Name: Drakon Barata
Alias: Bane
Gender: Male
Age: 19
Height: 6'3"
Appearance: A colossal young man, Drakon easily overshadows most of those he meets. A trait which only adds to the daunting visage he projects. Brown skin, darkened by the touch of the sun, bulges and strains against the sea of muscles that lie underneath. This, along with his broad and towering shoulders, massive arms, and powerful legs, mark this man as almost uncomfortably muscular before his peers. Drakon's face, unfortunately, while bearing a youthful and rugged handsomeness, is fairly unimpressive on its own. A thin, army style buzz cut and a strong jaw line coated with a finely groomed and low trimmed black beard accompanied by a pair of hazel brown eyes are the only things that tend to catch the eye of the occasional on looker.
Scars: Drakon bears numerous white scars upon his body. Found mostly on his torso, most are small and seemingly caused at different points in his life. The rough and jagged white band etched into the skin around his neck, like that of a noose, on the other hand, seems far from insignificant.
Others: Drakon also sports three plain silver loops evenly spaced in his left ear. Along with this are the two tattoos marking his skin. Drawn with a bold black ink, the first and largest of the tribal designs begins on his right hand and intricately snakes its way up his arm, and even onto his neck. The second, a much simpler design, is next to his left eye. The marking curves its way slightly over the eye from both above and beneath.
Attire: Drakon is usually seen wearing the same heavy, dark cloaks he seems to fancy so much. Mostly, this is due to the discreteness they can offer, even to a man of his size and appearance. Underneath however, he wears a pair of simple, dark cargo pants, along with a skin tight black vest underneath his dull white tunic, complete with hood. Around his waist sits a broad white sash with its end allowed to dangle between the knees. To protect his feet, a pair of military boots with a metal coating on the underside seem serve just fine in both the comfort and combat departments.
Personality: If there was a one word to summarize Drakon Barata, it would most likely be, complicated. Though his menacingly deep and accent heavy voice along with a troubling demeanor seem considerably dark, many can pick out Draven’s faults such as his arrogance, pride, greediness, and impatience at a quick glance. The foreigner's better qualities, however, like his childish humor, friendly, and even caring ways can sometimes shine through, but add this to the discipline and ferocity implanted in him by his father and the his homeland's military, then the delusions of grandeur he has implanted in himself, and we come back to our initial conclusion, complicated.
* Ungodly Strength [Even for a man of his bulk, the power he posses is terrifyingly unnatural]
* Honed Hearing and Smell [Ears and nose trained for even the slightest snap of the twig or whiff of a scent]
* Reflexes and Reactions [When you're as weighed down as much as this man is, its easy to appreciate to ability to react quicker than your opponent]
* Boundless Elemental Power
* Son of the Flame [Drakon's mastery over his favorite element, fire, is stunning to say the least. Not only is the amount of pure, raw power he is able to produce through his creative attacks staggering, but so is the natural resistance he has built up to the heat. An ability which keeps him immune from the ill effects of even the most blazing infernos. This affinity also radiates as a pulsating and almost blistering aura around his body at all times]
* Weapons Master
* Demonic Arts [Dabbled is an understatement. Drakon's ability to not only summon demons and creatures of the sort, but to also impose his dominance and control over them is almost awe inspiring]
* Speed [With such an impressive arsenal of both steel and flesh, its not surprising that this man is nor as agile or as speedy as he could be]
* Eyesight [While in no way blind, Drakon suffers from a slight case of nearsightedness which can leave him in unfavorable disadvantage]
* Stamina [Being as mighty as he is can be very tiring work]
* Sensitive Hearing and Smell [Enemy of skunks and loud noises everywhere]
* Elemental Weakness [Strangely enough, whenever Drakon is completely soaked with the waters of an ice or water spell, he himself cannot muster up the power to produce any of his own fire magic]
Armor
-Fingerless leather gloves disguise a pair of sturdy butcher's gloves underneath.
-Vest of chain mail worn under his tunic.
-A tough breastplate made of a very foreign metal also lies underneath his tunic
-Metal greaves on both legs
-Grim [Almost always found on Drakon, even in his sleep, Grim is a steel helmet/mask so named for the cackling skull like face and realistic curves and ridges in its design. The helmet covers the wearer's entire head and face, save for the area around his ears. Weather it has any magical properties is unclear]
Weapons:
-A spiked, single sided and curved axe strapped to his back.
-Vicious looking machete sheathed sideways on the small of his back.
-Throwing axes held at his sides
-Hunting knifes hidden in his boots
-The Crucible [Like the armor found on the arm of suit of armor, the Crucible is a much stronger and bulkier hunk of metal which engulfs Drakon's entire right arm. Not only does it provide a useful defense, but also a valuable offensive tool]
History: Where Drakon is from is nothing short of a mystery. His strange customs and overpowering accent are enough to point that out. However, the large man's foreign home seems to be something almost completely left behind. Or at least tried to. Sentenced to death for his relationship with not just magic, but demon worship, Drakon managed to escape his fate, only to realize not just the land he once called his own and fought for so fatefully as a young officer in its army, but also his own family, would no longer have him. This left the warrior exiled and in desperate need of an escape. That escape lead him to his new home which he still, apparently knows little of despite the year spent here. While the foreigner has no where he would settle down, the big man seems almost content wandering his new strange lands in seek of challenges from both strong opponents and adventure alike. Though, if one could study him long enough, they could sense that keen desire of conquest creeping its way into the soldier's heart.
