Minh was left without much to do... He stood in the clearing for a little while, panting and trying to calm himself to assess the situation. He closed his eyes, held them that way, then opened them slowly. He was done trying to follow Sylvia. There was no way he could catch up with someone who could fly in the state he's in. Normally he'd just shadowdance his way through her shadow. That, however, required the ability to do more than hobble his way through some bushes.
Glancing around the gore-strewn clearing, he waddled his way to the trees with his starknives stuck in them. Stopping to stare into the broken Harlequin mask that saved his life. He pulled the knives out and put one in his sash. 'Might as well do it now, rather than later...' He thought to himself and brought the knife to his hand. He slipped the glove off his left hand and pricked his finger with the edge of one of the four blades. Then, he smeared the blood on the edge of the knife and began,
"Pixie Kagu I call you, Puca of the Dark Court Kagu, Come forth. Dark Prince of the waves, asnwer the summons I palce on thee." he chanted into the knife, staring at it. After a while the entire surface seemed to fog over, even though he wasn't breathing on it. The calling of a Fae using one's blood was one of the most common methods. There were others, of course. But few were available to outsiders. After a short while, a dark-skinned, angular face appeared. The eyes were aglow with the most piercing blue that could be perceived. They swirled as if all the rivers, lakes, and oceans of the world were constantly swirling beneath them.
"Who is- Oh! Look, hon! The Swirly-faced paleskin is here!" He shouted. A voice could be heard somewhere in the background and a female Pixie, skin like stormclouds before a heavy rain, and hair as dark as night topped with a round, cloth hat poked her head in and grinned, showing her lines of pixie teeth, "oh oh! I wonder what he wants! " she shouted and the male called Kagu nodded, "What -so- you want, Swirly-face?" he asked.
Minh couldn't help but smile, the pixie couple always made him laugh. Well technically, Kagu was Half Demi-fey, and half pixie, while Paix, the female, was Half Sidhe half Pixie. They had a daughter named Skadi that Minh had only met once, and the experience was surreal.
"I- I need help." He managed, his eyes looking downtrodden and rather beat. As if he was just plain tired, and this was his last option. Which, for the most part. All of that was true.
The Pixie couple and Minh exchanged a few words and Minh let the knife drop onto the ground beside him while he waited for them to come.
He fell asleep after a short while against the tree while Sylvia went to find her bag, and the Fae were on their way.

One two, one two, one two. . .one. . .two. . .one, two.
Counting this in her head, her wings beating to it, she could feel that her energy was slowly being drained. Even though she had only been in the air for about twenty seconds, she felt like she had flown around the world twice. Sweat was dripping down her face, and her wings were hurting more with each beat. Maybe this wasn't the best idea. But, her concern was wiped out as she recognized the area in which she was ambushed, the sudden hole in the trees where she forced her way through. So, angling her wings, her outer feathers holding back the rushing wind, she flew downwards through the gap in between the dense trees.
With a landing that had her on her knees, scratches from the branches covering her arms, Slyvia paused as she tried to catch her breath, finding it more difficult then usual. Maybe because she felt her wounds getting worse, so her energy levels weren't at their best. As per usual however, she didn't think about her health too much.
After a few moments on her knees, once she had caught her breath, she slowly brought herself up onto her legs, using a tree beside her to balance herself. Pushing back her black locks away from her face, reminding herself that she needed to cut her hair soon, she began to look around the area. She remembered that she had let go of the bag on instinct when she sensed the ambushers, so she wasn't sure where exactly it was, but it couldn't have been too far, as this where she had taken off. So, it had to be in a bush or something.
Searching every bush, getting bitten by a nest of spiders which lived in one, she finally managed to get her bag. Out of breath once more, sweat dripping from her face, she was glad she had found it. Untying the knot she had placed, it was a great relief to see that the amulet was still in there, gleaming in a ray of light which broke through the leaves. So beautiful.
Biting on her bottom lip, a fresh trail of blood running down her chin as her cracked lips were sensitive and so easily punctured, she held the bag close to her chest as she began to beat her wings furiously, finding it difficult to take off since one of her wings was damaged. But, eventually, she broke through, along with fresh scratches from branches, and was once again airborne. Beating her wings slowly, panting once more, she began to make her way slowly back towards the clearing.
About ten minutes of agonizing flying, she came to a stumble as she practically crash landed into the field. Gripping onto the bag as she got onto her feet once more, she bit back a scream as her wing shot pain up her body. Deciding not to fly for a good few days, folding it against her back for now, wincing as more pain shot up, Slyvia was surprised to see Minh asleep under the tree. He looked rather peaceful, she hadn't seen him like that since last night. How last night by the fire seemed like a year ago.
Stumbling her way towards him, she could sense the presence of another person, and she could faint whispers. Looking around, a confused look on her face, since she couldn't see anyone she decided that it was just her imagination playing tricks on her. Sitting down on the opposite side of the tree in which Minh lay, she let out a soft sigh as she stretched out her weary legs. She felt so weak and vulnerable, needless to say it pissed her off.
Wiping the sweat off her brow, feeling the urge for some water, she laid her head back as she stared up through the leaves of the tree up towards the clear blue sky. In the shade, she found it amusing that she was in the darkness as the sun had its rays on everything else. She was after all a dark creature. For some reason though, after she thought this, she felt guilty. Why, she wasn't sure, but as she reached into her bag and pulled out the butterfly trinket, she found that this was the source of her guilty feelings. Staring at it, watching as it glinted as some of the rays of the sun broke through the leaves, she cracked a small smile. Even though she didn't believe in gods too much, she still felt slightly calm as she looked towards it.

