There was a faint shaking of the earth when Narzilla emerged behind the trees. Her eyes - glowing almost like melted gold - froze on the herd of deers out on the field. They were busy grasing, but Narzilla could see the buck standing there, looking alarmed. He had probebly felt the shaking in the ground when she arrived.
Narzilla stared at the buck for a moment, then withdrew her eyes and looked at the other members of the herd. She was close enough to storm out from among the trees and grab a deer before it managed to run away, but one deer only wasn't enough to satisfy her hunger. And when that one deer was dead, the others would probably be far away. No, she had to use another tactic to get enough deers to still the hunger.
Slowly, she took a few steps to the side, stil hidden behind the trees, but she could see that the buck still looked alarmed. She had to act now, before he decided to take the herd away from this field. Narzilla lowered her head, before she leaped forward and out among the trees. A growl of hunger escaped her lips as she ran towards her herd, that was alredy on the move away, their hooves thundering over the grass. Narzilla managed to catch up with the slowest animals, and she opened her mouth, revealing her razorsharp teeths. Then a blast of fire erupted from the deep of her throat, and she could feel the heat in her own mouth and the flames tickling over her tounge.
Three of the deers got caught in the flames, two of them died immediately, while the last lay in the grass, burnt and hurt but unable to get up. Narzilla slowed her speed, and then came to a halt behind her prey. She bit down on the neck to the deer that was still alive, easily killing it and relasing it from it's pain. She then began to eat, and had just finished of the first deer when she heard a rustling sound from behind the trees surrounding the small field. Narzilla lifted her head and stared towards the trees, where the sound had come from. She then growled softly, just to warn whoever was there that this was her prey, and she didn't want to share it with anyone.
