Zinniah had made it to the Lonea Lake, at last. She now sat crosslegged in the grass near the lake with a map in front of her, while the moon hung clear and bright on the nightsky and sent beams like silver down on the waters surface.
Well, she had made it as far as to this lake, but the real target was to make it to Tamasha Village, where she could get at better meal and better sleep than she had had lately. But worst of all was the feeling of loneliness she had felt after she got separated with a good friend in a storm. Narzilla had been more than just a companion, Zinniah had realised afterwards, 'cause Narzilla had also been a protector, and she had brought dead animals back to Zinniah when she had been out hunting. Zinnah wasn't good at hunting alone, so she had mostly been eating berries, roots and mushrooms since she became alone.
With a sigh, she packed the map back down in her bag, when her stomach again made a faint sound, revealing that she was . She could spot small villages near the lake, perhaps she could get some food there. But on the other hand, maby starving a bit is just a good thing. Zinniah thought, while she glanced down on her chubby belly. But she soon threw away that thought, because beeing chubby - or at least having some meat on ones bones - had always been a sign of health where she came from. And Zinniah didn't wanna loose her healthy look, not at all.
Zinniah leand back on her arms and glanced out over the glittering lake, not sure if she should camp and rest here tonight, or if she should go to one of the villages and hope that she could find some place to eat and sleep. Her decision fell on the last alternative, so Zinniah stood up from the grass and hung the bag over her shoulder as she started to walk alongside the lake.
