Main weapon: Halberd
Secondary weapon(s): Broadsword. Bow and Arrow.
Personality: Somewhat loud and generally outspoken. Slightly Bossy. Quick to anger Intolerant of ignorance. Expert a sea and within the forests. Quite socially incompetent in large citites [unless, of course, she's trading at port or within the black market]. Bit of a loner.
Strengths: Unexpectable brute strength. Though she may not appear to be more than a young girl lost in the woods, Valka is a force to be reckoned with. She carries large weapons strapped on her person at all times and is well practiced with them. Her great strength allowes her to overpower enemies quickly and efficiently. Extremely adaptable in the wilderness and at sea despite dangers that weather and wildlife can bring. Can handle long sea voyages, despite lack of amenities.
Weaknesses: Not terribly intelligent. Only has a real knowledge of lands she has explored herself. Refuses to learn anything from a book [in actuality she can't read]. Can easily be overpowered by magic users as long as they're faster than she [would try to make and escape before dealing with a witch or sorcerer.]
Easily confused by large cities and over-friendly townspeople, horribly unable to trust anyone.
Has an unfortunate fondness for mead.
Doesn't have a lot of tact, either she likes you or she kills you.
History: Not much is known about Valka's early life, raised in a properous Viking village [prosperous as vikings go anyway]. She lived in relative comfort with her mother, father, two elder brothers, and one younger sister, Vedis. When she was 17, a group of dark magic users came to the sea side village under the pretense of opening a trading port, they soon gained the trust of the village elders. Just as quickly as they had come, they took the village and reduced it to smoldering ruins. Valka, who had been out hunting, could only watch in horror from the nearby woods. The sorcerers stole her sister and several other young girls from the village and slaughtered her family and neighbors. Valka had no choice but to flee the remains of her beloved village. She keeps to the woods mostly, occasionally joining up with allied Viking clans. Always listening for any whisper of the band of dark wizards so that she might find her sister and exact revenge on those who decimated her life.
