Len chuckled. "Fish would definately have no natural way of getting into here..." And then be began to tahe the belt of stuff off of his waist. If the water was as cold as Saira said it was, the materials wouldn't cope well with the cold at all. Get that off, since a couple of things don't smile on the cold... "...Speaking of irregular, I'd find it odd if someday, we managed to inherit the ability to mentally communicate to each other from Sarora... It'd certainly be interesting..." Though I'd probably slip up half a million times, since I do hit the gutter a bit often in here...

Saira mulled that over. It certainly would be possible, she knew that much. But with Len still new at mindspeak, enough that Sarora was still forced to close her link to Len at least partway to shut out his thoughts, it might start the raging headaches. Then, it might not. He hadn't exactly reacted like she thought he would to, well, anything so far.
Could it be done? Everything would have to go through Sarora of course, at least at first, and it would leave them both painfully vulnerable to the other's thoughts for the duration of the conversation, as well as Sarora's; and theirs to her.
Sarora, She thought to the waiting dragon. Would it be possible, if you took the partial block from Len's mind, for me to speak directly to him through you? She asked. The dragon was silent for a long moment. Possible. Though, you know how I would feel about knowing every single thought that passes between you two. I know. Hypothetically speaking, however... Well, neither of you have totally blocked their link to me, so I guess so. She could hear the hesitation behind the thought. It won't be much different than you speaking to one of us alone; it would just be us speaking to each other, and you would have to lift any blocks - partial or whole - you have." Sarora hesitated a second. Think of it like this - In times of emergency, it could prove useful, even life saving. That got through to the dragon. That is true. Talk to Len, see what he thinks. He might not be so keen on me - or you - pretty much being inside the other's head until I replace the Partial on Len's link, and possible yours, depending on how it works out.
"It is possible," She said to Len after a time, and explained the list of conditions that would go with it. "It would get easier after a time, I'm sure," She added, almost as an afterthought.

Len blinked. "Seriously? That's... ...a bit of a sobering thought for Sarora, but there's great advantages for it, I'm sure." With ups, come downs. "If we could do such a thing first, I'd await Sarora's consent. I'm still not sure of she's completely kosher with me or not, and she isn't, I'd wait however long. If she is, I see no real massive issue." And then he actually projected to Sarora, clearer than most of his messages. Sarora, I have heard that it is possible, using you as the medium, to allow Saira and I to communicate on the thought-speech level. However, if this is a massive strain to you, I would prefer not to use it casually. I wish your insight in this matter before I unknowningly dig a massive rut.

Sarora shook her massive head from outside of the cave. It will be no strain. Just...uncomfortable. She thought of how to explain this. As Saira explained, she would know every single thing you think. It would be the same way with me. I could hear your every passing thought, Fancy, whim, feeling, until the block is replaced. The only difference would be that I can keep my mind blocked from both of you if I wish, so I could hear you, but you could hear me no better than you can regularly.
The dragon really didn't like the idea. She could tell from the feelings and ideas he leaked when he first mindspoke to her - he wasn't untrustworthy, not that she could tell. Of course, it was her nature to be mistrustful, which was the reason she kept her own mind blocked - she was not yes comfortable with Len knowing exactly what she was feeling. but that was not the reason for her apprehension. Being that close to someone's consciousness, that intimate to their mind was something altogether different. That was something not even shared among other Ice Dragons, unless the two were a bonded pair or immediate family - father and mother or children.
However, that could be ignored. She agreed with Saira - it could be useful, and after all, it wouldn't be like that all of the time. And, if both humans consented, it wasn't like she was invading unwilling minds.
I will act as a medium, if neither of you mind the conditions, she said finally. Len, no rut will be dug - if I thought it would cause a rift, I would not allow you both to try it. She wondered how Saira would cope with the sudden mindlink with someone else. It had taken her a while to get used to it the first time, and a second time might be easier. But with Len, it would be a whole new experience. If she had to guess, she'd say Len had never been in full contact - with both sides completely open to the other. It might come as a shock. But, if that was a risk they were both willing to take, who was she to advise against anything?

That's fair enough, Sarora. As long as we all fully understand the conditions to ourselves and each other, then I'm kosher; because one thing I dislike most among any true ally is acting against another's wishes and end goal. His voice sounded a little more stern than usual, almost as if it was a second face - though it wasn't. Evidently, Len hadn't caught the fact that Sarora connected them already. Whenever you so wish, Sarora. For ill or favour, I cannot back down now.

Sarora nodded. After a seconds hesitation, she lifted all blocks from Len's mindlink.
Saira. Find his link that is connected to my mind, The dragon instructed. Saira complied, searching the dragon's thoughts for anything different. Once she found it - just a small pinpoint of thought among Sarora's own - she grasped hold if it - and was completely shocked. It was far stranger than Sarora had described, almost as if she was two people at once. It was distracting - very distracting - to have that many minds to focus on, with Sarora there in the back of her mind as well. It almost felt like an invasion of privacy, though she knew they both understood that is was going to be that way. She tried, and failed, to keep her thoughts level. racing thoughts would be too much for either of them to handle.
Len...Can you hear me? She sent the thought drifting down the line. Being connected to him, she had no doubt that he couldn't, but it seemed the appropriate thing to say. Try it the other way. Say...think...something.

