders.
He got up slowly, and as he did he used his cowl to cover his face again. Even with no destination set, it was obvious he was impatient about leaving and while he didn't say anything to rush his new companions, they most certainly would feel rushed by the air of impatience coming from him. It wasn't until after they had been walking for a minute of ten that he suddenly turned his head and asked "Anywhere in particular one of you wants to go?"

Deirdre smirked at Rendylwin’s polite response. The elf was wonderfully fun to play around with; despite the troubles he had been put through, he was still remarkably innocent. They hadn’t even started their journey and already she was picturing ways to playfully torment her companion.
Snickering at Tal’s response to the elf’s offer of help, Deirdre didn’t notice right away that he was already up and on the move. Hurriedly getting to her feet, she straightened her skirt and brushed the dirt off as she moved to a step behind his left side, thankful she didn’t have any possessions to collect for he left little chance to do so. Looking over her shoulder at Rendylwin, she raised an eyebrow and gave him a half-grin, conveying the message ‘you ready?’
They hadn’t been moving long before Talwyn broke the silence with a question, bringing her wandering mind back with a jolt. Deirdre kept her expression casual and replied, “I’ve already stated my lack of direction, so you can figure out my answer. But Rendylwin seems to be a man with a goal,” she now directed her attention to the elf, “eh Reny-pie? You want us to find your wee bonnie lass?”

((Sorry I haven't been on in forever. So much has gone on. UGGHH!!! I'm just replying just in case but if you guys have already moved on, just tell me)) "Ah," Rendylwin first said a little startled in the change of atmosphere. "Hah...ha..." He smiled and thought about his mistake. As long as I don't seem rude. For a minute everyone seemed a bit occupied with their thoughts. Rendylwin even had a few thoughts going through his head. At a sad attempt to give Deirdre a "duh" comment in return, he simply gave her the "Of course" look, with eye brows raised, a smile, and crossed arms. He still wasn't prepared for her next statement. Reny-pie's response was a jaw-drop and suddenly a bit more of the "eh?" look. He gathered himself together and laughed. He wasn't the least bit graceful for an elf. And he definitely was not a leader. "Er. If we're starting with my friend, I'd suggest finding the next closest elf village to point us in a particular direction. But if you guys have other ideas, I guess like Tal says, we could very well get to those first since I do have more than your lifetime..." Rendylwin tried to say in a casual and partly polite way.
