Anykae twitched at the sound of the roaring beast and Oswin yelling at it. Anykae finally let the situation totally sink in and she exhaled. She rubbed the side of her head. It seemed Brandus and Oswin weren't sure either.
"Ahhh....I see. Don't worry about it. It's only curiousity." She answered respectfully. She grinned. "I'm kinda excited to see how this will go. Not that I'll participate, but I can finally see you two demonstrate your power you talk so highly of."
"Good luck," She told them politely, staring at the demon. Anykae pondered some more. If they do have feelings, they aren't nescessarily evil, are they? Well. Maybe I can ask an expert....a different expert someday. She thought, considering Oswin and Brandus experts enough. Suddenly she thought about Shuzgub earlier and a horrifying thought found it's way into her mind. She pictured what would happen if Bazgáhrk were drunk off human food.
"Oh my....." She trailed off on the thought, still staring hopelessly at the creature before her.

The rest of the walk to the village was rather uneventful. Oswin still seemed unsure on whether or not to say whatever it was he had been wanting to say earlier, and Brandus seemed content to walk in silence though he did hum a little tune. Even Bazgáhrk had left them so he wouldn't be spotted together with them.
When they reached the village, Brandus asked for directions to the inn and after they found it, Oswin asked for three separate rooms, two ales and dinner for three. Sitting down, Oswin took some book from the travel sack and started reading, while Brandus joined a couple of men that where playing cards leaving Anykae to her own devices.
When their dinner was brought, Oswin put aside his book and started eating. The food wasn't bad, but nothing to extraordinary either. Still he seemed to brood over whatever it was that he wanted to say earlier and when he finally opened his mouth to speak it was obvious he still hadn't reached a conclusion. "So, Anykae, is this your first time in a human settlement?"

Anykae didn't say much along the road. In fact it was a bit awkward. She also found herself thankful for having time to unwind the whirlwind of events she experienced. She smiled, satisfied with the little bit of adventure and order she found. Somehow it was all comforting and she didn't feel so alone.
When Brandus left to play cards and Oswin read his book, Anykae decided to occupy herself as well. She reached into a small bag at her side and took out three small cubes consisting of different parts. She took them apart and made various shapes out of them, mostly looking like small symbolic animals.
Anykae took the animals apart and made other animals. Then took them apart to make a boat like shape. She kept making various things from the shapes, trying to go faster and faster each time while staying as quiet as possible. Now and then she glanced at Oswin, trying to figure out if the book was interesting or just a way to pass the time. She also took a look at Brandus, wondering what was so fun about throwing cards around. For herself, this was one of her favorite elven puzzle games, not that she liked many.
Anykae poked the food that was brought to her. It was strange to her and tasted funny. Can't be too picky... She ate what was in front of her slowly. She found she especially hated the onions and picked them out of the side salad she ordered.
"Ah well. Yes actually. My mother never took me to see my relatives because she wasn't permitted to leave." She answered forgetting she never said she was only half-elf. "It seems more open than my village. I sorta like that part...Though it does seem less relaxed and more stress to work hard here...." Anykae answered, forming her opinion about this village. In her village, your work was your passion and hobby. You put your heart into it and never looked down on it.