Len smirked. Loud and clear. And unlike Saira, his was more collected. And now that the link had established, he seemed to close the two together, aloowing less 'slipped' thought to pass when undesired. It could be heard if one was listening, but if one wasn't, it was tricky to catch. You might want to mellow out a bit, first. If error occurs, it occurs - it's not as if it was a big deal. Heck, Sarora would be the only one making a big deal if we screwed something up, really... And his thoughts paused as he thought of something. We're acting like kids to Sarora; probably something close to 'spoiled brats', if I'm guessing right... "Just so you know, Saira, you'll have to be ready to take things on many different levels at once, so you can easily adapt both kinds of information. Because I'll never blend the two regions without a reason." It was odd, how his thoughts went one way, speech-wise, and his words went a different direction.
Len's thoughts are serious, yet comical. Also, hitting the AWOL status, expect absence until Mon. or Tues.

Sarora didn't reply to Len's comment, not wanting to break the connection between the two. Actually, she was doing what she could to ignore the conversation, rather unsuccessfully. It was rather like having two people shouting at you, but with feelings and emotions to go along with it.
Saira managed to get all three minds sorted out. Sarora stayed quiet and in the back of her mind, so that wasn't so hard. Allright. Obviously it works, She thought, unable to hide her grin. Once the connection was firmly established, it wasn't so hard to ignore the slipped thoughts either of them sent over. Stronger thoughts were heard over softer ones, of course, which was nothing different.
Go through into the water-filled chamber, like you were going to before, She said. We'll see if it can work through things. Their range might not be so strong, since it was so new. Best way to find out was to try
(That's fine : ) ))

Len sighed on the thought plane. Sarora, should you ever feel the need to interject, you may. I'll not limit you. Saira, that was my next item in my plan. I'll remain connected for now, while I try to go in. And then Len jumped into the small crevice, crawling down, and comeing out upon this mini-lake. Upon hitting the water, he re-positionned his upper body, allowing it so that as soon as he hit the bottom, he could flip himself over. He touched, and flipped, getting to his feet. The water was a little warmer than he expected, though still quite cold. I'm in. It's possible to make this into a sort of hot bath down here, but I'm sure Sarora would object, calling it unfair. It's also not really that cold...

Sarora snorted. Than I shall. It would be in no way unfair - For one, a hot bath is the last thing an ice dragon would want, aside from being stranded in a desert. Two, the river out here empties into a rather large, cold lake. Saira smiled. Obviously, the dragon had done some searching of her own.
She clawed her way into the hole, inching forewords enough so she could see into the pool of water. She didn't jump in, but stretched an arm down to touch the surface of the water. It did seem warmer, actually, but it was still not something she'd willingly go into. Maybe it was just the shock last time of landing in it. She hesitated, not particularly pleased with the idea of getting soaked again - her clothes would take forever to dry - but if he could make it warm....
"Can you?" She asked aloud, for Sarora had replaced the block. ('can't have you both getting mindstrain - and it'll happen whether you realize it or not. You both can practice later, when you have more space to test distances,' she'd said.)

Len smirked. "I'd have to go back and get the stuff. If you want to slightly gear down, that's fine by me. You'll also have to endure a slightly offensive smell for about five seconds while the reaction settles down a little. Once that's over with, we're fine to bathe. But I still have to go back." And he waited - patiently - for Saira to either back up and out, or come in, and hit the water.

Saira thought this over. They weren't that far away, and it would be nice to stop for a bit. They had the time - not being chased, or attacked, or annything of that sort.
"Allright," She said, backing out of the hole - which was far more difficult than going forewords. Really, neither of them had realy touched water since it rained last and other than to drink, and she wasn't counting rain as a bath, especally since they had been mostly sheltered from it. She rather wondered how the water got into the cave in the first place, really.

Len soon got himself into the hole, managing through it with some - though little - trouble, as he went through his backpack, and plucked out one... ...two... ...three vials. He put them between his fingers, closing his hand lightly as he soon climbed back in. Once he managed to poke his head out, and then his arms, it was no problem to pop open thre three vials, and mix them all into one before dropping the vial into the water. the reaction did stink things up for a few seconds, but Saira wouldn't get much - if any - of the scent.
The water bubbled quite a bit where the vial went in, and by luck of depth, the vial didn't break, but it still hit bottom. After a few, the water began to steam at more places, indicating that the water was nicely warmed. Probably with a few hotspots unless they splashed around, but that allowed the people within to find their comfort spot. Len would have to crawl all the way in to get to speak back to Saira, since sound didn't pass nicely without air. He crawled all the way in, and made a small splash, managing to save himself from breaking any of the vials. He picked up the third vial before letting his legs hit the water as well, which allowed him to stand. "Alright, we're goo-- AYE! Hotspot! Moving! Moving...! ...Alright, I'm good..."

Saira waited outside of the hole as Len returned to the inside of the cavernous area with three vials. She wondered what was in them that could make the water hot, but asking would be impossible at present.
Then he disappeared inside, and she followed, again reaching a hand down. The water was hot, but not scalding. She wormed the rest of the way through and took off her cloak, depositing it in the mouth of the entrance hole. She waded in up to her knees, preferring to go slowly and savor the heat than go in all at once.
"I don't know what you did, but I must say, what ever it was I'm grateful. I don't usually mind cold water - Gods know I had to live in the snow for long enough I got used to it - but still, hot water is much nicer." She looked down to the bottom of the water, which was relatively clear. "But the bottom doesn't seem to hold many rocks or anything that you're looking for."

Len shrugged. "Meh. Maybe the next cavern, then. Can't expect to have everything go you way all the time, can you? Anyhow, yeah. I was lucky to have the components with me - though I'll need more, now... But I made this for relaxation..." And with that note, he laid back, soon floating on the surface of the water. His clothes helped him float, surprisingly. He sighed of some sort of relief.
