Name: Naria Drabien
Age: 19
Race: Human (tribal)
Description: Naria is fair in coloring, making her stand out in contrast to most of the others in her village. She sports overly long white blond hair and blue eyes that are almost colorless. Her skin is fair as well, with only a hint of darkening from the sun. Rumor is that she gets such odd coloring from her father, who was not from the village, and is hardly spoken of. Her small frame however is inherited solely from her mother, Takai. Naria stands just above 5 feet and is slender and athletic in body.
Personality: She is the child every mother hopes for. Naria does as she is told, always, giving her complete trust to those who are charged with her care. She does not argue and is not quick to anger. She is patient and kind. Naria is also a passionate student, she gives herself completely to her studies in healing and herbs. This has had an impact on her relationship with others her own age, having shrugged off the desire to have fun in order to fulfill the expectations set upon her academically she is often considered a bore.
History: Born and raised in a small village near the lake, Naria spent her childhood under the instruction of some of the most knowledgeable healers of the lake. Her mother, Takai, was one such healer, though a free spirit. She became pregnant by a visiting warrior and later had Naria to raise alone. Not long after Takai married a villager, Romand, and soon after a second child was born, Pippa.
Fate was kind to the small family for many years, however when the fever swept through the village Naria's parents were two that the illness claimed, leaving her to care for herself and her half-sister. Luckily the villagers were all close in a familial way and the two were never neglected. Upon her coming (passing into adulthood) Naria began to feel the tug of curiosity about her birth father, a desire to seek him out lay quietly in her heart. When the elders suggested to her that she take a husband she agreed, reluctantly, and so plans for the Maiden festival began. The event would draw crowds to the festivities from all around the area, many only wanting to partake in the events planned, others curious to see who the maiden would choose.

Description: The opposite of her sister, Pippa sports dark hair that falls in raven cascades to her shoulders and eyes the color of night. Her skin is tanned considerably and her form is a bit on the plump side.

History: Growing up in a home with only one other child, and a child not of her father's making, Pippa lead a privileged life of coddling. Socially she blossomed early on, and evidence of that is seen in the flock of friends and admirers that follow her about day to day. Life was simple for Pippa, she would enjoy adventure and flirtation as a youth, but looked forward to the day when the elders would announce her Maiden Festival and all attention would be upon her and her intended. Having a choice in the matter was very appealing, So when it was time for her sister's Maiden Festival she was excited and disappointed. It confused her to see her compliant sister struggling not to refuse. She almost dreaded the festivities for her sister's sake. Almost.