Bazgáhrk was enjoying himself... well as much as possible within the restrictions the warlock had set. Despite it's size and bulk, the demon could move very silently if it wished and if it stood completely still he could even phase out of sight completely. Which he did just now to avoid being spotted. It took all of his willpower to not strike down the man walking right past him. But fear of the warlock made sure he did as he was told.
He hated Oswin. The first, and only, time he had went against Oswin's orders, even if it was but slightly, was also the only time the demon had known true despair. No, the warlock had made it quite clear back then. The only reason he hadn't destroyed Bazgáhrk was because it was but a minor offense and as such it was easier to show Bazgáhrk that Oswin would make good on his threats then it was to summon and enslave and another felguard. It had taken him months to recover... Months of fearing for his life in the demon realm as he recovered from his injuries... no he would not go against his orders again.
Either way, compared to his own plane of existence, this one was abundant in life energy. Even the grass he was standing in was a feast of energy, as was the pack of wolves he found. Oswin had never mentioned anything about wild animals and thus he had revelled in the carnage he wrecked upon the pack and feasted on their flesh.
Noticing the setting sun however, he cut his dinner short and headed for the village making sure he would be ready for nightfall. Who knows what the warlock would do to him if he wasn't.
Listening to Anykae's comparison of the village they were in and her own while he was eating, Oswin nodded and grunted from time to time to show he was listening to her. "Well, I'd say that's because for most humans they need that work. It's how they earn their income." He pointed at one of the waitresses.
"That woman for example, does not like her job. You can easily tell. If she could do anything else to earn the money she needed to live she would." He pointed to another of the waitresses."That handsome looking waitress on the other hand, is obviously enjoying herself. Look at how she lingers with the guests, making small-talk, laughing at their jokes. Well, either that or she is looking for err... 'an extra job' after her shift is over."
After dinner was over, Brandus found yet another game of cards to join and Oswin ordered another ale and grabbed a deck of cards himself. Shuffling the deck he passed 9 cards to Anykae and 9 to himself and tossed the rest back on the table. Quickly explaining the rules, he started off asking if she had any two's and got told to go fish.
Several games later, their game got interrupted by a thunderous roar. "About bloody time, I was losing again..." Oswin muttered as he rose to run out with the other patrons. Cries of monster and demon could be heard. Carrying himself with an air of authority, Oswin walked over to an important looking man. "What is going on?" The man looked pale as he answered. "I don't know! Some sort of monster is attacking my village!"
"Ah, so you're the mayor then?" Oswin asked. "Yes, and who are you?" Pointing at Brandus, Oswin introduced them. "I am Oswin, and this is my companion Brandus. I am a travelling mage on a quest of vengeance. A powerful sorcerer has killed my family using enslaved demons. So I have been training to fight them. Brandus makes sure I don't get killed by bandits." The mayor looked relieved. "THANK THE MAKER! Can you save us? I shall reward you with 50 gold pieces if you do!"
"Are your people worth so little to you?" Oswin asked with a sly grin. "You would take advantage of the situation?" The mayor asked dumbfounded. "Well, as they say necessity drives a hard bargain." A slight tone of anger crept in the mayors voice. "Very well... 100 gold pieces then" A sparkle appeared in Oswin's eyes. "You want it gone before or after it destroys your village?"

Anykae laughed. Quickly catching on to the game. It was a strange one, unlike anything she's ever played with. Hmm. So I have a bit of luck afterall! She grinned. "Go fish!" She exclaimed proudly again. She liked this fishy game. I should teach Rendylwin this when we meet! Oswin seemed almost a bit annoyed with the game however.
"Oh my...here we go..." She muttered as Oswin and Brandus took off. She still had her drink left over and took a sip of this. Out of all things, I like their juice the best.... She thought about Oswin's words and knowledge about humans. Another job...? How odd.... She curiously stared at the handsome waitress, wondering what kind of job she also had. "Maybe an actress!" She exclaimed under her breath.
"I should ask her about human plays when she is less busy." Anykae grinned innocently. She got up to get closer to a window, getting a look at Oswin, hoping to see some of his powers. She sipped on her juice hoping to see some action.