There were stones. Stones and sounds. No, not sounds. Wind. Minh opened his eyes and he was standing in an endless field of tall grass that came just up to his waist. He looked around. The horizon held a ball of golden orange that was drooping lazily above the relaxing slopes of mountains in the distance. The soft, warm breeze wafted through the field, swaying the grass and causing it to tickle his naked legs. His entire body was covered in tattoos. Each one sparkled and gleamed and it was then he noticed the moon, large and shining brightly above him. The tattoos were intricate, arcane designs for the most part. The only thing that was not arcane, were the butterfly-wing tattoos on his back. They stretched from his upper shoulders all the way down to his rear end. the bright blues and greens and blacks accented each other with a careful grace that could only be the careful craftsmanship of an artisan. The tattoos on his chest and arms and legs each represented different arcane sigils, and all held a different power.
The stones he noticed first, floating above his head. Their surfaces swam with crimson and lavender, and as they flowed along his skin, the lavender rose to be prominent, but when he reached out to touch one, it flared an angry crimson, like blood trapped within the obsidian surface of these rocks. After a while, Minh heard a noise and looked behind him, his black hair spinning with him, and hanging down passed his waist now that it was no longer in a ponytail and held up in his head. As he turned, a large, ancient tree loomed on the crest of a hill nearby. He was sure it hadn't been there before, but since it was the only landmark, he started off toward it. The stones dutifully followed behind him.
As he neared the tree he heard singing. It sounded like a lullaby his grandmother used to sing him when he was little, before she passed away. As he drew closer, the source of the singing made itself apparent: A young woman, with pointed ears, and brilliant lavender eyes smiled at him as she sat on one of the ancient tree's branches. Her long, silver hair fell passed the branch a ways and swayed with the breeze. She finished the song as Minh neared, and Minh realized she was naked, too. He turned his head away slightly, so that he wasn't caught staring and his cheeks flushed as blood ran beneath them. He turned back and she was standing in front of him. His foot took a step back immediately and the woman began to speak, but blood flowed forth from her pristine lips. Her eyes glazed over and she fell to her knees as the blood flowed down her chest and stained the golden grass. Minh panicked and rushed to her side but as soon as he grabbed her she burst into dust and the breeze took her away. He watched her flow away and looked down at his hands. The last bits of dust fell from them, but beneath sat a small stone. It had the same obsidian shade as the ones floating around his head, only this one was flowing with greens and blues. He reached a hand to pick it up and the stone flowed a curious green that sought the touch of his hand. Looking at it with fascination, he stood up slowly, and suddenly there was an explosion, like a mountain being ripped apart by dynamite. He jumped and looked up in time to see the sun exploding, and as the heat washed over the fields of grass like a plague, Minh stood and held out his arms. As the heat washed over him, he closed his eyes and felt wet.
Kagu chuckled darkly, the sound carrying like the rushing of rivers. He flicked more water at Minh's sleeping form, watching it splash onto his forehead. The Half-elf jumped and wiped the water from his forehead. He looked up and blinked the tiredness from his eyes as he saw the dark form before him.
Standing at a full 4'9" The Demi-fey's wingspan was quite large. He had some of the most beautiful wings Minh had ever seen. They were shaped and patterened exactly as a Butterfly's but they were a vibrant blue and black mizture that glistened as if permanently wet. His face was curled into a grin and his sharp rows of teeth capable of tearing dragon hide gleamed in stark contrast with his ebon skin. As Minh awoke, he folded his arms across his slender, bear chest, and rested his weight on one foot. His wings fanned slowly like a butterfly resting as he spoke, "So, Swirly-face. You look like you lost a fight with a tree." He laughed again and looked him over as Minh struggled to his feet, "Actually, I lost a fight with gravity." He smiled.
The Fae laughed and blew a stray strand of his blue-streaked, black hair away from his face, "Pae wanted to let you know that she found a use for that bed you gave us. It makes a great door to keep Pablo in his cage." he said casually. Pablo was the pet bunny that Kagu's mate, Paix had captured. The bunny was dead, because Paix controls storms and lightning, and accidentally shocked, hugged, and strangled the thing to death with affection. Niether of them truly realized it.
"A friend and I are hurt. We got attacked by humans." Minh explained, getting right to the problem, "We need help. We need healing. My arm is broken." he mumbled and held it up to show him. The Fae tilted his head and nodded then looked Minh in the eye,
"What will you give us for it." He asked without a hint of humor. He was all business now. And it was upt to Minh to work out how to get the most out of this deal without giving too much. Sometimes, with Fae, it was simple. They found certain meaningless objects to fascinating. But other times, it could lead to a life of servitude to the Faery... It was a dangerous game to play, but it could be well worth the risk. It was last time...

Gazing at the twinkling trinket which was in her grasp, Slyvia felt slightly at ease for a few moments. It was as if the golden butterfly which was etched into it was causing her soul to calm itself, something that was rather rare, ever since she had gotten the demon inside of her. But, of course, as soon as she thought of this her demon once again poped up. Again, attempting to try and take over, it wrapped its arms around her soul and rested its chin upon her shoulder. This of course made her soul flustered, as the pose in which they were in were associated with a couple's, and she wouldn't want to even touch the dark creature in that way, so to have it touch her naked soul was quite embarrassing. But, for once, it seemed to have calmed down. Its red eyes, using her vision, was gazing at the trinket as well. It didn't speak, which was very rare, as usually it whispered into her ear, trying to bait her in. But now it was just staring silently, and if she wasn't mistaken, was pulling her closer to its own body. This was enough to set her off, she closing her eyes, her lips going into a deep frown, she pushed back her demon and locked it in the back of her mind. It had been acting strange for a while now, and for some reason, it troubled her slightly.
