Name
Aldrin Kassar
Age
37
Race
Human
Appearance
Physical
Aldrin is a six foot and four inches tall man. A fu manchu styled mustache marks his face. His hair is Persian red and has a rough texture. It is long, but almost always held up in a ponytail, or covered with a helmet. He has forest green eyes.
Clothing
He is lightly armored, but for a good reason. Mobility. He wears boiled leather armor, mostly covering his upper body and leather gloves. He also wears a leather helmet most of his time (see picture at top). Under his armor is silk, which helps for arrow wounds. Instead of having the need to push the arrow through or pull to get out, the silk can be tugged a bit around the wound, pulling out the arrow with less pain. A leather belt around his waist leads us to our next part.
Weapons
A sheath carries a short iron sabre on his belt. Two different light leather quivers carrying a limited amount of arrows are on the right side of his body, the sabre being to his left. The first quiver holds your standard arrows, but the second holds a smaller amount of closer ranged armor piercing projectiles. He carries a Mongolian styled recurve bow, and a left thumb ring to protect himself from the string.
Personality
Aldrin seems a nice man, except for the fact that he intends to recruit others to his cause and find remnants of his people (read history for info) to destroy and take Valear. He has excellent leadership skills, as he served as a high ranking man in his people's army before their annihilation. He was once ruthless to his enemies, giving no mercy... and he is even more ruthless to this day. His reasons for being in Valear are good ones, but ones that would cause much bloodshed. He is a fair speaker, but not a great one.
History
This story begins with a mother giving birth to a baby. This mother's name never being told to this baby. She gave birth to him in a small village that would be sacked and burned down that same year by the same people he would be a hero for. So, his townspeople were killed, but not the babies or the children. These children were instead taken with these people, the Kyrinians. Aldrin was then given a name and treated well by the people. He finally reached 15 and was eligible for joining the Kyrinian army. He began training in what his new people do best. Mounted archery. He was taken on his first pillage. His people took him the battlefield where he could learn best by seeing their tactics play out. It was amazing to him. They were excellent at riding the horse. He new of this, but what they would do - with great skill - was turn fully on their horse to face the enemy as they did a feint retreat. After this he began more training, learning how to use these techniques. He was given his bow, armor, and his horse. He gained through the ranks through the years. He had no time for relationships, just one night things. He finally reached 37 and later that same month their enemies from Valear did what the Kyrinians didn't expect. They took a long flank around the island after forces were charging to repel the invaders, ships beached on all sides, destroying and pillaging (the Kyrinians did this better though...). Aldrin and his grey horse, Algabar, hid aboard a ship and went to Valear hidden. Just as Valear came in site, during the night, he stealthily killed the shipmates and using his parthian tactic, rode his horse backwards out of the small port he arrived at, shooting down his enemies. He escaped them, and that is where he is now. He seeks revenge for the deaths of all of his people. But he can't do it all alone, can he? Aldrin and Algabar, the small horse now ride through Valear seeking those who would follow.
