History: Sardu's mother died at birth, leaving his father to protect him. His father was devoted to him and insured that Sardu never knew fear. When his father went out hunting, he would allow only his most trusted friends to watch over Sardu. Sardu grew quickly when compared to the elves he lived with in Selkia Forest. Soon he was as tall as his father. The elves, seeing his growth, began to distrust and dislike him. this grew to hate of the spoiled child Sardu had become. At that point, however, Sardu was old enough to accompany his father everywhere, never leaving Sandume's sight. Sandume was too much of a threat to anyone who would have attacked Sardu to follow through with their plans.
However, one day, when Sardu was 21, his father was called away to war against the humans to the north. These barbarians from near the Ularian Ridge were well-known for their love of battle. Sandume died in the battle, leaving Sardu an orphan. He was quickly exiled from the elvin society. Even those who hadn't hated him did now as the humans with whom he shared half of his blood were killing the elves. He left the elves and found welcome among the more peaceful humans to the west, who recognized him as a valuable fighter against the northern humans, who were fighting them as well. Eager to avenge his father's death, Sardu trained to become a swordsman. So dedicated was his training that in two years, there was no one who could beat him. When the northern barbarians attacked again, he rallied the soldiers of the west, and they beat the northmen, who began to fear the strength of the half-elf. He still works in the army of the western humans, now as a general, and is well-respected among his friends as well as his enemies. He is deeply attached to the small country that surrounds Lonea Lake and would give his life for it.
