Name: Shanilin, 'Lyn'
Age: Unknown
Gender: Female?
Race: Kalmia-Halyasa (Demons, though they only respond to the proper name given to them by the Mother)
Height: 6' 9"
Weight: 201 lbs.
Hair Colour: Gold
Hair Length: Shoulder length
Physical Description: Lyn is tall, lithe and strong. Like all demons, she is alluring to humans and many other races, ana like many, she has a set of small horns that jut from her forehead. These horns are about an inch long, round nubbed and golden. Her whole body is covered in scales that range from a core violet to a ruby red at her extremities. Many are not able to peirce the Veil and only see her as a tall lean human with golden hair and blue eyes, as aposed to their native white.
Brief History/ Character's Story: Many times in history, there have been stories about demons. These are often explained away, but the one startling concruency never could be. How could every sintient species in the cosmos, before they developed even advanced communications, have the same stories about demons? Because they are real. Demons are not evil, they are merely the opposites of angels, they feed and gain energy from the negative aspects of life. Lust, anger, envy, spite, and so on, while angels feed on the positive, charity, subservience, kindness and the like. Shanlin Desiro Makilnarov Himana-Calumnira was once a Demon Prince, in the line of sucession to the throne. But like all races, the demons have their traitors, and Shanilin was forcibly removed. You can't kill a demon, they simple come back in a different area. So they banished her. They forced her out of the Realm and into the first availible body. Now she was bound to the plane that she lives in now, unable to return and claim her bloodrite as the Prince of Light. She retains many demonic traits. The body she is bound to was changed into that of a demon, and the Veil still shroudes her. Her strength and agility remain only slightly hampered by the mortal flesh and her wit is undeminished. She still has some command over magic, but only the spells of her Sphere, Light, and not of any others, and even the ones she retained are weakened severly. Death of the Body is the death to the soul, and unless she can free the binding spell from herslef, then she will never reclaim her throne, and never get revenge for the wrongs that have been served her.
