Carthe felt that warm and fuzzy feeling he always got when others appreciated something he did. By the looks of it, Yua was pleased with the food so Carthe sat down on a rock and let her see if she liked it.
This is so weird! thought Carthe as he ruffled through his backpack and procured some berries and a canteen full of water.
"I have some water and these berries if you'd like, im really not sure what you.... harpies eat?"

She walked over. Somewhat looming nearby, she was comfortible with being near him now. Going ahead and taking a couple of berries. She liked them much better than meat or the bread. She purred, eyeing him. Pupils wide and feathers fluffed. Much like a happy parrot who just got fed a sweet snack.

Carthe held out his hand with the berries, which she seemed to like the most. He decided to ask her while she was eating, "So, what got you all the way... out here? I don't recall many of your type up and around here."

She finished off the berries than looked at him, "I was fallowing some food, I originally live in the forst... Though I remember living in much bigger trees than that..." she shruged a little. Her tail swayed happily, content with the current situation.

"The forest... you're a pretty long ways from any kind of forest I know." Carthe looked down at the ground... He couldn't just leave her out here, theres no way she would survive. And he figured the nearest forest was a few days away...
"Hey so, you need to go back to you're home then... maybe if you described it to me... I might know where it is huh?"

She shook her head, "No... I already know i cant go to my real home..." she glanced aside a moment than smiled, "Me and my guardian were seperated, we were also chased..." she purred abit, "I want to explore anyways really" she giggled, quite happy now.

"Guardian? Chased? what do you mean?" A concerned look formed on Carthe's face. He had lost his home when he was young so things like this disturbed him. A frown formed on his face as he remembered how terrible it was growing up as an orphan.

She thought a moment, "Um... I was a toddler at the time..." she closed her eyes, "A god and his son were fighting... my kind were wiped out... me and my Guardian left but we got caught in a storm and seperated..." she opened her eyes, looking at the ground, "A few travlers found me afterwards... thats all I can remember, my name was the most detail I got"

"Oh..." Carthe said... somewhat zoning out into his own past.
"Wait, you said your kind were wiped out but, harpies are everywhere. Are you saying your not a harpie?"
Carthe observed Yua for the first time. She was slender, about a foot shorter than he, and appeared to alternate between shades of green and blue. he was fascinated by the patterns until he realized he was staring.

She blinked, "No, Ima..." she rubbed her head thinking, "Uh... Ta'Shion!" she purred, "Im part of the Jungle Tribe" she smiled sweetly. [If you want I do have a Species sheet on these guys and a picture of her]

"Well!" Carthe said as he stood up, "If you're looking for adventure, you can come along with me, I won't mind. Besides I enjoy company."
He hoisted his backpack up on his shoulders as he pointed north. "I'm headed up that-a-way... to a city."
