Robin flew from the sky like a bird, slow and graceful. She landed on a tree limb and cautiously looked around. She sighed, 'I can't seem to find my new target,' She jumped from the tree and her eyes became a jet black. They allowed her to see things which other people couldn't with the naked eye. Her eyes returned to a soft black as she sighed. Her target has seemed to of disappeard yet again. 'I thought this was suppose to be Gabriel's job. He's angel of death,' she thought. Robin hated her master with a passion, but she had no choice to serve him until she could find away out. She has been under his control for 400 years; a way out seemed to be impossible. She still never gave up hope. She sold her soul to be able to walk on earth so she could be with her true love. It didn't work out as hoped since her master betrayed her and had her love killed. She wore an evil smirk on her face which never seemed to fade. There was a hint of a fang as she snapped her fingers and her wings seemed to melt away. She was tired of looking for her target. She leaned against a nearby tree and breathed deeply. She hated how things had turned out.

Silently, a man in the robes of a priest he wore walked through the forrest. He had yet to ever be assigned a place to practice what he had been taught. No flock of his own yet, but that suited the human just fine. There was a stoic expression on his face, devoid of emotion as he walked on, nearing where Robin was at. Not really an intention of his to go near anyone in a bad mood, but his senses were mostly just as good as any other human being.
With a few exceptions.
Vespertilio was hidden within those priestly robes, only with the appearance of a large silver cross to it. The sky blue eyes which were his seemed to look ahead only, until he became close enough to Robin for him to sense her presence. He had been taught by those older than him how to take control of his mind & not leave it clouded, muddled like other men & women's minds were.
Leon seemed to notice the evil smirk, but also seemed to ignore her as to avoid starting any fights. There was only one fight he ever really sought out, & she was not it.

{occ: i didn't know if you were in the shadows or not so i made it that way. }Robin glanced up at the strange feeling of a presence nearby, a man - a priest. 'Just what I need,' she thought to herself. She felt the wind to decide whether or not he was any harm. He wasn't her target and he didn't seem to be of any harm to her. As long as he didn't get in her way, she didn't care. She didn't harm people for pure pleasure; she did because she had no choice. She said in a low maniacal whisper, "Come forth, no need to stay in the shadows." If she sounded evil, it was because of a natural talent. It came from working for Satan himself for 400 years.

[That's fine, even if most priest don't linger in the shadows xD]
As a servant of God he felt unafraid of any servant of evil, since fighting for the Lord always had it's reward. Their voice evoked no expression on his face, & he remained silent. Just the same, he did approach them at their invitation. If the Vampiric Angel had not seen his face completely, they would now as the young looking man walked to where there was better light.
Something of a strength showed in his sky-blue eyes, likely from his strong spirit. And his strong dedication which followed it. They had not made a move to harm them, so his stance remained a passive yet mysterious one. Even if something about them faintly whispered about being in league with the Devil himself. . . they did not have to be attacked. He was no Hunter, no Crusader, or some valiant Hero of legend. All Leonardo would seem to be to those who saw him. . . was a vaguely handsome young man who had chosen to be a priest.

Robin looked at the man before her. He was attractive. Although, he wore a priest robe. Robin was hard to intimidate and priests did not bother her. Evil itself would back away from the silver cross against his robes. Robin was hardly pure evil. She worked for pure evil and she hated it. Robin grinned, a natural talent. "Welcome, priest." She stood up. Her wings were hiddn underneath the magic she posessed. However, a talented person could tell she was an angel. For some reason, they had a hard time believing that she was the female death angel. Gabriel took the souls of those who belonged in Heaven; Robin did the opposite.

Yet one might think it made sense, since Death always supposedly came in the form of a woman. To him, however. . . she only seemed a bit of a mystery. And one which probably did not need to be solved by a human like him. Her grin seemed to be trying to unnerve him in some manner. What ended up getting to him though, was how she seemed somewhat like an angel for some reason. . . yet tainted. This priest had been trained in the ways to notice inhuman creatures on both sides of the spectrum.
It made it easier to find potential friends as well as enemies.
"And I did not even give you thanks. . ."
Leonardo's expression now held the faintest of smirks, only at his lips. The Silver Cross which would drive away evil, was inside of the robes. He kept it from sight not to hide what he was. . . but for a different reason. Enemies were much more careless toward what appeared to be an un-armed man than one brandishing a foot long Cross.

