Name: Noriko Mori
Age: 17
Gender: Primarily Male
Species: Tiger Demon
Height: 5'4"
Weight: 120 lbs
Hair: Glossy Blonde hair with a black layer beneath. Black streaks strategically placed here and there.
Eyes: Green
Skin: Pale
Appearence and Physical Description: Noriko has a few faces. He has very delicately feminine facial features that could fool anybody. Thus he uses it to his advantage and plays himself off as such. His sidebang hides his left eye slightly when he is a female, as that is one of his key ingredients to the entire recipe. When he is coming back into his male self, it helps to tie his hair back, but his still feminine face is hard to hide. He's got a slender body and long, gorgeous, agile legs.
His cat demon form is slightly more intimidating and less gender confused. It's thirteen feet long and about 10 feet tall.
Personality: Sly, Catty, Fierce. But very sweet and open.
Main Weapon: Girlish Charm!
Special Skills: Can command ice, solidify water, and freeze enemies. Cat-Like agility. Illusionary, like the stripes of the tiger he can make himself invisable or visable to whom he choose.
Weaknesses: Enemy freezing doesn't last more than a few seconds, unless freezing temperatures are acclimated. It only gives him time to start running. He is very young and hasn't mastered any of his skills and those skills that are tangible are VERY limited.
History: Though Noriko's version of his childhood is quite blurred;
He was borne in Arienh, healthy land in a stable environment with like demons. To ensure he did not become a brute as most were in the village, his mother spent much of her time imbuing the child with a love for the arts. She spoiled Nori with regular lessons in music and crafting and, while he showed great potential as a combatant, he seemed to gravitate towards the finer aspects of his mother's teachings from an early age. Thus, enduring a heavy curriculum from both parents, he spent most of his childhood and young adulthood striving for balance between the two conflicting fields.
During his baby kitten years, Arienh was struck by an unprecedented famine. Unbeknownst to the city's denizens, the icy western crater had come to be far north and with it a drastic change in the region's climate. The natural habitat was destroyed and a majority of the local food sources began to wither and local prey began dying. Dead fish washed onto the shores, and in time the larger game animals became emaciated versions of themselves. The sudden change was reflected within the city as well, with the weak and elderly quickly growing ill. Faced with imminent disaster, the presiding government was left with little choice but to search elsewhere for nourishment.
To prevent the downfall of Arienh, several hunting parties were formed to brave the far reaches of the surrounding wilderness. One consisted of Noriko and his mother.
Much to their chagrin, the hunting party found little during their venture towards the mountains. In fact, as they drew closer to the craggy edges that kissed the mountain's edge they found that the local animal life was becoming ever more sparse. Bloated and mangled corpses began to dot their path, bent and broken in such a way that suggested a greater enemy and not some form of simple infighting. The party cautiously proceeded nonetheless, only giving pause when a gathering of discarded bones was discovered. Upon closer inspection, they proved human. Sickened and frightened, it was decided upon that the party would return to Arienh.
During the late hours of the night, the exhausted party was forced to take pause and rest their aching feet, fearing they would never reach their destination with such tired bodies. Wearied from their journey thus far and the anxiety that plagued them, they gathered in a densely wooded area in hopes of gaining some protection from the tight quarters it provided. However, their fear and drive to create a shelter that was perhaps too secure would, in the end, prove to be their downfall. In the darkness, they were ambushed by close to a dozen cultists. Cloaked in the shadows, they caught the party by surprise and quickly subdued them. In a supposed act of heroism, Noriko's father managed to free himself from their grappling hold and attempted to assault his specie's captors. His valiant efforts were swiftly put to an end and, restrained, he was heartlessly beheaded by the cultists. Learning by example, none of the remaining party members gave further struggle against them.
Conceding to their assailant's commands, the party was led back towards the Mountains and led through a dizzying maze of rocks and shelves to a small, seemingly natural opening in the cliffside. They were escorted through a series of winding corridors and twisted caverns, natural light slowly fading until they were forced to maneuver in the pitch black of underground. They would descend for some time before a new light greeted them, the dim green glow of luminescent maggots and fungi that crept along the walls. Despite how eerie the faint lighting may have appeared, it was a welcome change from the inky shadows they had previously trudged through. What broke the silence, however, was far less inviting. Above the writhing of worms came the sounds of metal grinding and torment; screaming, groaning and broken whimpering that hardly sounded real any longer.
At the end of their laborious trek, they were led to a spacious chamber where they were greeted by a pale man in dark clothing. He appeared human despite his ghastly coloration and he carried himself with practiced poise, calm and collected aside from deep red eyes that were fraught with restrained lunacy.
Separated from one another, Noriko and his mother were locked away in small, individual chambers. The cells were cramped and dank, filled with the pungent smell of moist earth and indeterminable filth that had soaked the dirt from past prisoners. With no furnishings and no visible door, the cell was nothing more than a tight hole carved into the earth. They were unlit, though at times one may find themselves lucky enough to be visited by a stray worm that would offer a very minimal and temporary glow before moving on it's way.
Convinced that she would have to find Noriko's own escape or he would die within this horrific place, Noriko's mother spent a good deal of time scouring the walls of her cell for any signs of weakness. Meals were delivered once per day and thus, by all means, there should have been an opening somewhere. Long story short, she finally found a worn in opening in the bricks. Just small enough to push her baby cub through. Thankful that Noriko was so small, she pushed him through and encouraged him to run. "Baby, run away from the mountains. Away from where we came, it's too dangerous! I will find you baby, I'll be out within minutes!"
Tentatively, the young cub obeyed his mother in hopes that she would stand by her word and meet up with him. Oh, how it hurt her to lie to her baby.
Noriko has been traveling ever since. Though his mind filled with much darker thoughts about what happened to his mother, he still hopes to find her and he refuses to settle anywhere until he does.
Quotes: "May the fierce be with you!"
"Well, I thought he was human! I didn't want to rip his arm off and be like 'Here, this belongs to you."
"Okay? Hot momma making flirty banter with you, you stupid f**k. What, are you gay?"
"Gee, 'brey. When the dark energy ball came flying towards me I thought 'I hope I didn't leave the toaster on' and when my leg snapped in half I was thinking 'maybe I should get a pet'."