Not realizing she had fallen asleep, only realizing that when she opened her eyes she felt dazed and tired, she picked up faint murmurs from behind the tree, where Minh was supposedly still sleeping. They had a rather strange accent, something that could be picked up with certain words they said. She knew they couldn't be human, they were something else. So, slightly worried that they were creatures that were after Minh while he slept, she took a deep breath as she forced herself onto her feet, wincing as she felt yet more blood pulse out of her wounds. She began to regret ever flying, but she was still glad she got the trinket, and her bag. So, placing the golden trinket into her bag, making sure it was safe, she limped her way around the tree, only to be surprised at what she saw.
Examining the creature whom was in front of Minh, who was no longer asleep, Slyvia blinked her baby blue eyes as she took a few steps forward. Looking at the delicate wings that sprouted from its back, she was reminded of her own wings, only that they were not nearly as delicate looking. Plus, one of her wings were injured, making it spread in an awkward way, something that didn't look anything as delicate and beautiful at the strange creature's.
Remembering her ripped clothing, a blush coming onto her pale cheeks as she remembered, she tried to casually cover her bare bloody stomach with her working wing as she bent down, her gaze not looking away from the creature. Listening to what it said, she guessed that this was the creature in which Minh wanted to go to to get healed. This creature could really heal their wounds? But, what it said troubled her. What was Minh willing to give just for them to become well?
Sitting down cross legged, her back aching from bending for so long, she continued to stare silently, although her gaze flew from the winged creature to Minh. She felt the urge to say something, to offer something of value, but she couldn't put her mind on anything. Wrapping a finger around her black locks, something she did when she was thinking, she stared at the ground, trying to think of something, anything to give up to offer. She didn't want to know what the half elf was willing to give, but knowing him it would be something valuable. His life? No, he was trying to heal himself, the whole reason this creature was here in the first place. . . .Then what would he offer?

Kagu, much like Minh when he wasn't broken, was always in motion. They were different movements than Minh, where Minh always seemed to have a beat, Kagu's motion was more like the lapping of waves against the shore. His deep, aqua eyes fell toward Sylvia and a large, sharp-toothed grin fell over his ebon features, "What have we here?" he asked slowly and his wings opened and closed in excitement. He inspected her a bit, staring at her wing in particular. He was a Demi-fey, and where other fey could grow back lost wings, Demi-fey only get one pair their entire lives. Which could be a long time, since they were truly immortal.
He flexed his fingers and looked at Minh, "What kind of monster shoots for the wings? Drow?" He asked angrily and looked around the clearing. He made his way to one of the dead bodies, took out a knife from his short, black pants, and proceeded to slice the head off. As he was doing so, Minh responded, "They are monsters... Most of them, anyway..." He fell silent again before speaking. He hadn't intended it, but he had found the dark stone from his dream in his pocket, and decided to offer that to the Fae in payment. He wasn't sure what it was, or where it came from, but it was definitely worth something.
"I have this odd... Stone." He began as Kagu pull the head away from the body. He swiveled on his heel, and some leftover blood spattered about. Kagu had a black rose in one hand and the head held by the hair in the other. He casually jammed the rose into the left eyeball and discarded the head casually, bored of it as he spotted the stone Minh had just produced, "Oh my.... What is this?" He asked, his voice small and curious. Almost childlike despite his age. He picked up the stone and turned it over in his hands, then bit it. As he bit it, his sharp teeth scraped the stone, and crimson sparks flew about from it's surface. They tingled the roof of his mouth and he instantly fell in love. "Deal." He said quickly.
Minh was shocked. He blinked a few times and asked, "Y-you're sure?" As he attempted to stand again. He held out his hand, "Shake on it?" He asked. Fae, if they were known for anything other than their tricks, it was their honesty. Fae could not lie. And they never broke oaths. If they said they would do something, they would. Which was why negotiations were so delicate with them. you had to make sure the wording was precise or they'd get away with murder.
"Yeah, sure..." He said and shrugged, then pulled out a bag from his seemingly-massive pockets on his pants, "Rub this paste in the wounds, and on the outside of your elbow... It's been all done up with glamour to heal." he said, dropping the sack tied with leaves in front of Minh, "And I'm off to find Pae." He said, sounding rather bored now as he turned and shrunk to the size of a praying mantis before fluttering off into the forest without another word.
Minh was stunned and speechless. He hadn't noticed Sylvia standing there until now, and he still had nothing to say. Normally it was a long, drawn-out process to deal with them. Either that stone was worth much more than he thought, or Kagu had just been so fascinated by the thing that it didn't matter.
"This isn't over yet, I'm sure there's more he'll get me for... But for now..." He said when he found his words a few minutes later. He wasn't telling the whole truth, he was usually a bad liar and it showed on his face even as he trid to bite it back, "Rest up, heal up..." He gave a half-smile and slumped back against the tree, too exhausted to move.
There would be much more extreme leverage required, and he would pay it, but he didn't want Sylvia worrying. 'She's got enough on her plate with her gifts... Best to deal with this alone.'
