[I'm sorry, but I did look and if I happened to miss anything, I hope you don't get irked. But, I couldn't find any specifications on what your characters should/shouldn't have. Anyways, my character is slightly based off Garth Nix's Abhorsen series- not a lot! But, just the idea of the bells, the gates of death, that stuff. If you have a problem, I can probably find a different character or alter this one, but I'm hoping you don't. =D]
Name: Ezra Damascus
Hair (length, texture): Ebony tresses woven of silk fall to her knees in a thick, shimmering curtain.
Eyes: Black
Age: Early twenties.
Gender: Female
Physique: Naturally slim, compact.
Height: 5’6”
Skin tone: White.
Weapons/Armor (Attire): Ezra has no particular banner but her bells, which she wears always as well as a myriad of weapons (depending on the time period). The bells are strapped in pouches upside down in a bandolier, lying diagonally across the chest from right to left. The bells range from the size of a pillbox and steadily increase to that of a jar. The ebony handles are marked with bone engravings of the magic that makes the bells. (WEAPONS: other than bells, they range from guns to swords, to poisoned darts.)
Weakness/Strengths: Optimistic, strong of mind and spirit with her youth, Ezra is a brilliant young woman with a solemn persona. Her youth is a negative and positive; it gives her the energy and readiness that the old abhor as they grow more jaded, but it also leaves her surprisingly ignorant of things that only experience can give.
Family/Companions: Ezra was close to her father, learning his art of necromancy. Although not a particularly warm person, he did care for his daughter and brought her up to the best of his abilities. Although she had no mother, Ezra was not particularly bothered by this fact and was probably strengthened for it. Although in preference to solitude, she can occasionally love the festivities within crowds.
Occupation: Necromancer
Personality: Although a somber woman, Ezra finds delight in the simplest of things. Not one to risk herself without good reason, the necromancer claims neutrality. Cynical of humans, but inquisitive about otherworldly creatures, she moves in a haze of curiosity and a passion for knowledge that is both charming and lethal.
History: Born in a small house, Ezra was kept on house arrest for the most part so that her father might more easily protect her from harm. Hating her confines, she began to explore behind her home and thus discovered her necromantic abilities when by the raw leaking of her powers she brought back a bird. While most girls went through puberty and alcohol and boys, Ezra went through necromancy training; she learned about the dead, the bells, and her destiny.
Ezra loves her solitude, and took to it with an intensity when her father passed. With her not-very-amusing sense of humor and bells, she finds herself getting looked at with more hostile and dubious looks than friendly ones, and although this occasionally chafes, she’s dealt with the matter by traveling- a craving borne from being kept in such small quarters for so long.
A necromancer of rapidly growing power, Ezra finds she is a superb master of all kinds of undead, and with her curiosity she is pulled across the country to find out the exact limit of her power- which means playing with the vampires and other deceased beasties and seeing if they’re immune to the tender ministrations of her bells or not.
