As she was dragged off by Anykae, Lujayn hid a self-satisfied smirk. At the very least, the one she'd sent tumbling to the forest floor would have the breath knocked out of them. Would serve them right, for spying in such a way so that others knew they were there. If one was to spy, one should keep themselves totally hidden, making not a noise nor a discernible movement. She knew about that, well enough, although she had had her own methods, being what she had been, and all...
She glanced at Anykae. She didn't seem to be doing so well. Exhaustion, maybe? She sighed. She couldn't have been caught up in a worse group.

((I've been waiting for others to post...since I just did before Anykae...I'll add one more post, but I hope others than just Krae respond in a few days...umm. Not meaning to be rude...I just wanna be a bit more active with this character. At least a post per week... =/ ))
"...H-....H-....H-hang on!!" Anykae spat out. Her world was twisting and turning. She felt exhaustion disrupting her perfect sight and thoughts. She was desperate for energy. Something to help her continue again. She felt a dull, numb pain as she dropped to her knees, as one knee hit a larger rock. Her fine eyebrows pushed towards the center of her forhead, making a light crease as she tried hard to concentrate. She squinted at the rock and made out an orange snake making it's way towards her.
There was a ringing in her mind that combined with the rattling sound. The sound brought various memories around, ones of elves playing their percussion instruments and hand held ones they shook at festivals. Anykae looked up and saw Rendylwin. Finally...you came back...why did you run? Anykae gasped and reached toward him, muttering his name. "Rendylwin..." Then she looked towards the muscisians again and saw a girl in front of them. Staring wide-eyed in wonder at her. Lujayn. Anykae forced herself into reality and realized she spaced out for just a few seconds. The snake jumped at her wrist, fangs ready to sink and poison. Anykae hurridly threw her other hand at the bottom of it's jaw. With a simple spell and able to keep a grip on the poor animal, she absorbed it's living energy, then dropped the dead thing on the ground. She stood up and took a deep breath.
"...I'm so sorry..." She worthlessly told the snake. Anykae's energy was restored, but it would not last for more than a few hours. She looked again at Lujayn and smiled sweetly.
"Sorry to keep you waiting." And again they continued after Asa.

Asa gasped when he saw the snake and his hand shot to the hilt of his sword, but he noticed Anykae had killed it and he relaxed. "Come on, you look tired we should rest soon. The forest should clear out a little soon. We could shelter in a bush," As he walked, the trees began to space out and small bushes began to appear, soon to be replaced with larger ones. When he came to a large one that had lots of space inside, he said to Anykae, "Sleep in here. I'll keep watch. What about the child?" he asked and raised one eyebrow, "Will she sleep with you or stay out here with me? Are you tired" He asked Lujayn. With that he settled down onto a tree stump and watched the area around him, waiting for something to happen. He was sure something would...it was just when.

(ah. xD I had been waiting for everyone to post before I went again, but I guess it doesn't work that way. Sorry if I made anyone else wait.)
Kai followed the main group subtly, she wanted to speak with them , at least get grounds of where -exactly- they where, but thought better of it with one girl weakened, she probably would be met with violence first.
She paid no mind to the presence that had hidden itself...writing it off as some other animal, and waited.
Finally, they set down for camp, the tired female being made to lay down while the smaller girl flitted between her and the larger brunet male...
Something seemed off about the girl, but, maybe wiht them settled, it'd be safer to approach.
Wrapping the cloak tighter about herself, she emerged from the bushes slowly, eyeing the two rather mutely.
"...it's strange to come across so many in a place like this." She commented lightly.

Veryan lingered for only a moment to catch his breath and give these travelers some time to distance themselves before returning to the hunt. Slinking down almost on all fours to keep beneath the foliage and visual obstructions to ensure he was not seen.
This time he was sure to keep his wits about him, cautious to the traveler's every move, though lingering on the other who stalked them as well... Just what is your purpose here...? He whispered to himself, muffled to not but a rustle beneath his mask. His curiosity to the woman's actions were quickly washed away as she approached the odd little group, sinking down behind a nearby oak. He rested with his back to it and closed his eyes- Ears twitching and hanging on every noise.

Lujayn watched Anykae drain the energy of the snake with faint interest. So, she wasn't a totally useless fool after all. Not that it did her much good, seeing as how she was all but falling over her own feet currently.
Asa stepped in and, of course, insisted she rest, and Lujayn just barely controlled herself from snapping at him. It wouldn't at all be good if she gave away her cover. They saw a child, and that was all they would ever see- unless she let them see more, which would be foolish.
"I do have a name, sir," she managed tersely, her temper still leaking out despite her control. "It is Lujayn. Not 'child'." She added a pout, so as to make it appear like a child's small tantrum.
And then, someone approached... within her role, she scurried behind Asa, peering out with wide green eyes.

"Sorry, Lujayn , but I did not know your name and I had to mention you, so child seemed more fitting" He said to Lujayn. He stood up and drew his sword at sight of the stranger, "Who are you," He enquired. This could be the person that had been stalking them he thought.
((Sorry for the short post- couldn't think of much to say))

Her voided, pupil-'ess eyes narrowed, becoming ice blue slits, as she eyed the sword, and then the girl behind her.
For someone that young...she had quite the mouth. The corners of her lips lifted slightly as she rolled her shoulders back, touching the tip of the sword with a finger, before admiring the way it pricked her skin.
Sharp.
"Just a traveler. " She answered Asa, long ears flicking back. "As I said...it's weird to come across so many people in a place like this, so I got curious. It's not exactly the best camping place. With the monsters and what not crawling around with the wildlife."
Kai's smile was amiable and nonchalant, but the way the ice faerie rubbed her thumb and bloody finger together spelled something.
Mischief.

(( O__O Wow thanks on the pickup guys!! Sorry I'm trying to deal with projects and school stuffs at the same time~! School's out soon! >w<))
Anykae studied Asa's face. He seemed serious and obviously wanted the best for their small group. She sighed and felt disappointment lurk in her. Anykae slowly nodded, still staring tiredly into Asa's eyes. She crawled under the bush and huddled as far as she could in it. She laid on her side, hugging her knees to her chest and shut her eyes. She cast a small detection spell in her mind, so that when she fell into her deep sleep, she may wake up immediately when something/someone near intended danger to her.
She listened to voices speaking, indentified as Asa, Lujayn, and perhaps another. Anykae was already too much into falling asleep to notice that she did not recognize the additional voice. Everything faded into nothingness. Then her dreams took over. Bringing back images of places she'd been and people she knew or even just met. The confusing mix of everything satisfied her though, since in return she gained rest.

Veryan remained silent, not a sound escaping even with his breaths as he rested, listened; Hanging on every word the travelers spoke and hoped sleep would indeed claim them before the darkness fled. To those who'd walk by, Veryan would look little more than a part of the tree's wide roots, so long as his eyes remained closed and darkness held, that is. Such a wonderful gift, this enchanter leather- able to meld into darkness and mimic the surroundings. The only problem being that he could not move, not even an inch for breath... and quite some time did it take to perfect. ((I know it's short, sorry! ))

((sorry guys...It's just it seams this thread is kinda dying and Lujayn already up and left so...I'ma go join another thread with this Charrie. Peace and may we rp again!!! =P))
Anykae woke up after obtaining the rest she needed. She didn't know what was going on with the others, but sensed Lujayn was no longer with them. She didn't feel the need to stick around and figured the others could handle the danger at hand. She needed to find him...Rendylwin. And so, she left them with small thoughts in her head hoping everything was alright.
