Personality: Shy at first, Nick doesn't talk much. When
he gets to know someone he talks a lot more. He is very smart, though he would rather pretend otherwise. To him, all he needs to know and learn is how to protect the weak and those he cares about.
History: Raised by peaceful nomads, he found himself admiring swordsmen anytime the caravan came in contact with one. He wanted to protect his people the way the swordsmen sometimes did. However, it was against their beliefs to learn the way of the sword and to do more violence than playful wrestling. After saving up all the money he could get his hands on, Nick managed to purchase a short sword at the age of 15. When his parents found out he was passed off to the first swordsman that would take him. At the age of 16 he started learning the way of the sword, becoming rather skilled by the age of 19. At 20, he felt himself too independent for the swordsman that trained him and began to wander on his own. Now, at the age of 23, he has become a for-hire swordsman, protecting caravans and pilgrimages across the land.