His voices chatted with himself. He had undergone a sort of sundering of his soul. There was this hole in him now. He had taken another's life in cold blood. It stung and ate at his conscious, but he fought it off and fell asleep rather quickly.Added a tiny bit at the end. FElt it didn't explain as much. -

Not expecting the fairy like creature to speak, she was startled slightly when she heard his comment. Gazing towards her bandaged wing, raising her hand as she tightened the small bloody piece of fabric, she noted that it was a cheap move to aim for the wings, an obvious weakness for her. But alas, humans hardly ever paid fair, especially on a hunt. The resentment she felt for the species made her black feathers rustle uneasily. Following the Fae, wincing as she saw him cut off the dead humans body, she could feel the blood lust of her demon urge her to do the same. To feast on human blood and flesh, like she had done so before but hours ago, a memory which made her empty stomach turn, so with an almost look on her face, she brought up her knees and wrapped her arms around them. She wished she could get rid of the evil being which dwelled within her, but she knew it was impossible, this being confirmed as her demon cackled. Seeing the odd stone that was given, and seeing the result, needless to say Slyvia was quite confused. She thought it would have been a lot more difficult, and yet the Fae took the offer of a measly stone? It seemed as if Minh had the same thought as her, as he seemed to be in a rush to make sure that it was a deal. Still, worried her somewhat. There had to be a catch with this deal, something she didn't know about it. Or maybe she was just over thinking things, as per usual. It didn't seem as if he was lying, as he seemed delighted with his new possession as he flew off, leaving the odd item with them, which would supposedly heal all of their wounds. "Hnn, I guessed as much." Saying softly, her gaze going up to the sky as she fell backwards, sighing as she spread out her wings, too tired to worry about her bare patch of skin which was revealed from her ripped clothing. It was already twilight, the purple haze coming down upon the orange, and a few early stars were twinkling. Her mind wandered as to what else would the Fae come back to get. . .was it something from her or Minh? Maybe both of them? Staring up at the sky, watching as the purple eventually took over the orange, revealing the night to them, she noticed that Minh had hardly said anything. Raising herself up, she found him to be fast asleep. A small smile cracked onto her lips, it was good that he got some sleep. Besides, she felt like being on her own for a while. So, taking a deep breath, she jumped onto her feet. With her wings laying back lifelessly behind her, she began to walk into the middle of the clearing. Once in the middle of the clearing, she sat down, arching her wings forward to try and lessen the pain from her injured wing. Once she was settled, she looked up towards the starry sky once more, brushing back her strands of hair which were in her eyes. It was here that she felt an overwhelming sense of emotion wash over her, causing tears to fill up into her eyes. Why, once more she was not sure, but she allowed herself to let the tears flow. It felt good to allow them, instead of resisting. Of course she did it all silently, not wanting to cause any more needless attention to be attracted to her. She was so used to being alone anyway, so bringing up her knees once more, feeling a chilling wind go through her, she buried her face in them as she continued to cry. Today had been a hard day.

His body was broken in several places. A few ribs, one of his fingers, his left collar bone from the fall, and his ankle was sprained. His body was exhausted, bleeding, and all he did was sleep.
The silent, emotional uproar taking place in the clearing fell to deaf ears, but he picked it up in reflections in his dreams. every now and then, during a dream phase, he'd run into a trapped girl who looked terrified while staring into her own reflection. Each time he would try to help her, he would accidentally look into the reflection himself, and would see a dark, demonic figure behind both of them. When he would turn around to confront it, it would vanish. And when he turned back to the girl, only a small, black feather remained where she once was. He would collect the feather, and continue his dreams as if nothing happened. By the time he would awake the next morning, he would have collected a hat full of feathers. If he wore a hat. Which he didn't. And his inner self was apt to remind him of this. It liked to focus on trivial things.
One of his dreams was a repeat of the stones and female one, but minus one stone this time. That troubled him a bit, he wasn't sure whether he had given part of himself away, or if it was just his dream. Either way, no matter what dream he had, he always walked behind another him. They would chat, and talk, and discuss all manner of philosophies. He figured it was his violent side, the primal, instinct-driven sidfe of him that emerged during the fight. He never knew that side existed, but he could see the cold, calculations behind his own eyes. It wasn't another person in him, it was all him... It was just a side of him he was just discovering. And he didn't turn it away. He had spent his own life running from fights, avoiding other children for insulting his mixed blood. But now he stood and defended himself. He defended someone else, too. And he loved it.
He was open to any and all suggestions of himself, even the violent and unruly. That's not to say he would become a murder, but rather he's more apt and confident in his own abilities to stand up for himself, and those he deems worthy of the title. While never giving up his wandering ways, he would certainly grow into wider areas, perhaps assassination work, or mercenary work. Of course, he would only take contracts that he deemed worthy on a basis of honor, and dignity. But it's all the same...
He would wake slowly and calmly the next day as the morning sun beamed through the partly cloudy sky, casting greyish shadows about the loud forest morning. Should we stop it here? I'm fine to keep going. Up to you, it's your RP ^_^ -

After having yet another emotional breakdown, although this time she wasn't crying out or anything, she recovered herself and with a slight positive attitude she stood once more, trying to ignore the small pain which still shot through her wing, although it couldn't compare to what it used to be like. At least she didn't feel the wound in her stomach anymore.
