History:
Born in the thirteenth era of during the rule of the Eternal Mage in to the House of Norrelyth. Maethoriel's mother and father noticed soon that Maethoriel had an natural resistance towards the mystical powers of magic. With This Knowledge did the Elders of her House decide that she would be sent to the Cabal of Hunters, this were a great honour for Maethoriel's parents. And so it were that from the young age of 14 were she scholared in the ways of the Cabal. Her apprenticeship were long and hard, she learned about their ancient gods and their strife against the magic of men. She did also learn the ways of tracking and surviving in the hostile environment of the Sumilumi jungles. These were merely a small part of the training Maethoriel revised during her apprenticeship, but the most extensive of all she learned were in the Hunters own magic. This magic had been made to weaken other mages and to resist or even nullify spells cast on to them. As Maethoriel's apprenticeship closed its end word reached the White Spiral City of a group of humans that were close to their beloved capital, and even worse one of them have shown sighs of being a mage. With this did the Elder Hunters declare it to be Maethoriel's first real hunt, a rite of passage in to becoming a real hunter. She found the humans as they had made camp in a small clearing, she watched them hidden from the treetops biding her time. As the last light vanished from the clearing did she descend on to them without any mercy.
A time that would have been seen as long to the races of man passed, Maethoriel now a full hunter of the Cabal had earned a name to her self after several successful hunts that several times lead her far outside the boarders of Sumilumi. It were near the end of the seventeenth era that Maethoriel received word from the Eternal Mage himself, news from his most loyal sentinels had reported about a single human travelling through the jungles of Sumilumi but they suspected this human to be a Mage as when the sentinels approached he vanished from sight. With his the Eternal Mage gave the order; track him down and eliminate him. The jungles of Sumilumi is not a place for the weak with plants that can swallow a man whole and insects who's poison can kill you in minutes, this were the jungles that Maethoriel now stared to try to track a single human in. Days passed as she tracked what little tracks her prey had left, it were like the jungle it self were hiding the tracks. Finally after almost two weeks of tracking did she find her mark, she found the human in an ancient ruined temple of their god Yahal. The heresy of having a mere human in a temple of her god were enough to make her furious but even now she could feel the presents of a humans unclean magic. She moved through the ruins and entered the main chamber to find the human standing there in the middle of the chamber looking over a crystal suspended in the air by the raw magic it contained. This was the greatest trail Maethoriel have ever meet, even if the fight only lasted for a few minutes. The very temple shattered as his magic meet her wards and the magic resonance left by the battle would remain for a long time ahead, but even with all her experience could she not stop him. With a great flash of light did Maethoriel got knocked to the ground when she finally woke again did she saw that the mage was gone and so was the Crystal. Broken she returned to the Eternal Mage who were furious that the human mage had taken one of the Sacred Crystals. A quick decision were made by the Eternal Mage , Maethoriel were to bring back the Crystal and the head of the mage or never come back at all. Angered at the human mage and shamed for failing her House she gathered what belongings she could carry as well as gear for repairing her armor and weapons. She manage to track her prey form the ruined temple and followed the now clear tracks to the neighbouring human kingdom, it was here at the edge of the jungles of Sumilumi she turned around to take farewell to her homeland which she would not see for a long time.
