Physical Description:
Zhijiru is 5' 7" He has black short, unruly hair. His hair isn't curly, it only appears as if he doesn't do much with it, and thus it naturally waves. His right eye is green, but his left eye-- he doesn't dare look at it. [However, if you saw it, it is a demonic red.] His skin is tanned from long travels and from outdoor selling.

Clothes:
His attire is currently that of a usual worker's class wear. When working he wears bandage wrapping along his wrists to absorb sweat and semi tattered clothing. When he sells higher class wares or goes out to drink he wears layered clothing in a way that makes him look like a higher class worker. Which he is, but he prefers not to stand out over his peers.

Personality:
He loves his family, his farm, and his animals. He tries to be cautious around strangers because he doesn't fight well against expert magic users or master swordsman since he considers himself as just a merchant. He is loyal and tries to ally those who are stronger than him, even if they are rude and intimidating.

After teaming up with a young magic user named Echo, he befriended her in hopes of saving her from a curse. However, having to pass through Sensei City, where his uncle lives and prospers, he decided to find a way to get Echo to use her powers to weaken the city, and remove some competition from his smaller village Tamasha. Unknown to him however, it has quickened Echo's death, and lead his parasitic eye to intelligence and knowledge of power.

Powers: Zhijiru is slow in running but he can go for a very long time, this is because he has been traveling to sell his goods back and forth between cities and villages since he was a child. He carries an expensive Katana with designs of cranes on the top of the sheath. It is his prized possession and is a trophy of his wealth. He usually does not try to kill anyone.

Through his travels he has learned that a demonic parasite that devoured his earthly eye and has taken the shape of his former eye. The eye produces a thick black muck when it is exposed to light. So he tries to cover it as much as possible. When the eye is uncovered it produces this substance that if left exposed, the goo could eventually cover his entire body and cause him to transform into a monster.

Weaknesses:
When in beast form attacking the red eye defeats it, and coldness slows it down. Otherwise, Zhijiru is prone to any mortal damage, including illness, bone fractures, and other human afflictions, including death.