It must had been the middle of night, as by now the darkness had taken over at the moon which was high in the sky made everything appear silver. It reminded her of last night, when she hunted, and met Minh. It felt like years ago since that had happened
With a soft smile, she took a step forward, only to jump back, her hands flying to her mouth as her eyes widened. In front of her, a black figure stood. It looked slightly like her, its pale skin and black hair, except its eyes were completely red and the wings which sprouted out of its back had a more curved shape to it and were a lot larger. Assuming that it was an enemy, she went into a fighting stance, only to stop as pain shot through her arm and wing. She wasn't ready to fight just yet, she was useless.
Taking a few steps backwards, a hard look on her face, she wondered who this person, or thing, was. She recognized it, like it was an old friend, except she knew she didn't. She didn't no anyone who had wings like herself, she would remember, and yet she knew it. Standing upright, a confused look coming onto her face, she stared at it silently, noticing that it seemed to be frowning at her. Then, with a soft voice, it said, extending its arms as if it wanted a hug.
"Why have you become so different my dear? Do you think just because you find a person whom may understand you, everything will work out? You can't trust anyone but me. . .no one but me." Sadness was in every word, at its frown grew as it spoke further. Surprised, she realized why she knew this being so well. It was her demon. Still confused, wondering why it was in a form of any sort outside of her mind, she stated.
"Why are you here?" Putting down its arms, tilting its head to the side, it smiled as it gently put.
"This is a dream, my dear." Blinking, looking around, she wondered how she could feel pain from her wing if she was asleep. That was one way to tell reality away from a dream wasn't it? This thought was soon cast away as she felt a pair of arms wrap around her, bringing her close. As if someone had zipped her lips shut, she couldn't say anything. She couldn't even move, not with its arms wrapped tightly around her. Resting its head upon her shoulder, heaving a deep sigh, it stared at her with its red eyes, a frown still etched onto its lips. She realized then that it looked male, its face angled like a man, and it appeared to be the same age as her. She didn't think her demon had any gender, or age. She always saw it as a shadow, but now she saw its face. It was rather disturbing in a way. Plus, she was right against its body, another thing which made her extremely uncomfortable and vulnerable, but alas she couldn't do anything about it.
Turning its gaze to a tree across from where they both stood, it gave an odd sound, like a growl. Releasing her, causing her to quickly jump away, she followed to gaze of her demon, only to see it looking at Minh. Well, apparently, a image of Minh she had made up in her dream. He was still under the tree sleeping peacefully. But it seemed as if her demon had other plans, as it stalked over to the sleeping figure. Scared as to what would happen, even though she knew it was just an image, she followed in pursuit.
Arriving before her, it stopped. Not saying a word, it raised its hand, and with a twitch of his index finger caused a huge gash to open up on Minh's neck, causing blood to flow out. Sprinting the final few meters, she landed on her knees as she yelped, placing her hands in the blood, only to bring them up and look at shock at the precious liquid which was coming out. Even though it wasn't the real Minh, it felt too much like it was him, causing her to cry, a reaction which didn't please the dark creature which was beside her, watching her silently. Growling once more, it grabbed the bleeding half elf and held it by the throat, causing the image to wake up and begin to struggle, gasping for air like a fish.
"Why do you care what happens to this fool?! Can't you see that he is nothing like you, he doesn't care for you. You are nothing but a freak to him, he's just lying to your face, too kind to hurt your precious little feelings!" Fuming with anger, it threw the body against rock, causing the neck to snap and for the body to slump forwards dead, bursting in a cloud of golden butterflies which flew into the night sky. Already on her feet, pressing her hands to her mouth as she stared helplessly at the scene, getting too shaken up at the fact that it looked so real, even if it wasn't. But, it also scared her at the fact that what the demon said might be true. Burying her face in her hands, feeling tears slide down her face, she shook her head quickly as she said.
"No! I don't care what you say! I hate you, go away! I don't want this evil in me! GO AWAY!" Shouting this, her hands now in fists, she backed away until she met the bark of a tree. Sliding down onto her feet once more, she continued to shake her head, even when she heard the footsteps and crushing of grass as it knelt down in front of her. Not seeing its face, she could tell it was still angry, as it said softly, almost as if it were warning her.
"Don't get close to him Slyvia, if you do, I'll take over."
Jumping up, startled, she gasped a lungful of air as she jumped to her feet, only to regret it as pain once more shot through her wing, causing her to wince. Looking around, noting that it was now the morning, the sun covered by the clouds which covered the sky, she began to realize that it was a dream. She had fallen asleep. It wasn't real. Still, even as she turned around and saw Minh, alive, she couldn't help but pause. Tears flooded her eyes as she buried her face inside of her hands.
[OOC: No I don't mind if we keep on going, just don't expect quick replies on weekdays, my homework can get quite overwhelming sometimes :'D]

His movements were fluid. His steps were precise. His swings, arches and parries were magnificicent. His form was perfect. Minh danced and spun to dodge the large, black, clawed fingers only to block the second set with his starknife. He was on the retreat, but more or less he was outmanuevering his opponent. He had never seen anything like this man. Then again, he didn't have much experience to base the man's skills on. He seemed good. Really good. Another twist to the right to dodge a foot, followed by a ducking below a hand, then bringing his own weapon up and barely missing the chest. The figure moved backward and then sprung at him. Minh sank into a nearby shadow and appeared behind his opponent with his starknife already flying out of his fist toward the shadowy figure.
No doubt this was a dream... It had occured when he decided to change his reactions a bit. Instead of looking behind him when he looked into the girl's reflection, he dove toward the object of reflection. In this case it was a broken mirror in a desolate town. The realm he now stood and fought in was completely white and blank, but every now and then a tree would appear from nowhere, casting shadows in every direction.