Anabelle soared the skies on the back of her long-loved wyvern, Ryusaelith. She sighed. Today was as boring as ever, she had been traveling above the forest, looking for a village where perhaps she could make a bit of money. She stretched herself on the wyvern's back, ignoring his snort of warning. "Relax...No doubt you'd catch me if I fell. Tell me if you see a village..." Ryusaelith growled very low, disapproving of her actions. She ignored him again.
Ryusaelith decided to let it go. He could fly freely for now anyway. He flew in a straight path, but looked around and sensed the wind for any odd occurrences, like smoke from a house, yet he sense nothing concerning a village. "Gr-oww?" He sounded at the sound of a roar. Anabelle sat straight up in a flash, Ryusaelith growled a bit louder. "What in the name of hickory-thingyory?!" She shouted. She grinned. Adventure called.
"You know the drill, c'mon. Where'd the noise come from?" She said, tapping the poor wyvern's head. He snorted, and changed paths, whizzing towards the sound. Anabelle sat forward, holding on for dear life. The wyvern wanted to slow down, but knew Anabelle would grow impatient and stubborn. He would've called her a spoiled child if he could talk.
"Ya-hoo!" She called, spiraling to the earth next to Oswin. "Oy pops. What's happening here?" She asked cheerfully. She jumped up off the grumpy wyvern, who didn't even like her talking to strangers, especially older strange men. Ryusaelith growled as a warning. "Oh hush! I could easily slash him to bits if the need called." She drew out her sword. "Pish posh and applesauce. One of you gran'pa's direct me to that roar if you will. I desire entertainment, you can only travel so much~!" She exclaimed rashly. She stretched her arms and legs, preparing to save civilians and earn a reward. "I require reward kind sirs as well!"
The mayor looked at the characters before him. One was a girl, but had a sword and dragon, looked like she had a bit of training. The other was an older guy, obviously much more experienced, but was taking advantage of the situation. He made somewhat of a groaning sound. "...would...would you work for 50 gold pieces?" He asked, stuttering. Anabelle laughed. "That should do just hunky dory mister!" The mayor looked at Oswin. "But..oh..just...whoever defeats it will get the reward." He mumbled. Anabelle frowned and glared at Oswin. "You're planning on stealing my hard-earned money? I'm just a small girl for mother of nature's sake!" She sneered at him.

Oswin's eye started twitching as he looked down upon the red haired girl that had just descended from the sky. "Pops? Gran'pa?" When the mayor offered her the job Oswin simply exploded and his voice was a whole octave higher then normal. "WHAT!? You wish to let the fate of your people be decided by a little girl that has delusions of grandeur?" The mayor looked at him sheepishly. "W-well she has a dragon." Pointing at the wyvern Oswin's voice got higher and higher.
"A DRAGON? That is no dragon! It's only a wyvern. And a very small one at that. AND YOU!" He whirled at the girl again. "Stealing your hard earned money? I see no defeated demon as of yet little girl and what was that about slashing me to bits eh? EH!? Don't you know who I am? You'd do well to show some more respect. Now how about you get your sorry little ass into that inn and out of danger and let me do my job!"
His face was red, his eyes looked furious and if humans where capable of it, steam would be coming out of his ears. He relaxed a bit when Brandus placed a hand on his shoulder. His sword had been unsheathed and considering his position, any attack towards Oswin the girl might have attempted would most certainly have been deflected by the swordsman. Seriously though, this was getting out of hand. Not only was she ruining the plan, she wasn't paying Oswin the respect he felt he was due. Nothing made the warlock angrier then that.
Before he could say anything however, Bazgáhrk appeared and let out another roar causing everyone, except for Brandus, the girl and Oswin to scatter. "Oswin, we'd better get ready." He said in a further attempt to calm down the warlock. Crossing his arms, the warlock started pouting like a child. "Peh! If they don't wish to reward me well I see no need to use spells that require expensive components. Let them see what happens when an AMATEUR tries a professionals job."
He raised his voiced in anger again so that Bazgáhrk could also hear him. "Besides, I don't care what happens to a little obnoxious brat that refuses to show any sort of respect where it's due. You hear me! I! DON'T! CARE!" Roaring in delight, Bazgáhrk lunged for the girl. Appereantly the warlock thought it was okay to kill this one, he'd better do it fast before the ever whimsical warlock would change his mind.

