Airkhasiel did not return the smile "...Yes they are, if it's a dog you're trying to heal...what makes you so interested anyway?" she was curious and aware this man didn't know many herbs. The fact he was so into sedatives and healing herbs concearned her, why would he need such things? I only keep them just incase a scik traveller comes to me from the village. But why would such a man need them?

Sian shrugged. "A dog.... Obviously I have a lot to learn." At her question, however, he immediately pulled away a bit, becoming guarded. This is why I don't talk to people, He scolded himself. And yet, I always end up doing it. I'm such an idiot. He shivered slightly as a particularly cold wind blew through momentarily.
"I'm just curious. My mother used to be interested in herbs, so it caught my attention is all." He looked away from her to Kotori, who was openly staring at the girl with interest.

Airkhasiel gently smiled and nodded "I see" turning her head toward the girl starring at her intently, the girl obviously hadn't seen one of her kind before. Airkhasiel turned back to the man infront of her "I'm sorry I didn't catch your names, I'm Air."

"I'm Sian," he said, almost distractedly. He would have given an alternate name, but he'd already told Kotori his real name. Another sign of his stupidity. "Nice to meet you." He smiled politely and motioned for Kotori to introduce herself.

Airkhasiel gently smiled at them both, the girl just seemd to be awed by her ears, but the man...Sian, he was asking about healing herbs. Which were only usually used for people who would get hurt in battle or had battle intent, but whether he was a nice guy or not she preserved judgement and remained cautious "It's nice to meet you both" now looking at Kotori she saw the girl blush, this made Airkhasiel laugh "It's okay, elves are not common around here... you two don't look like your from around here either. You off somewhere?" she asked Kotori.

"Nice to meet you too," Sian answered, though he didn't quite know if he could say that confidently yet. He smiled pleasantly, pushing back all sorts of nasty thoughts that the demon filtered into his mind. He'd gotten used to it - the feeling of utter glee that accompanied these gruesome images wasn't his own. It was strange at first feeling emotions that weren't his.
He didn't answer the next bit about them being from out of town, seeing the question being aimed more at Kotori. Instead, he watched silently.

Kotori bit her lip gently and nodded"yes im a forest dweller you see"her wings itched so she casualy scratched them and made it look like she was scraching her back and a pale blue grey feather sliped away from under her shirt

Airkhasiel smiled at the girl softly observing the beautiful blue grey feather that fell softly to the floor out of her shirt. Airkhasiel wondered but didn't ask, reserving judgement "I see" she paused for a moment gathering her thoughts looking at Sian and Kotori, they probably would like to know why she asked "I'm bored. I have been travelling around trying to find something conventional to do and have failed miserably. The satisfaction from making potions and determining what herbs to make new potions only lasts so long" she sighed.

Kotroi shuffled so the feather was covered by her foot and she glanced st the elf girl hoping to whatevert god there was that the elf didnt notice it

Sian was uneasy at the last question, but saw no reason to not let her go along with them, despite his growing feeling of unease.
"I don't mind," He said. "Do you?" He directed the last question at Kotori.
