After causing a ruckus in the bar, Charatin Flynnski set forth to find more gold to get more drunk. The stupid thing could hardly walk, and was still freshly drunk as he sought more gold. He became so compulsive towards drinking that he couldn't enjoy it unless he knew he could continue doing it right as he is doing it.
The Homo Foresiensis waddled along, bending his knees farther ahead than a normal human as he dragged his proportionally large feet behind, then ahead of him. His head seemingly smashed in, and largely smaller than his torso. He carried tools of a miner, and a survivalist.
He tripped once, and barfed twice, on his way to find gold. But instead of heading to the market to start begging or stealing, he headed to the forest though his dulled mind couldn't comprehend why. An area of gold would not be near town, and if there was-- it would have been found already.
He soon saw floating jewelry and followed it. The lavish, shinny jewelry... It obviously wasn't there. He was probably drugged up too.

Markus lept up, from behind the fallen oak tree he had been leaning against, after hearing a rustling of the ferns. "No one usually comes out here this late." he whispered to him self. 'He could be friendly, he might have just lost his way.' 'Let's kill him!'. Waving his hand in front of his face, to silence his thoughts, as if they were a smoke he could clear from the air. "we'll have to wait and see, so be patient friends." He said as he stealthily made his way to a better, darker, vantage point from which to watch the creature.

Charatin started hopping for no apparent reason.
"Owww!! MY KNEE!!" He shouted. He stood in place, put two hands on his back and cracked it. Loudly. It sounded like a tree trunk snapping in the jaws of a giant bear. "Thats better..." He said sighing in relief.
He itched his face and noticed that he had a small lump on it. It was a red, itchy, bug bite. He started cursing in anger for a bit. "My beautiful! MY BEAUTIFUL!!" It seemed like he couldn't talk for long without shouting. He turned his head and looked around, as if someone was about to pounce him and he knew it. He caught sight of a rock as big as his head and carried it over his shoulder. "Let's go see daddy."
But then he fainted, the rock gave way to gravity, and rolled away from him as his grip loosened.

As Markus watched the, clearly mindless creature, He couldn't help but feel sorry for those who had the misfortune of meeting it. But as he watched in vexed curiosity, the creature grabbed up a rock, said something about "daddy" and collapsed. 'It's just baiting you, shoot him dead, before he does the same to you.' And for a second, Markus considered that idea, before 'It hasn't done anything to you, you know it doesn't even know you're here.' He then decided to cautiously make his way to this strange thing. But as he drew nearer, it's behavior seemed more and more understandable. It was rank with the stench of alcohol. He sighed heavily as he gave way to a more generous way of thinking. trying to rouse the 'thing' he yelled "Oi!" and snapped his fingers in it's face.

The ugly man awoken and quickly grabbed the stranger's ankles and shook them. "I'm not a dog, woman!!" He said with a shaking, uneven tone. "You can't treat me like this!!" He burped, and barfed slightly, but not a whole lot. Charatin felt his own face, and rubbed off any slime and got himself up.
He senses started to slowly come back. He looked at the stranger up and down, checking to see if he had anything on him. But as he looked up and down, he wobbled back and forth more and more. He took a step back to gain some stability. "Yer no woman..." He mumbled, and continued to lightly shove the lanky, skinny fellow once without any intended purpose.

Markus slowly repeated his, now trite, mantra quietly to him self: "I will not kill this man. I will not kill this man. I will not kill this man." But as the man shoved him, he was barely able to hold back. 'Yes come on, sear his flesh!' but he quickly regained him self and only a few arcs of lightning came from his fists, luckily going straight to the ground. 'you can do this' "might please inquire as to what you are doing here?" grinding his teeth as he said this, trying to hold back.

At the thought of his purpose he started to straighten out his thinking. "I'm trying to find gold sonny, or some way to attain it." He looked at the stranger, as if he had an answer and was holding back. He was totally disregarding the sparks of light and the danger it may hold.

"You must have had more one too may...and then about a dozen more. The only gold in these woods is either in the town, or on the travelers." Eying him warily he asked, "What do you need gold for?"

Even though Charatin was clearly drunk, he continued to believe that he wasn't drunk, or wasn't drunk enough. "Do you smell my breath stranger? There isn't a pint of alcohol on me. Not a stench nor a drop o' liquid. I want some stranger, I want some bad."
He put his hands in his pocket shamefully, looking away. But clearly his right hand started searching. His facial expression changed, and he stopped giving the stranger eye contact. He had a coin left, and knew what to do with it. Twas no copper nor silver, it twas a gold one.
He never questioned how he forgot that he had one left. All that mattered was he could buy a few more drinks. He could tell it was gold without looking at it because of the distinct feel of the engagement on all sides of it. He turned his back on the stranger with no statement or hint of what happened whatsoever.

"Ah- but...Wait where are you-" 'he found something in his pocket, what was it, we need to know.' Ignoring that curiosity, and following the simpler dumbfounding question of: "where the hell is he going?" True, what he had found might be interesting, but how strangely this person acted, he 'needed' to follow. 'Just don't let him know you're following, people always think the worst.'