Anykae gasped. "Oh that poor little thing! She only looks 13 or so! KYAA!! What are they saying! What is she thinking?!" Anykae rubbed her hands over her head. She paced back and forth. She fretted, worrying about the 'child.' " Oh no! I told myself I wouldn't get involved..." She looked outside again, pressing her hands against the cool glass.
"Hey what was that?" "I dunno..." "Sounded like a monster!" "Honey please stay inside!" and other voices kept talking while the crowd all pressed themselves against the windows themselves. Anykae found herself trapped against the window by a nervous crowd. HUMANS!!!! GAH! Oh come on...Now I can't do anything! Ackkkkk..... She tried pushing against the crowd and found herself stuck in the middle of a stubborn crowd that refuge to budge.
"Ahhh..." She couldn't get through. Anykae refused to use her strength to get by either. "They mean me no harm." She whispered. She tried her best to keep her balance through the huddling the crowd. Please oh please oh please! She thought just hoping for the best.

"Oh boo! Old men are so fussy these days." She waved her hand in the sort of I-don't-know-what-you-mean-but-who-gives? sort of expression. Anabelle raised her eyebrows. "What happens to me?" She asked pondering his choice of words. Ryusaelith growled at the ready to defend Brandus. Apparently he didn't like old men either. Anabelle looked at the creature-beast, grinning all the while. To her, it was a game, not that it would be easy, but it was a challenge that could satisfy her cravings.
"For the record, I wouldn't shed a tear if the thing ripped you apart in front of me." She laughed coldly, yet truthfully. Anabelle made a straight face when she noticed the demon was already coming for her. What in the....attack me first? She jumped and ran to dodge the enemy's jab at her. It barely missed, making a dent in the hard ground. Ryusaelith was already flying towards her and she jumped on the wyvern's back skillfully, having made this stunt many more than a few times.
In a flash, the wyvern flew towards the beast, dodging with ease as it's small body allowed it to do so. Anabelle jumped off at it's head and made an attempt to stab it's eye. The demon however thrashed about too much and Anabelle found herself sliding down it's back. She stabbed it in the left side of its lower back and hung on tightly, trying to ignore the force that swung her body wildly until Ryusaelith came by to pick her up again. She jumped off, with a strange colored bloody sword and flew toward the sky. The slash looked only like a paper cut. One thing was for sure, the beast wouldn't take a liking to her either. She started to plan her next attack.

Brandus and Oswin jumped aside when Bazgáhrk lunged at the girl standing next to them. Oswin was obviously still pouting and being childish but the look in Brandus eyes was one of appreciation. He let out a whistle when pulled her bloodied sword out of the demon's back. "She's pretty good don't you think Oswin? I doubt she can beat that thing, but give her a few more years and she can take my place as your protector and guide."
At that, Oswin looked surprised. Brandus was a friendly fellow, but he was never one to give compliments idly. The girl's skill must have really made an impression on the old swordsman. "Bah, as if. She is rude and obnoxious." The warlock snorted as he took a closer look at the girl. Brandus however merely chuckled. "Was I so different? I believe we met because I was trying to pick your pockets old friend." Before Oswin could reply however, they got interrupted by the mayor.
"A-aren't you going to help her?" He was obviously trying to be braver than he truly was. "Help her? She thinks she can beat a felguard on her own so let her see the folly of her disrespectful ways first. I am not lifting a finger until she is either dead or apologizes and begs me for my help. Besides even if I wished to help the brat, with all the magical energy that thing has, using spells at this point is pretty pointless as it'll have more trouble with batting aside a fly than a spell. It needs to be weakened before spells are going to do any good."
Bazgáhrk roared in anger when the girl stabbed him. Even if he hadn't decided to try and kill the girl before the warlock changed his mind, he was now so enraged he lost sight of everything other then Anabelle and her wyvern. The wound wasn't very deep, nor magical so regenerating it was a small matter that did not cost a lot of energy. Opening his mouth, he drew back his head as if taking a deep breath. Green energy appeared in the back of his throat and with a deafening roar a bolt of green flames flew into the sky aimed at Ryusaelith, just barely missing the wyvern. Roaring in anger, the demon started firing bolt after bolt, causing the mayor to cower in fear.
"M-m-make it stop! P-please!" The man cried as one of the bolts soared close enough to a roof to set it on fire. Oswin started chanting and quickly erected a barrier to shield the mayor, Brandus and himself from stray bolts of fire. "My my, I'd say the little brat ticked it off don't you think Brandus? See, this is exactly why you should leave this to a professional. Anyone that knows a thing or two about these things knows that flying away from it after wounding it will only cause it to start going on a rampage." The mayor looked absolutely desperate now. "P-p-please help her stop it."
Sadly for him, Oswin wasn't paying attention to the man. Instead, he was searching his memory's for a certain spell. Finally remembering it, he started chanting and as he finished a bolt of silver energy fired from his hands towards the burning roof, where it started swirling and slowly transformed into a cloud. After the cloud was formed, rain started pouring from it quickly extinguishing the flames.

