Robin just looked at Leonardo. She was speechless and a smile wasn't playing on her lips. She just stared at him with a curious expression as though trying to figure him out. She had come to the conclusion that he was very unpredictable. She finally turned away from him to look at Cadmus. Her black eyes turned gold but her hair remained black.She sighed and just stood there. She turned away once more and didn't glance at either for a moment. Then she glanced back at Leonardo, "Forgive me, but I'm really sonfused."

If unpredictable meant staying alive, than he just might reach the elder years of priesthood yet. But the look on her face worried him a bit, not knowing why it was there at all. Especially the lack of her smile made him feel a tinge of guilt for some in explicabale reason.
"I'm afraid I don't quite understand. . ."
He had made no implications he wanted her to leave him completely alone or anything. And he had told her more or less exactly where he was heading. So why was she confused at all? Had he missed something he should have not? Or did she wish for him to somehow live with her in the forrest forever?
". . .Confused about what?"

Robin stayed out of Leonardo's thoughts for a moment. She didn't care what he was thinking but sometimes she heard thoughts without knowing it. Her gold eyes looked at his blue ones, "I'm afraid I don't live in the forest. As far as what is confusing me, you should look at me and be able to tell." She made no other motion than too look at Cadmus, "You thought something was funnier earlier. I don't really know what is so humorous to you."

Leonardo allowed his mind to playback through the last few minutes, trying to quickly attain the source of her confusion. Then his detective-like mind finally felt as thought it had a solid reason for her reaction. Not catching on immediately was allowable. For not only was he a human being, but a blond as well.
"Do not worry about that."
Saint said softly as his blue eyes were the only thing to betray his stoic expression.

Robin turned from Cadmus to Leonardo once again, "Excuse me?" In all honesty, she had no idea what he was talking about or what she was to not worry about. She was confused and speechless. She looked at Leonardo but still awaiting the answer from Cadmus.
{I lenghtened it as long as I could.}

He sighed.
"Forget I said anything."
Leonardo decided the village could wait for him a while longer, since they had given him no real deadline. In the letter sent to them by his superiors, they had mentioned to the villagers he would be on foot. That gave him plenty of lee-way for anything he desired along the path there. She seemed to want him to stay near or something like that. Women were a mystery to many, could she really expect him to know exactly what she had meant?
If I have no idea what she's confused about & she has no idea what I'm talking about. . . then there's no real point in making it worse. If it's important enough, she'll just tell me. Playing games like this is a trivial pursuit.

Robin sighed in frustration. She looked at him for a moment and blinked. Her eyes were shining like they were wet. She quickly away from him. If he wanted to go, he could go. It's not that she cared...ok maybe she did. She couldn't stop him though. She looked at Cadmus as a distraction.
{I keep bringing him in so he won't be left out. He gets on later at night from what I know of}

He saw her eyes before she turned away from him, which made him feel as though he had done wrong yet again. Was the world always hit or miss? Poeople had warned him the world was a harsh place to live in, but this seemed almost silly in a way. Not that he thought such a thing, having his mind on other things. Like how to make up for what he had just done.
". . .I. . ."
Leonardo fell silent, not knowing if any words could be the right ones. Especially in front of a stranger like Cadmus. If the Elf chose to try & use Saint as a weakness. . . he would find it not such an easy task. By human nature he was an unpredictable creature armed with logic & intelligence.
[That's fine. If you want we can leave it here till he gets on.]

"I swear to you priest...I won't harm you unless I have to. I wouldn't want your god to smite me." He said with a bit of laughter.
He looked down to the girl and smiled. He could hear a twig breaking in the distance and he turned to the noise. Could they have already found me? His green eyes watched as a small deer jumped from the bushes. But at the site of the group ran the other direction.
"Well lets get headed to this village." He said. "If you don't mind traveling with me. But I'm sure you have nothing to worry about with her around." He said
He also needed to get to the village a nights rest in a Inn would be great.

Robin smiled at Cadmus. She hated walking on foot when she could fly but where would be the fun in that. She groaned inwardly not glancing at Leon, "The village it is." "No funny business, Cadmus." She did a crooked grin and made her way to Leon without so much as a glance, "Ready to head off?"

"God is not always direct."
He replied to Cadmus with the right side of his mouth in a slight smirk.
"Ready."
He replied to Robin without looking back at her more than a second. Leonardo just could not understand what had gotten into her now. Did he say he was going to leave her? No. But none of it seemed to matter, as she looked to be bitter toward him anyway. Despite the fact he was starting to like her. . . she seemed to only push him away now. All for one mistake, or so he could tell.
What have I done? I just don't understand. . .

Cadmus pulled out a small dagger and marked a tree nearby. He was going to have to come back to this place the game seemed to like it. He slide it back into a small pouch and followed the group.
He stood on the other side away from the priest he didn't want to provoke him.
"So whats all in this Village." He asked. He was wandering if this place would be of interest to him.

Robin stood inbetween Cadmus and Leon. She stared straight ahead. "I'm not familiar with the lands. Leon should be able to tell you. He was headed there before he stumbled upon me." Robin eyes stayed glued to the front of her.

"A church that needs to be built for one, the rest is supposed to be the regular type of small village. At least from the letters they've sent me."
They could take all the guesses they wanted at his purpose in the village. It did not matter to Leonardo, since when asked he would not lie. Lying did count as a sin after all. His pace was a swift one, showing he must have often walked places. And indeed he did, finding it kept him in shape, only riding a horse when time was against him.
"Supposedly a tavern as well. Which worries me, that people would build a tavern before a house of God. But I suppose not everyone is a dedicated person to the Lord. . ."

Robin said nothing at first to the last comment. She gave a deep breath to calm herself and took a step away from Leon. She gave a sideways glare to him. Only repling, "I guess not."
