I'll end up working on this more for awhile, but this is the beef of it.
Name: Kasimir Zakan Vladov
Age: Unclear
Race: Human
Physical Description
Height: 5'7
Weight: 160lbs
Skin Color: Pale White
Eye Color: Gray
Hair: Comes down to mid-neck, even on sides and back. Color: Stark White
Clothing: Usually wears a finely tailored black jacket with silver embroidery over a white vest, gray silk slacks, held by a leath belt with a gold buckle, that tucks into his heavy work boots, worn, muddy and scuffed with age, an odd contrast to his rather expensive clothing. Also wears dark red gloves with silver cuffs, and a red bandanna that often hangs around his neck like an ascot, which he pulls up onto his face while at "work". Has a simple silver amulet around his neck, tucked into his jacket, as well as several rings on both hands under his gloves.
Personality: Kasimir is extremely light-hearted for someone who works with death so often, or at least appears to be. He acts very casually in almost any situation, known to hum to himself and even hold up conversations as he practices his grim art, and is well-tempered enough, though sometimes has brief flashes of anger, often leaving someone with a nasty scar or worse. These flashes are few, and don't last long. Walks around with an air of confidence, almost arrogance, and is very cunning when it comes to conversation. Often responds to insults and criticisms with vicious sarcasm or cruel remarks. Is a bit inclined towards drinking, but manages to keep his head on when he does it too heavily.
Equipment
Weapons: 3ft channeling rod, primarily for the purpose of amplifing magical abilites. Made of obsidian and topped with a silver skull.
Items:
-Large, leather bound tome containing basic spells, alchemic recipes, and various designs for necromantic creations.
-Set of knives, ranging from Butcher's Knife to Scalpel, not intended for combat.
-Heavy Duty Sewing kit, stitches, forceps, clamps, bandages various other surgical equipment.
-A few flasks, mostly containing water, alcohol or corpse preservatives. Appropriately labelled, of course.
-Several scrolls with prepared rituals and spells.
History: As far as anyone knows, Kasimir doesn't have a past. He never mentions it, and no one who knows him cares to ask. Not so much avoided, as not brought up.
An avid necromancer, he spends most of his free time digging up bodies, making new ones, or shaping them into something completely different from their origin. Officially, he says he's an Undertaker. The other part of his free time is spent in the pub or travelling, as he likes to meet new people and see new places, even if his interest in them is quickly exhausted.
Despite his grim expertise, he has no real evil ambitions, and is just as likely to help someone save a village as to help another person raze it.
Skills:
Fighting
Fist Fighting: Kasimir is not a trained fighter, or one with much practice. He doesn't like to fight someone physically, but know's where to strike enough to be able to take down an untrained, or unprepared opponent. However, any alert, skilled fighter could easily dispatch of Kasimir one on one. Even someone with enough body protection wouldn't have any trouble incapacitating him.
Magic
General: Kasimir is a fairly powerful spell-caster, able to conjure up enough energy to power his necromantic needs, or cast a few more basic spells to defend himself if a problem arises, but seems to lack a higher knowledge of most magic, outside of his chief areas of practice. He has difficulty sustaining the effects of his magic, and tires quickly from using too many spells in a short period of time.
Necromancy: Necromancy isn't a skill or form of magic for him, it's an art, and Kasimir is an extrodianary artist (if you ask him). He doesn't practice it by raising whole graveyards or massive beasts. Instead, he uses his imagination surgical skill, and the power to shape flesh and bone however he pleases. He constructs Undead Monstrosities, ranging from multi-limbed humans to distorted masses of flesh shaped into the form capable of serving whatever Kasimir wishes it to. It's unpleasant, disturbing, and often times many people die either from the gathering of materials to the results of letting the undead loose. He is quite capable of raising a sizable undead force if the need arises. However, his ability to control the undead is limited to small groups or single entities, so in most situations, Kasimir would only be able to summon a few undead at a time, or one very large and powerful one.
Pyromancy: Almost as often as Kasimir raises the undead, he calls down the elemental force of fire to dispose of them. Whenever one of his creations is too strong to be defeated by someone else nearby, or is not made for the purpose of combat, and yet fails to meet Kasimir's standards, he incinerates them without regret. His pyromancy isn't as refined as his necromancy, and serves the simple needs of waste disposal, or in the extreme, self defence. Being an art he is less than practiced in, any on the spot or unprepared spells involving fire will most likely be weak or possibly completely backfire.
Other
Anatomical Knowledge: As someone who spends much time around the bodies of humans, dwarfs, elves or other various races, Kasimir has an extensive knowledge of how their bodies work. This doesn't come into use much outside of his necromancy, but if some unlucky thief decides to rob Kasimir, their likely to end up on the ground, not knowing why the time of day has changed.
Surgical Skill: Kasimir is a skilled surgeon, and although mainly used for necromancy, his knowledge of the blade and the conditions of a body allows him to be as capable of healing some wounds as many Clerics.
Alchemy: Kasimir has an above average knowledge of potion making, and often tries to expand this knowledge. Capable of making some medicinal concoctions, and quite a few preservatives and poisons.
Major Strengths/Weaknesses
Strengths
-Able to create advanced Undead Creatures, capable of succesfully doing anything they were designed to do.
-Able to cast powerful spells of various types
-Extremely skilled non-magical healer
-Capable of preparing a limited amount of alchemical potions
-Usually calm under pressure
Weaknesses
-Needs lots of preperation in order to utilize most of his necromantic abilites, some rituals/creations taking anywhere from an half-hour to taking place over the course of several days.
-Unable to cast multiple spells at a time, requires a recharge times that depends on the spell cast.
-Cannot deal with healing fatal wounds
-Cannot heal without proper equipment
-Physically average, will not be able to defend self without magic against a properly trained fighter.
Summary
-Complex and Powerful rituals/operations/summoning can create extremely powerful Undead, but most be prepared in advance or performed prior to a battle.
-Very powerful magic spells, but if a spell is deflected or endured, Kasimir will be left near defenseless for a few moments to several minutes.
-Can provide medical support under calm circumstances, but will be of little use in the heat of battle.
-Next to useless without his magic.