Nervousness crept at her through every angle. Anykae found herself holding her breath at the 'oh's' and 'ah's' the crowd made. "Oh gosh....." She finally pushed through the people and headed right to the door where someone seemed to guard it. A strong tall middle-aged man stood before her.
"For the good of everyone, please stay away until the issue is solved." He instructed in a deep voice. Anykae was ticked. She just made her way through an awfully energetic crowd and even lost her juice. Her eyes narrowed cooly.
"Please....move." She ordered, patiently. He let out somewhat of a laugh and shook his head in disbelief. Anykae sighed. She drew her sword and pointed it at him.
"For the good of your life, please move. I have some comrades out there that require my help." Anykae demanded, strongly. Her eyebrows furrowed seriously. I need to get out there... The man cackled and folded his arms.
"I know your type. You wouldn't hurt a fly, but if you're looking for some extra cash-" "I'm not an actress." "'Scuse me?" "I can't act for you."
This time the man grew serious.
"You're saying something is wrong with me?" "What? Okay. Seriously." Anykae was a step passed ticked and a foot behind clueless. She faked right and spun left gracefully and jabbed him hard in the side with the sword's hilt. "Never underestimate me. I'm stronger than I appear." She hissed. Anykae threw her leg behind his knees and he crashed down on his behind. She snickered and headed for the door, only to trip herself finding her thin ankle in his grasp. He growled in embarrassment. Anykae swung her free leg against his head and knocked him out.
"Feh." She muttered. She noticed the only witness was a waitress who didn't seem to mind much. Anykae stood up and walked out the door, then making a dash to Oswin just in time for the rain. She observed the scene without speaking. What in the world is with this mess? She worriedly glanced over to Oswin and Brandus. Oswin looked somewhat annoyed and Brandus looked oddly proud...or what was that expression? Anykae sighed.
"You two! This is rude! She probably thinks that she's actually going to die!" She cried. The mayor seemed too occupied in his worries to think about how she said that.

