Name: Bane Grimsteel
Age: 21
Race: Fire Genasi
Physical Description: Tall and hansom Bane is the description of a perfectly built Genasi. A very rare species he is often mistaken for an evil spirit or a demon, so he hides his features under cloth and pieces of armor accumulated from fallen foes. If you were to run into Bane you would probably see a Tall well armed man wearing a cowl over his face to protect himself from the sun, either that or he is a lepper and to be avoided. The heavy one handed sword hanging from his back near his hips however tells a different story for it is pitted with scars of heavy battle its hilt well worn and its stiff leather scabbard is well bleached from hours of suffering in the sun. Although his hair and skin seem to be red hot they are infact merely a few degrees above normal body temperature, oddly in heated moments he will greatly increase in temperature his body painful to touch as his veins seem to be rivers of lava, his eyes temples to fire gods.
Personality: Bane is for the most part fairly kind, as long as it doesn't break his code of honor he will most likely lend his hand to help in what ways he can. However living by a code isn't easy and he can be potentially hypocritical when trying to uphold his ideals. However much to his dismay all kindness and rules of honor are shattered when his blood is boiling and combat has begun. When in a blood lust he become a cold hard killer, true to his accursed name he will not stop till he has brought death to those who dare cross blades with him, often as not upon felling a final foe he will call out to his vengeful god and pray that he has fulfilled his horrid rage.
History: Bane is not this Genasi's true name, rather it is a title forced upon the young man in shame before being cast out into the unforgiving desert that his people dwell within. An outcast for murdering a young woman in the heat of battle, an unforgivable crime amongst the Genasi, he wandered from the desert alive and full of self loathing. Upon stepping into a small town just outside the desert he found himself affronted by strange flesh beings calling themselves humans, they claimed he was a demon from the desert and there holy man had ushered that his death would save him from the sand demons wrath. Forced to slay flesh being after flesh being Bane came to a great temple and fell to his knees wearied from the seemingly endless battle his ears still ringing from the shouts and screams of combat. His eyes rested upon an old man whom stared down at him from a throne of soft cushions his skin so wrinkled Bane found himself wondering if he was staring at the legendary living corpses that haunted the stories of his youth. 'Ahh i see the demon has wreaked his vengeance upon us for killing his children' its voice sounded like a thousand years to the young warrior who inquired what he was talking about, demanding a reason for the attack on his person. 'you are not thee then? or perhaps your demon god has sent thee against us I know not. Those others like you child, none stand in this realm now, we saw to that'
Leaping the steep stairs he landed attop the elderly relic his blade flashing out in a glorious silvery arch his eyes a pair of burning coals, yet there was nothing there only some dirty scraps in a broken temple inside a ruin of a city. "w..wha?" turning young Bane stared out at had just a moment ago been a living breathing city, cracking laughter run into his ears. "aahh young fire demon...your god shall not find me here" whispered the voice of the corpse like man and then with a stiff breeze Bane was alone. Unable to return to his people and see to there safety or even learn of news to see if they still lived Bane wanders the world enraged seeking that very old man so that he can end a score and learn the truth. Upon leaving the ruins he had knelt in the sand and prayed to his god for guidance, his god had responded, whispering promises of vengeance and chaining his soul to a holy code with bonds of honor....
Never violate a woman, nor harm a child. Do not lie, cheat or steal. These things are for lesser men. Protect the weak against the evil strong. And never allow thoughts of gain to lead you into the pursuit of evil.
