Taming a Beast

Fallon smiled as she placed both hands over the curve of his back, smoothing down the soft hairs that only sprung back up. She crouched down to be eye level with the beast and cotinued to rub the wolf as she spoke, " You are a magnicicant beast, one of a kind." she stood up expecting the wolf to bound off into the forest, but hoping to imprint a lasting relationship with the wolf.

The wolf kept eye contact with the girl one last time. He would remember her. It was a strange occurrence for him that a human had treated him the way she did. The girl who carried the scent of the forest. He had never been touched by a human creature, and it felt a bit nice, though it there was a slight feeling of uneasiness and hesitation to it, both from him and her.

When she finally stood up, the wolf wrinkled his nose slightly, but hesitantly. He felt that somehow growling at her would be inappropriate right now even though it was something he should be doing. He again started to think before reacting, which was unlike any other true wolf. With their engagement over, he walked away slowly, almost wanting to know more about the being. He quickened his pace the farther he went from her. Eventually he took off running into the forest, disappearing from her sight.

Fallon smiled as the wolf began to retreat from her, she hoped to see him again in the near future. As the beast darted from her sight she grinned and walked slowly back ro her home, a cave filled with pelts and bones. She thought about the beast that night as she slept, and the emotions that may come over them.

She had accomplished what she wished, to make a imprint of her on the wolf, so when they meet again, more trust and feelings could be seen. Fallon smirked as she quickly fell asleep, almost anxious to see him again.