The Starknife flew toward it's mark and it seemed as if it was about to hit, but it continued through the form without doing harm and returned to his hand. Minh's chest was heaving, and he was becoming tired in his own dream. It was an interesting revelation. The creature came at him again, and he ducked by pushing his right leg out straight, sliding it away from him while his left leg curled under him. He was sitting on his heel, when he spun his right leg backward, turning himself away from the downward stroke. He then fluidly switched feet, leaning on his right leg and sliding his left leg around to connect solidly with the heel of the creature.
A large crash followed, and Minh leapt into the air, coming down on the chest of his foe and slashing an 'x' from shoulder to hip then shoving the blades into it's throat. The creature's red, glowing eyes glared back before dissolving into a clay-like liquid to reveal his own dead face staring back at him. Minh rocked back, as he felt the blood on his own chest and neck. His eyes glazed over and he slumped off of his own chest to the impossibly white floor, staining it with crimson.
Minh had been having a lot of dreams of him dying lately. It was odd, but not unpleasant. There was always a serene feeling of calm acceptance toward the end.
His eyes opened slowly to the warm sunlight that fought it's way through the cloud and tree cover. The area still smelled of death, and his chest, arm, and ankle throbbed painfully, but he was otherwise alright. Relief crossed his features when he spotted Sylvia and realised she was alright as well.
"What an interesting dream..." He mumbled as he glanced around and woke up with no hurry or rush.

Forcing herself to stop her pathetic tears, she composed herself once more as she took away her hands, wiping away any tears roughly as she turned away from Minh, deciding to take a look around. As her stomach growled, she felt the urge to go hunt, but she knew she wasn't half as strong enough. She needed to find food soon though, as her metabolism was quick, so she needed to take in quite a lot of calories each day, although she hardly ever reached the minimum.
Deciding to comprise, instead of straining herself, she found a large bush where blackberries flourished. It wouldn't last her for very long, but she knew it was better then nothing, so she bent down and began to pick the ripe juicy blackberries, something that would take her mind away from her rather disturbing dream. What her demon had said before she woke up had confused and worried her, what did it mean? Was it actually serious, would it really take over, even if she resisted? A shiver ran up her spine at the thought, remembering how she was when she let a little bit of its power out, so she forced herself to focus on her task, looking at the berries to make sure no bugs were in them. It was a minor task, so her mind wandered often, and soon she found it didn't help, so with a sigh she finished her picking and walked back to the tree with a handful of ripe berries, although she knew this would hardly be enough.
With slow steps, she finally made it back to her bag, which she unwrapped and placed the berries in. Staring at the trinket once more, which glinted from the rays of the sun which broke through the cloud, she was once more reminded of her dream as she remembered how Minh's body bursted into golden butterflies. It seemed as if she just couldn't get her mind out of that odd dream, and that too frightened her slightly, as it seemed as if her demon remembered too, as she could sense the satisfaction it gained from her remembering. Did it plan for her to have a dream like that? Did it use some of its power? That didn't seem unlikely anyway.
Hearing rustling from Minh, she raised her bowed head and was surprised to find him awake. She was expecting him to be asleep for the day, with those injuries anyway. Picking up her bag, which held the blackberries, she walked over towards the half elf and sat down, arching her wings back, a way which made them hurt less. Pushing the bag towards him, after grabbing a handful for herself, she threw one in, her gaze turned up towards the now bright blue sky, the clouds having disappeared mysteriously. Then, after eating her blackberry and throwing a few more into her mouth, she said.
"So. . .have a nice sleep?" Saying with a soft smile on her lips, she continued to gaze up towards the sky, throwing the rest of the berries into her mouth as she placed her hands by her side. She wasn't sure if she would be able to look him in the eyes, not with that dream still fresh in her mind.

His mind was dulled with natural painkillers, his body was recovering. He had a more recuperative sleep, despite his dreaming, than most. While asleep, he could do many more things than most. Though other followers of Desna could do the same thing. There just weren't many of them. "Sure, I suppose." He responded after a short silence fell between them. He glanced over at her, but he wasn't very , even watching Sylvia eat the berries. He just wasn't in the mood. He felt a bit unsettled by the last dream he had. His mind, or perhaps even Desna was trying to tell him something... Was he leading to his own destruction? Or was he changing? Death in dreams often signified a new beginning, or significant change in one's life. Perhaps this was his mind telling him he is changing, or perhaps it was just a reflection on a new-found friend. Either way, it was something he wanted to dwell on more. He often went into seclusion. He was used to it. As used to it as breathing or eating or sleeping. He was never much of a people person except when entertaining. That's not to say he was awkward around people, but just that he preferred isolation for long periods of time and social interaction in little bursts, "And yourself?" He inquired, "My dreams treat me to wonderous new ideas... What do your dreams carry to your mind?" It was a question he often asked other followers of Desna. It was a way of getting in touch with the Goddess, remembering one's dreams. He quite enjoyed the company of this strange girl, for the simple fact that he felt she knew seclusion as much as he did. A sort of kinship in not sharing kinship with anyone else. A twisted, but exciting way of looking at things. The Harlequin sat against the tree cradling his arm, contemplating yesterday, and perhaps what he would do today, "I wonder what's to happen now...?" He thought aloud, "Now that I'm a murderer as much as those idiotic men..."