Robin stared at him for a moment as if trying to figure him out. She knew he was a priest and she knew about the cross. It didn't scare her, nor could it harm her. She could see things other people couldn't with the naked eye. She could also sense of what power a person posessed and what exactly they were. Robin didn't want to make enemies here. Somehow, people always thought she did. Her evil grin usually provoked them. She loved mocking them and making people flinch. Her grin, however, didn't unnerve the priest. Her grin faltered and she said in voice as sooth as the wind that blew through the trees, "Thank me for what?"

"Well I'm still not quite sure myself. . ."
He said, letting the sentence trail off a moment or two picking it back up again. Leon's cross could only hurt her to a certain point as it could all things. Vulnerable to silver or not, the alloy was still a somewhat heavy one. And when swung with a strong arm like he possessed. . . it was moderately effective. Nothing like a sword. . . but it could make one hurt for a while.
". . .But you did say `Welcome`."
Robin's voice sounded nice in his ears, since it was niether scratchy nor demonic. Could he be daring enough to toy with a stronger being through such a corny statement? Or was it merely the way he always was? The stance he held was still passive & mysterious as the faint smirk stayed only on his lips.

Robin smiled at this. Her grin was not evil, just friendly. She moved closer until she was only inches away. "Forgive me, priest, but the cross hidden in your robes won't harm me." She flashed her evil grin and said in a low whisper, "I'm not all evil. I just work for it." Her black hair flew in the wind and her black eyes flashed a strange gold. "You are handsome. Pray tell, what is your name?"

The fact she admitted working for evil only confirmed his suspicions. But if she had originally been Holy. . . what had turned her from the light? When one already lived in Heaven from birth, he could think of nothing being finer for a good soul. After all, was that place up above not what most strived for most of their lives?
"Oh?"
So his cross wouldn't work on her, maybe it was just to try & convince him of such. After all the weasiest way to avoid a weapon was to convince it's user that it was useless. But then she had closed the distance between them rather suddenly, it seemed. When she complimented him on his looks, he knew it only portained to his face. The robes covered what of his body had been burned a long time ago as a young boy. Sure, a mystic healer may have helped restore the skin & muscle. . . but Leonardo had asked them to leave the scars.
He wanted to always remember.
"My name is Leonardo. . .and yours?"

Robin smiled, "Well....Leonardo," letting the name slip through her lips like velvet, "My name is Adanessa but everyone calls me Robin." She smiled up at him, "She lightly touched his robe. You have been through much, priest. I can feel some of the pain you endured." She paused and took her hand away, "I need to know," she said in low whisper, "What doubts do you have about me? I can feel things that are either confusing you or things you're wondering about."

She had finally unnerved him a tad now, but only a little. He had forgotten the angel part of her still was probably just as perceptive & intuitive as it always had been. Within a couple seconds, control over his feelings had been regained. He felt that not being an emotional `rock` right now would work against him. And then there was the simple fact she had just touched his robes.
Maybe he should be stern with her?
"Why do you work for evil?"
Then again. . . satisfying slight curiousity would at least draw attention away from his own past.

Robin was slightly taken aback. If there was a question she did not want to answer, it was this one. She smiled however and prepared to answer the question while keeping her emotions at bay. Her eyes shined with what could of been tears if she hadn't of blinked them away. She decided to give him a long story, short. "I was killed by my sister. I became an angel in Heaven, a guardian angel. I fell in love with the one who I was watching over. I made a deal with Satan so I could walk on earth. He then decieved me by having him murdered." She paused slighly flashing fangs, "He made me this, his personal death angel. He is my enemy, but I can't be freed from his clutches. I have no choice."

He felt sorry for her now, almost every notion he might have had about her torn away. It had apparently all been for love, which made it rather tragic. She knew of pain like he did, for a loved one. . . but a different kind. Yet his mind started to peel through the layers, almost like a detective of sorts even though there were none in existance yet.
"But. . . I thought angels could become human by cutting off their wings?"
Surely a pair of wings was easier to live without than one's freedom? Or at the core of it all, one's own soul. Especially losing it to one like the Devil. Maybe Robin had not known about that method somehow. Could she escape her fate in some way or another? It was probably fool-hardy of him to think anyone could out-wit the Devil.

Robin sighed. She couldn't believe she was talking to a priest. In all honesty, she didn't think bad of him. She didn't harm unless he had too. She whispered in a seductive tone, wasn't meant to be that way, it's a natural talent, "My dear, Leonardo, I can't cut off my wings. I sold what freedom I had and being human can't change that. I've been like this for 400 years. There isn't a way out." She snapped her fingers and wings appeared out of nowhere. They expanded wide and were white with a shadow cost across them, but there was no shadow near them. She snapped her fingers again and the wings disappeared. "I can't escape fate."
