I didn't struggle; I knew I would not survive the fall if he were to drop me. And he was probably strong enough to put up any of my efforts. "And how do you wish me to pay you?"I responded witheringly. I was not afraid of heights; Arik and I were used to such circumstances.

I smiled inwardly, it was working. Joy. With a stiffening of the bones in my wings, I glided on a gentle current away from the pathetic gaze of the mortals below me, staring with their jaws hanging open at the winged homeless man that had just kidnapped a buxom woman. "Well, first things first, money is always nice. I like money, its shiny. But apart from that, I happenn to know of a shrine. A sea shrine, surrounded by unholy creatures a demons of the depths. Thats all well and good, but I can't swim. You fetch me the shiny things inside and you get to live, is that simple enough for you, sea witch?" I asked, a slight growl tempting the edges of my words.
My thoughts strayed to the shrine, dedicated to a long forgotten God who still watches the great seas, stolen from sight by the fury of the waves and sunk to depths no man could reach, a constant reminder to the shadowy depths of the water of the Lord that still watches, unforgiving and merciless, without pity. Legends of great items bestowing the weilder with unholy strength tempted weak humans to their deptyhs in the catacombs of the temple, a blood sacrifice to a spiteful God, rotting in the depths of the Void.
"This will be fun..." I thought to myself.
{OOC: Sorry for the late reply, was busy slaughtering a herd of monkeys. ^^}

I nearly laughed out loud. "Give me some credit. My life for so simple a mission?"I remarked, smiling slightly. He could kill me, but he couldn't swim.

Rolling my eyes, I gave a disgruntled sigh. "I thought that being a lesser human you'd have a little more sense and a little less arrogance. I was apparently wrong. So listen very carefully. You'll do as I say, or I won't stop with your life. I am no simple mortal, I am barely mortal as it is. No, my destiny is far greater. Refuse my wishes and I will hunt down each and every one of your kind and send orders for their death. Trust me when I say I am not one to be trifled with, nor are my...acquaintances. So do us both a favor and be quiet. You bring me the Sea Lords relic and I leave your limbs in tact, at least for the most part." I said, finishing with a dark hiss. I kept my sword in hand, this insolent fool was less dull then she appeared. She would bleed easily, but silence would not come so swift without assistance. {OOC: You're not making this easy you know. }

(Caspian does not lie down and take things easily XD)
I smiled. "Have it your way,"I said easily, before demonstrating a little of my own power. I murmured a small incantation and let the magic do its work. Soon Arik would hear my call and come to my aid. "But, be aware, if you harm me, though you think yourself powerful, though you cite acquaintances as a threat, be aware that I have many friends and many followers spread throughout the land, and you would most certainly be challenged were you to hurt me,"I said sweetly. I had battalions on my side, I had the ocean, the dragons, the Cymrans, the wolves, the deer. He might be powerful, but if he were to hurt me, I like to think there'd be repercussions. I hope, anyway. "So, all you need is some shiny rock and I can leave?"I asked, my voice bored. "However, I have one query. What does it do?"

I rolled my eyes, this was almost pathetic. I made a simple offer and, like any regular mortal, her ego inflates and her doom is sealed. Typical. "I enjoy a challenge, witch. It would almost be worth it to slice your throat right now and slaughter your friends, but no. That would attract unwanted attention. As for this stone, it is a simple bargaining tool for something greater that I lost a long time ago to an old foe. Was the temple not swallowed by the ocean I would retrieve it myself, but instead I am forced to stay my hand from the lust of blood to pursue a more diplomatic method, albeit violent it is" he said, finishing as he looked away, their flight ended by the appearance of the great water.
Looking across the vast expanse of water, I vaguely remembered the direction to take, if only I could find the damned marker. "Damn it, where is it..."

I smiled. "Such arrogance. No-one is invincible. But, that is besides the point. I should be able to retrieve it easily enough. Any monsters, guardians, etcetera that I should deal with?"I asked, my voice brightening as I spotted the shimmer of Arik jack-knifing through the clouds and skim the waves before rising to meet us. His golden eyes were fiery, bronze and ivory scales rippling as he let out a hiss. "Meet Arik. I will retrieve this object for you, but you must hand me over to him," I stated easily, "He's a very useful creature. Sea dragons tend to be. He'll help too. Arik growled. I could tell he didn't like the idea of assisting my captor, but he knew it was the only way to get me free.

My lips curved into a smile, sea dragons. How...cliche. Slightly impressed by the witches resourcefulness, I shrugged my shoulders and dropped her from my grasp, hovering above the watery beast with the barest hint of malice in my eyes. My wings flapped silently around me as I scanned the area for a perch. Finding a wide outcrop of rocks not too far away, I glided slowly towards them, my eyes locked on the dragon and the freed Cecelia. Hunched on the rocks as the waves crashed against them, I watched the pair depart, my senses homing in on my own scent, lingering on the woman, and on the Dragons aura. He might have been an unexpected arrival but he would prove useful to keep track of their whereabouts.
{OOC: I'm starting full time work soon so I might be late on replies, i.e only on the rare weekend. =S}

Arik caught me easily, his beauitful serpentine shape swift and aggressive as he moved about the demon, but surprisingly elegant, lithe and beauitful. He looped a few times to show his appreciation at my return and rose to glide by the side of my former captor. "Lead the way,"I offered.