Licking her lips, which were sticky from the juice of the blackberries, she noticed how he ended with a 'suppose'. Was he lying to her, or did he even know if he had a good sleep or not? It made her slightly confused, although she didn't show it on her face, which was full of childish curiosity as she stared up at the sky, watching a flock of unknown birds dart in the sky. This made her own wings flutter slightly, but she knew she wasn't ready to take flight yet, even though she wished to.
Although she had expected his question as to how her sleep was, she wasn't sure if she could answer it. She didn't have a good one, one of her worst anyway, but she didn't want to tell him. Perhaps it was because she was not used to people asking her, so because of this, she often kept her real thoughts inside, sprouting lies whenever people asked. So, although she regretted it, she replied as casual as possible, although she couldn't hide her slight frown which grew on her lips.
"Yeah. . .my sleep was pretty good too." Confused by his question, she brought down her arched head, her brow raised. Where did her dreams carry her? Pausing, looking down towards the ground, she tried to make it so what she said didn't arouse any suspicion. Then, as casual as she could make it, she replied.
"Hnn, well I'm not too sure. I suppose I see into my real self, see what I'm thinking, what I want. . .what I desire." It was odd referring to her demon as herself, it was almost as if she knew herself that she was attached to the creature, whether she liked it or not. But, she knew saying that she was looking into someone else's mind would just seem weird, so to her it was an easy approach to answer the question.
Gazing towards her, her blue orbs watching his movements, she wasn't really too surprised to hear that he seemed to still think of himself as a murderer. He seemed like that sort of person that would blame himself. However, sighing, she raised her hand, and while twirling it around as she spoke.
"Well, even if you are a murderer, you did help me. So technically you aren't a murderer, I'm sure your great god person will understand that, so don't call yourself a murderer, it doesn't suit your soul. And, well, I suppose we'll just let things happen naturally anyway, no need to worry." Again, it was odd for her to have such a positive attitude. She was usually a sort of pessimistic person, always looking on the dark side, never seeing the light. Yet today, her heart and mind seemed to be warmer, even though her disturbing dream still played fresh in her mind. Perhaps the half elf's ways were rubbing off her. It seemed likely, especially because she thought quite highly of the small butterfly trinket in which Minh gave her.
Not saying anymore, feeling a bit embarrassed by what she said, she bent forward and grabbed another handful of berries, as her stomach was beginning to grumble again. Then, lying down on the grass, she began to pop in the small blackberries again, staring once more up towards the sky, entranced by the small white fluffy clouds which moved slowly past in the warm breeze.

Minh turned his eyes down to stare into the forest, watching the golden, early morning rays play through the trees like divine fingers touching Earth. He had heard the tone of her voice when she responded to his question about sleep. He could almost hear the frown in it. The way you can sometimes tell if someone is smiling even without seeing their face. His eyes searched a moment and glanced toward her then back to the forest, "Dreams tell you many things. Sometimes your mind just wanders to the fansical thoughts, sometimes it's a re-cap of your day... And other times your mind is trying to warn you about something. There could be many, many deciphering of dreams... None of which can be done without first expressing what the dream was." He offered, in his roundabout way, to decipher any dreams she was having. "Being a follower of Desna, I have been constantly asked to decipher dreams, and so learned about. Becoming interested myself, and even becoming rather good at it." Eyes turned upon her again in scrutiny to her reactions, "Care to have it done?" He asked.
His voice was distant, far off. It didn't sound like his own, but he knew it was. He was in a dazed state of mind, just running on instinct and sitting in his skin as if it was someone else's and he was just watching through their eyes. His mind inside wondered and wandered on what he should do, and what COULD he do.
Minh froze for a moment and shuddered as she spoke. His eyes shut softly, and he bit back tears, "You didn't see..." He started, letting the memory float into his mind, "You didn't hear his screams of agony while I jammed my thumbs into his eye sockets." Finally the words found voice after holding it in. He had murdered in cold blood, "Whatever way you, myself, or anyone else justifies it. It was murder and there's no changing that fact. I'm not totally upset by it. I was clear in conscience when it happened. I am clear now. It was a little over-the-top and the memory will haunt me, but it's part of me. It's who I am, who I always was. It was just being surpressed for years and years and finally found it's outlet." He half-smirked in a sadistic yet sad sort of way as he admitted, "I enjoyed it." flatly.
He pushed himself up on the tree to stand and stumbled around a bit to stretch his legs, "So what now? What will you do? What will we do? I certainly don't want to go near any towns... That would just be suicide. Besides, I still owe Kagu. Not sure what that man's gonna cook up but at least he gave us the good stuff. Maybe I'll have a visit to the Sithen. They said I was welcome there. The Queenie likes me." He laughed and winked, then continued, "You want to come?"
He stood there staring at Sylvia, waiting for her reply. He was getting antsy and wanted to be moving. He hated staying in one spot too long. It just wasn't part of his nature, and so staying in this same area for the past few days was really getting to him. Like an itch in the back of your throat.

He was able to decipher dreams? For some reason, she wasn't surprised. Perhaps it was because he seemed to be able to do everything already that by now she wouldn't even be surprised if he could summon a dragon by just whistling. This made a soft laugh break from her lips, but it was soon cut short as she heard his offer. She was in a pickle, because if she didn't agree he would become suspicious and would probably try to find out what she was dreaming about. However, on the other hand, if she allowed him to try and figure out her dream, he may find out about her demon's threat, which still bothered her. Right now, she didn't want him to find out about her demon at all, although she sometimes wondered did he already know. So, again trying to act casual, she shrugged as she said in a slightly bored tone, although she could feel his eyes on her.