"Gah!" Anabelle and Ryusaelith observed the creature taking in a deep breath. Ryusaelith knew only too well how this possibly related to fire breathing. He dodged the fiery bolts with slight skill. Anabelle looked on the beast trying to find the cut she made. "Blast!" She murmured, not quite happy now realizing the demon's regenerating power. She groaned. "I anticipated this might've been a bit easier...." Anabelle said. Ryusaelith automatically growled unthreatingly in agreeance. She glared at her wyvern, though he didn't need to look to know that.
Anabelle looked to the middle-aged men who she didn't consider very likable so far. At least one of them for the most part. A girl with light blue hair had run out and seemed to be making a fuss over something. Anabelle's eyes narrowed, observing the situation as her wyvern growled a bit louder. It didn't mind the dodging, but Anabelle could feel Ryusaelith's hatred of the rain now falling. This connection almost made her feel the same hate, but in reality she slightly found it calming. Now was not the time to be calm.
Anabelle looked at the angry demon and observed it. The thing's wild attacks would make it difficult to hit, but Anabelle desired to know just how far this regeneration power it had could go. "Ryusaelith...." She murmured to him. He knew what to do but hesitated. "I know...we'll have to get closer to prevent your flames from being extinguished, but we aren't attacking like that." She grinned, excited to try this new combo she thought up. "Go."
Ryusaelith dived towards the demon, flying in an unorderly fashion of patterns and directions. Not only was this for dodging the thing, it was to distract the creature from thinking about what they could be doing. Suddenly, Ryusaelith flew to the ground and bolted in a spiral around the demon in an upward direction. The wyvern blew a stream of fire the whole way, causing a dense mixture of smoke and steam in the pounding rain. It continued flying rider-less beyond the reach of the beast. Anabelle took her chance on the ground and ran in a charge towards where she remembered the demon was. She unsheathed her sword as she found it's leg and stabbed it, then drew her sword in an upward motion until it was free again. This jab had been much deeper than the first with the time she earned herself. By now the mist-like gas was mostly clear. Anabelle darted towards the men and the girl watching for Ryusaelith to find her and pick her back up. It was the only tactic she could think of using: hit and run. She finally spotted the wyvern recognizing her and flying back.
In an instant, Anabelle found herself hurdling through the air, followed by a tearing in her left arm. She yelped at the cut on her and threw her right arm in front of herself in an effort to protect herself at the ground she it. Her body skidded to a stop and she lay still, stunned at the unexpected attack. Her bare skin on her arms showed a few scrapes and she was sure her legs were at least bruised. Anabelle managed to scoot against a wall, breathing heavy still. Her right arm shakily reached into one of her pockets and she pulled out a bandage like material and begun wrapping her left arm slowly, but as quick as she could. Miracle I didn't hit my head. Anabelle stared up in fear, noticing her wyvern desperately trying to get to her before the demon could attack again. Leaning against the wall, she attempted to stand, but dropped to her knees with a gasp. Her left ankle felt like a strong slash from a some sword when she put pressure on it. "Ugh!" She cried out and swore. "I....I can't go like this." She said, looking at the demon's face fiercely. She looked to her left, her sword being several feet away. "Need..." Anabelle bit her lip before finishing her sentence. In mad effort, she awkwardly scooted and crawled towards her sword. C'MON! It's not that far....

"Oh hush girl." Oswin snapped back at Anykae. "It was her own choice and thus her own fault. Besides, why aren't you at the inn where it's safe?" The demon let out another roar as if to help Oswin prove his point. Brandus however, merely smiled at the girl. "She is right Oswin, we have to help her before things go out of control."
Looking at his friend, he looked a tad surprised. "Why is everyone against me today? Look, the foolish girl brought this on herself." Shaking his head Brandus turned to Anykae again. "Oswin's toe's are easily stepped on I fear." He whispered.
Enraged by yet another cut Bazgáhrk finally managed to hit the girl, causing her to fly through the air. As the girl tried to reach her blade, Bazgáhrk lunged at her but missed because Brandus had decided that enough was enough. He jumped in and shoved the girl aside while barely avoiding the demon's attack. Continuing to dance around Bazgáhrk's attacks he slashed and stabbed at every opening. "Oswin!" He shouted. "Stop dilly-dallying and help me already. You have made your point now get over yourself."
With a heavy sigh Oswin relented. "Fine, fine. But the brat better apologize after this." Waving with his hands, the next words he spoke reverbed with power. "Semper sit amet imperdiet a. Nullam ac sagittis justo!" Glowing orbs of blue light appeared and shot out towards Bazgáhrk who grunted upon impact. The demon was given no respite however as the distraction was all Brandus needed to thrust his blade deep into the demonic flesh. He immediately pulled the blade out again and jumped aside to dodge a new attack.
"Duis feugiat pulvinar erat, sit amet vehicula mi porttitor vitae. Sed mollis egestas ipsum ut pellentesque. Quisque quis feugiat tellus. Pellentesque commodo, purus nec eleifend sodales, augue quam malesuada felis, non tincidunt neque dolor non libero!" Following the incantation, Oswin pointed at Bazgáhrk and an invisible wave of energy collided with the demon who cried out in pain.
Looking at the mayor with a satisfied look in his eyes he at least had the decency to keep quiet, but words were not necessary to see what he was trying to say. "See? You should have just hired us from the start." Is what the look was saying.

