General Information
Name: Her child name is Lethri. Once she reached a certain age, her named was changed to ianna’Nyi Kiirquarlani [eye-ahna’Nigh-ee Key-ir-kwar-lahni = Lady’Nyi Gemsoul] It isn’t uncommon for Avariel to have two names. It signifies reaching majority, a sort of adulthood or rite of passage, and is a common practice. Close friends might still call her by her child name while others call her by her majority name. It is uncommon to give nicknames. Closer Avariel call each other by their first names. With strangers, the Avariel will use the proper prefix.
Gender: Female
Species: She is of the rarest of the elven races, the Avariel, winged elves. It is scarce that outsiders encounter them. Therefore, their existence is restricted to tales told in legends and myths.
Outer Appearance
Actual Age/Age Appearance: The Avariel have a longer lifespan than humans do but a shorter lifespan than other elves. Therefore, she has been living for over fifty years. Obviously, elves age differently, so being over fifty years old is still young. However, she doesn’t classify as a child and has reached adulthood. She appears to be in her early twenties.
Hair Color/Style: She has considerably long hair. A length not often desired among her folk. It sways passed her hips and is typically never styled. She wears it loose. Her hair color is outwardly black, but the sun does cause it to glow a soft tinge of wisteria.
Eye Color/Features: Her unguarded eyes consist of irises that are relatively customary for her race. A whisper of mauve and blush lavender and midnight black pupils give her a far-off and soul-piercing gaze. Her high brows arch equally and parallel to her almond-shaped eyes. High cheekbones, a straight nose and full lips with a pronounced cupid’s bow, soften the angles of her highly angular elven face. She has a semi pronounced jaw line and a small rounded chin. Her ears are small, resembling those of half humans but with a slight outward and back positional direction of the tips.
Skin: She has a warm Persian orange skin tone with peach-orange undertones. She has no facial hair besides that of her brow and eyelashes and the hair on her head. Like other elves, she has no body hair. Her skin is soft, prone to nicks and cuts. She avoids this altogether however by keeping to the skies and using herbal lotions.
Height: 5’7” The winged elf are neither taller nor shorter than what an average human is. They could blend in with the race if not for their magnificent eagle-like wings.
Weight: 115lbs She is an avariel or a winged elf in the common tongue, and therefore has the ability to fly. In order for her to fly though, she must be light enough. Thus, her bones are hollow. Since her bones are hollow, she is frail which evidently increases her risk for broken bones.
Build: Like most Avariel, with elegant and striking bodies and movements, there is no significant difference. Her mediocre bust accompanies a wider hip circumference to that of her waist. Her legs are shapely and match her look. Her chest however, and rounded shoulders are strong, powering her glorious eagles’ wings whose plumage is pale silver.
Clothing Style: She wears much dress-like attire with odd designs. She is fond of wide ended sleeves and of only having one shoulder covered. Her dresses are naturally this way and even have deep square necklines. She prefers one shoulder left bare down until her mid bicep, which then a sleeve begins. The other arm has a regular sleeve. The dress’s torso is of a medium fit on her, with a corset-like range. Her hips are not pronounced in any of her dresses as each dress loosely hangs over them. She likes long, loose fitting clothing that have an opening for her wings.
Extra/Summary: She wears one long silver choker that wraps around her neck, crisscrossing at various points until it falls loosely at her chest. She also has a pair of silver earrings, which she wears at the helix of her ears. She has no body markings or blemishes. Her wingspan is roughly eleven feet.
Inner Appearance
Likes: Commonly, the winged elf appreciate beauty, creativity and the natural world, with their greatest joy being that of flight. She is no different. More personally, her favorite flower is the Iris ensata. She likes how the purple rims seem to represent a purple fire. It represents a handsome, quiet power. The flower itself is the purest of whites with a cheerful yellow on its petals. Her favorite smell is that of the sky, the crisp air and the wispy winds above the clouds assure her she is home. Her favorite fruit is pomegranate. Her favorite animal is the bald eagle.
Dislikes: Winged elves abhor closed or narrow places and Nyi shows no deviation from this strong disliking of such. Her race is serious-minded and therefore, Nyi doesn’t joke nor does she understand such attempts. She does not like roses because of their red coloring and thorns. She dislikes foul smells and dreads dragons. Dragons fed on her race. This resulted in the near extinction of her race many centuries ago. She knows this, though she was not yet conceived.
Bad Habits: She has panic attacks whenever situated in a narrow place or closed area. She has an aloofness that is unlike other elves. This could be because of her displacement and the simple yearning for the sky her winged elf culture all share.
Strengths: She has low-light vision. This means that in areas of poor elucidation, (moonlight, starlight, torchlight, etc) she can retain her natural ability of distinguishing color and detail. She has eyesight, akin to that of a giant eagle and can therefore discern details on objects up to a mile away. In the skies, she is fast; able to reach speeds of 45mph and faster.
Weaknesses: The Avariel are winged elves whose joy in life is flying. Consequently, she is highly claustrophobic. While in a narrow space or an enclosed area as being indoors, she will panic. This includes but doesn’t always subject her to feeling breathless, shaky, nervous, experiencing heart palpitations, having an inability to speak or think clearly, becoming mad or losing control and having a sense of detachment from reality. Her hollow bones make her frail; therefore, this is an incredible weakness. Nyi was not born to be a fighter or warrior and has no formal training with a long sword or rapier. On the ground, her wings are a great impediment. She walks slower than normal elves do. Her homeland is very temperate and so drastic changes in climate have a negative effect on her.
Extra: She does not sleep; instead, she enters into a meditative trance each day for four hours. When she is not flying, she has a far-off look in her eye; plausible reasons include missing a lost love. However, it is a desire to be in the sky.
Miscellaneous Information
Clan/Pack: Her family name is Kiirquarlani, meaning Gemsoul.

There have never been incidences where outsiders have reached Icaria. It is impossible since it is six miles over the land’s second largest mountain, Iina. Her home’s climate is temperate.