"Hnn, suppose, it would be interesting." She was worried that she would say something that would make her slip up, and so have him figure out that inside she had a demon who wanted to take over her.
Lifting up her right hand, placing it in front of her, she stared at it, entranced as she moved her fingers. Her fingers were so delicate, and the thing which amazed her the most, her hand was human. The veins under her skin still pumped blood, she still had pink delicate flesh, and bones which could break rather easily. She was surprised sometimes to not see her skin rotting or her nails turn into claws, as the usual description of a devil. But no, she still had human limbs, and this was really the only thing that kept her alive, and make her feel human. To know that without her wings, she would look human.
Her mind snapped back into attention as she heard the rather odd speech come out of Minh's lips. It didn't seem to suit him, this dark talk. Turning her gaze towards him, her blue orbs curious as she watched the smirk which grew, she couldn't help but laugh. She wasn't sure why she laughed, but to her it seemed funny. Perhaps it was because this felt like a dream, that everything was upside down. Closing her eyes, she began to wave her raised hand back and forth, as if she were conducting an orchestra. Then, as she continued to wave her hand, her fingers moving from time to time, she replied.
"Well, I know how you feel. The only thing is when I kill. . .I'm--" She paused for a moment, unsure how to continue, but after carefully wording her words she continued. "--I'm not exactly myself, but yet I'm still there, seeing it being played out like a movie. Like you, I don't hate it, in fact it's something I crave. There's no point in thinking too much about it, yes you did murder someone. But know by doing it you saved someone's life, course that doesn't change the fact that you liked it. It's a complicated predicament, but hey, don't hate yourself just because you liked something. It doesn't work that easily, just embrace it. But hey, what do I know, people take murder in different ways." It amused her slightly as she talked that it seemed as if Minh too had a dark demon which was the complete opposite of what he wished to be, like her. But she knew it wasn't like that, and so she soon cast that thought aside.
Watching him silently as he stood up, she followed his actions, although she was a bit wobbly. Placing a hand on a tree as she walked forward to steady herself, once she found her balance, she stretched both of her arms, her bones cracking as they stretched. Then, placing them down by her side, she gave another shrug, a sly grin on her lips as she said, an eyebrow raised.
"Well, I'll tag along, as long as you don't mind a weird winged girl as company." Giving a little laugh towards the end, she walked through a few trees, trying to make herself become a bit more stable. Then, once she found her balance, she pressed her wings against her spine, tightening the fabric on her wing before she did so. Gazing down her stomach, she cringed as she remembered that her clothing was torn, and so revealed her bloody stomach, but she tried to ignore it as she tightened the blood stained cloth.
She too was eager to move. Having being so weak and useless for a day was unlike her, as usually she was flying through the air like a free bird, so being injured and not being able to move had unsettled her. She felt like doing something productive, mostly to rid her mind of the dream which kept on coming into her mind.

Minh smiled and almost broke into a laugh,
"I don't know what I feel about it. I'm not afraid of that part of myself. It's who I am, it was just waiting for a way to vent. Apparently shoving my fingers into some not a very nice person's eye sockets was just such the outlet I needed." He turned and began walking, expecting her to follow,
"I've never known this side of me because I've always ran or hid, or just avoided conflict. Now I know that I can actually handle myself in a fight. Maybe not open fighting, but I can strike from shadows, right? And I'm good at it. I'm not good at cooking, or math, or writing. I can read, but I can't write. Isn't that odd? There are a lot of things I can't do, and a lot of things I CAN do. I just find all the opportunities I can to use what skills I have to my advantage." Minh stepped over a trunk and winced a bit as he put more weight on his ankle. He almost stumbled, but righted himself with the tree and kept moving. As they were walking, Minh's head was on a swivel, as if he was looking for something. After about fifteen minutes he found it: A tree with low branches, hanging over some brush. He moved up to it and placed a hand against the tree, whispering something to it before putting both hands on the branch, cracking upward, downward, then twisting and ripping the branch off. He used some of the paste Kagu, the Faery boy, had given them and rubbed it in the tree's fresh wound before fixing the branch he removed into a walking stick to aid his ankle.
It wasn't that he was good at everything. Sure it might seem that way to some, but this was his world. The forests and jungles were his grounds, his home. He had lived alongside them his entire life, and spent the better part of that among them. He just knew how to apply the skills he had to almost any situation. Resourcefulness was the better word for it. He was very resourceful.
"You can't find the Faery Mounds. I can't, you can't. No mortal man or woman can. Even though I technically no where it is, I could be looking for it for the rest of my life and never find it. You have to be guided there by one of them." He explained, and used the stick to suppport his weight in place of his bad ankle,
"That's why we're going towards the river. Well two reasons. One: Water. Two: I can find Kagu. He's a river Pixie, you see. Loves the water and all that. Usually hangs around with his mate. She's a storm pixie. Interesting little creatures they are. And intelligent, if not insane." he chuckled while picking his way through the forest.
It would take some travel time to get there, so Minh brought up some rules,
"Rules for dealing with Fae: 1: Do not make any deals with them. 2: Do not stare at them for too long. Try to avert your eyes at all costs. 3: Most of the time nothing is as it seems. 4: DO NOT Eat their food. 5: Stay close to me and do not wander."
He made sure the fourth one was emphasized as well as the fifth.