"I can protect myself, if I need..." Anykae murmured in half-offense when Oswin asked her why she wasn't in the safe inn. "Honestly..." Anykae smiled softly in return to Brandus, holding back a chuckle. She then gasped, watching Anabelle's body fly through the air. Anykae looked at Brandus, who was already on the move. She grinned. Anykae could relax and she knew Oswin would have to give in at some point.
Anykae watched and observed Oswin as he chanted spells. She was always interested in knowing about different magic. "Thank goodness Oswin," Anykae congratulated, although, you could consider it was his fault to begin with. Next, she rushed over to Anabelle, who didn't seem to want to depend on others. Anykae guessed Anabelle's pride was hurt by Brandus jumping in, or maybe she was secretly thankful, but who could tell.
"Please hold still...I want to help." Anykae told the girl, starting to unwrap the bandage. "I can't have anything covering that while I cast the spell, so please forgive me...." Anykae smiled. Then she held her hands to her mouth, as if she needed to check her breath, but it was just part of the spell. Closing her eyes, she focused her magic to her hands, until they almost glowed a strange light green. Still closing her eyes, her hands moved above the large cut and in a minute or two, it shut and the pain stopped.
"I'm sorry, my healing magic is not the best, so it may still bruise, but you may move it freely without too much trouble." Anykae spoke softly, opening her eyes. The need to rest still clawed out her and using more of her magic pushed that effect. Anykae shrugged this feeling off. Eh. The days almost over, I can deal with this for a while.

Anabelle let out a small groaning noise, being pushed aside. She had her sword now, but decided there was nothing more to do. She sighed and laid back, her sword parallel to her just to the right. Her pride was indeed hurt. "Blast it. It's bad luck, I say." Ryusaelith reached her and landed to her left and growled, obviously not happy. "No..It IS bad luck!" Anabelle almost growled back, wincing. "I had it! Had the most brilliant-"
The blue haired girl stood by her smiling, Anabelle sat up, but glared at her. "Please hold still...I want to help," She said. Anabelle's eyes widened. Ryusaelith took a few steps away to avoid being in the way. Anabelle said nothing yet, unsure what to do, but obviously Ryusaelith found trust in her. Anabelle held her arm at the girl, as if demanding she get to work. With Ryusaelith trusting her that quick, she probably wasn't human.
When Anykae finished, Anabelle turned her arm this way and that. " I can deal with a bruise or two. Good work." Anabelle told the girl, obviously too stubborn to thank anyone quite yet. The wyvern growled behind her in unapproval. "Hush hush, you. Allow me what pride I have left." Anabelle looked back at the girl. "Make my ankle better." Anabelle pointed. Ryusaelith growled slightly louder. "Fine. PLEASE FIX IT!" Anabelle demanded. The wyvern made a strange noise that could pass for a chuckle.
Anabelle looked back between Brandus and Oswin and pouted. She sighed. Curse my luck...curse it, curse it, curse it!!! She folded her arms now having to deal without pain in the left one. She felt a small lump in her throat and swallowed in back. Though Ryusaelith could feel her unhappiness, he showed no sympathy. He didn't want to go through this in the first place. Besides, she was the type to forget in a few minutes and laugh about something else. The wyvern had no need to worry. In fact, he could almost bet that soon Anabelle would trail Oswin like a duckling, bombarding him with question after question about his magic.
