She has silvery white hair that reaches to her waist and is quite young in appearance. She wears an off-white blouse, a dress laced up the sides, black slacks and brown leather boots. She also wears various earrings and a coil necklace. Personality: Riona is shy and flighty, rightfully so. She’s kind and generous, but there is also a deep rooted sadness that always seems to cloak her ambitions. She keeps to herself and is content in tending to the small things in life like gardens and songs. She enjoys spending time high up in treetops or anywhere else where she’s surrounded by nothing but nature.

Special Abilities: As a wood elf Riona has exceptional hearing and agility, able to hear things far away and she’s extremely light on her feet. This doesn’t make her the most elegant or the most calculative, only harder to trace if she’s actually trying not to be found. She also has an involuntary fire magic, a curse if you will. This particular fire magic gives only slight warning before unleashing. It’s an area effect blast, devastating within 10 yards and reaching 50 yards in diameter. It does not harm Riona, but it does drain her of all energy. Her healing magic uses focused orbs of white energy that she manipulates with her hands. Usually placing her hands over a wound is sufficient enough. This also drains her energy depending on the degree of the wound.

Strengths: Riona has a powerful healing ability, but it can weaken her depending on the severity of the wound. To save a life she would lose consciousness for several days leaving her susceptible to illness and malnourishment. She’s well versed in herbal lore, sparing her strength when she can.

Weaknesses: She also has a fierce and destructive fire magic that can be triggered by either situations of high stress or fear. It’s also been known to strike with no apparent provocation, making her a danger to society. She is easily frightened and has no skill with weapons save an average skill with a bow and arrow strictly for hunting.

History: Riona grew up with her family in a small community of elves. As she neared her twenties her ability to heal was revealed. Many thought it was a wondrous gift, but as time went by, Riona grew to loath it. She was weak and longed to be able to protect people from harm. She found herself only helpful when it came to aiding in the aftermath of something terrible and soon took it upon herself to find a way to rid herself of it. She approached one of the magii that resided among the elves and inquired to see his study in hopes to find some sort of incantation that would free her of her abilities. She spent many years paging through books of many dialects, reading over ancient texts and scrolls. After a time, she came across a book of elvish origin. Inside was a scrap of paper, the script and cuneiform scrawled on it was that of the drow. She found this mysterious and puzzling and wanting to understand what the text said, she read it aloud as she browsed over the writing with her finger tracing over what was written. What she did not see, nor ever would, was the writing on the back. The note burst into flame and as it did so, all Riona could see was fire engulfing the room. She woke up among cinders, the residence leveled. Struck with fear she fled to the mountains seeking solace.
