The girl stood and turned halfway.
"Kayne, and yours?"
Kayne turned back and put her hair up in a braid faster than any mortal. She smiled a devil smile, alsmot deadly. She ment well, but bad fortune always followed the reckless.

"I'm Jada and this is Guang," She said with a soft smile. Jada had made two friends in one day, more then she ever hade in a life time. Her day was looking pretty bright.

Everything happened so fast Orik couldn't keep up with it. In a flash, the bartender and a gnome seemed to get into light conversation, then drunks blocked the tavern's exit. The gnome didn't take the men lightly, for he quickly drew a small dagger, ready to take on the men. And then by means Orik couldn't begin to explain, the elven bartender transformed into a panther and took the gnome from the scene.
Orik, suspicious of the events now unfolding, decided he better investigate into the matter. The dwarf downed the rest of his ale and sped out the door as fast as his short legs would carry him.
Being a dwarf, Orik was an excellent outdoorsman. He quickly spotted panther tracks down a dirt path directly outside of the tavern. Orik followed the trail, which leaded into a nearby forest.
As Orik approached, he heard leaves rustling and, by his judgment, a woman speaking in an unknown tongue. The same voice quickly changed to Orik's native language, and now he was all the more suspicious. Trying not to be seen, Orik drew his ax and waited silently behind the trees.
{OOC: Wow, this grew really fast!}

Kayne stretched her feet and laughed gently. She laughed at the names only because she had never had the joy of knowing others names besides Edward. It was a strange feeling, this sensation of laughter, but not new. Edward stood, looking away from the man and into the thicket, something was there. Something different.

"WHO'S THERE?" Jada called into the darkness, hearing the ax being drawn. She changed form into a panther and jumped up into the trees, She looked down from her hiding spot and saw a dwarf with an ax.
Jada hissed, and growled loudly to catch his attention. It was the dwarf she served at the bar, he had followed them.
Jada hoped down and once again changed into an elf and walked through the bushes. "Why did you follow me?"

Guang had barely registered the strange elven girl before he saw the dwarf. Understandably, he focused on the girl first. There were too many coincidences as to her arrival here. First, how did she come to be here? Why did all those other animals except for one vanish? How did another elven shapeshifter just show up...and what did she want with his companion?
Guang had run across several odd things in his day, especially seeing as how far he had traveled and what he did for a living, but this surpassed them all. As Jada asked him to go with her on her travels, he had thought about rejecting, but had not had the time before the dwarf showed up.
Luckily, Guang recognized the dwarf...he had been at the bar when he had come in. He had also been seen several times in the bazaar trying to sell his goods. But the reason Guang was not worried is that he had heard of the this dwarf, he could tell by the ax. This dwarf had fought in the great Orc battle of Tamasha a few months before when Guang had been out of town. He knew he could trust this man before he could trust this girl.
Unfortunately, he had questions too...like Jada. How had he followed them there was a good question, but the other question was even MORE pertinent: WHY had he followed them there...and was it a good sign or a bad one?
Cautiously, Guang moved closer to the dwarf and Jada keeping his knife low and his eyes locked on Kayne. He wanted to be ready if things went sour...and the way his luck was holding out tonight, he wouldn't be against it.

Edward snarled at Guang and stood infront of Kayne. He bared his fangs and with his mind he told the man to put the knife away, that the girl and the lycan ment no harm.
Kayne stepped forward twards the dwarf, hand on one of her double-edged katana.
"Teanile kaneiuul zefuyiuer Opkea?"

Jada still stood there glaring at the dwarf, "I will only ask one more time, WHY WERE YOU FOLLOWING ME?!" She angrilly shouted.
At this moment in time Jada really had no concerns with her actions, afterward however she wished she hadn't yelled and wasn't so rude. Jada's newfound confidence isn't turnning out to be such a good thing.

Guang heard the snarl from the lycan and heard the voice rumbling in his mind that the girl and the lycan meant no harm. Guang wasn't sure if it would work to think BACK at the animal or not, but he would give it a try.
"What are you doing here? How did you come to be here?" Guang thought at the lycan. It seemed to being him more attention as the girl was now focused on the dwarf too...and asking more gibberish questions.
Guang waited patiently, still alert for any deception by either of them, although he did keep an ear turned in the direction of the dwarf as he too was curious about his sudden appearance there. For an isolated spot of the forest, this could easily be the center of the bazaar at high noon on a summer day.

The night air became chilly as a breeze rolled in. Jada dropped her voice and leaned against a tree waiting for the dwarfs reply.
"I probably shouldn't have yelled" she thought feeling like a fool now. Jada could feel the sleepiness drift through her from all the excitement. She was losing her balance and toppled right over. Jada had fainted for the first time in her life.
She awoke to the group she had left only a few minutes later," umm hello, sorry about my sudden nap." She said sitting up.

Kayne once again realized that she was speaking the wrong tounge for this. Changing back to the others tounge, she said, " Who are oyu, lay down your weapon, you aere out-numbered. Be you friend or foe?" Kayne finally drew out both of her double-edged katanas. The crimson blades matching her eyes.
Edward walked over to the man, named Guang, and sat by him. The black wolf spoke the returned thought tendrel.
'We have been traveling. Looking for someone special to my friend, Kayne. The NightMaer you saw has been with us for three nights and two days. Anything else?'

D'Artagnan was very confused. Before he knew it the bartender had turned into a panther and left the tavern without serving him and tjhe dwarf suddenly left. So he then helped himself to a glass of ale, left his coins on the counter and left. He would make to his hut on the hill tops, and wait for a friend he was to meet soon.

Guang shuddered involuntarily as the black wolf came over to sit by him. He should not be so tense, but this was not exactly a normal conversation, nor a normal meeting of friends at night. He relaxed and put the knife away as he phrased his next mental question.
"She seems quite capable on her own. Why does she need a special friend?" Guang thought, hoping that this wolf and the elf girl weren't trying to hurt them. While he waited for the answer, he kept his eyes on Jada, the dwarf, and the elf girl...just in case. Caution was not something you just threw into the wind.
"Why is the NightMare with you? What were the other animals and where did they go? What is your quest?" Guang didn't like standing here exposed to so many people, so he kept thinking new thoughts as they came to the wolf. Maybe he would learn something helpful.

Mildly surprised at everyone's defensiveness, Orik did not lower his ax. In such times as these, no one could be trusted--at least not right away.
Orik first turned to the elven bartender. "Why did I follow ye? Ye didn't expect me ter leave ye all by yerself, what with all that's happened to ye in the past few minutes." Orik then directed his attention to the other elf. "An' why should I lower me weapon?" The dwarf snorted. "Outnumbered I may be, but I've come out o' worse, believe me."
Although Orik desired no fight, he knew he could easily take down two elves. Orik had nothing against the gnome, for he had not accused Orik of anything.
"Me question for ye is what are two--" he paused, "elves--doin' in this village, anyway?" Orik did not mean to be so blunt, but everyone knew of the aging conflict between the dwarves and elves. The only known alliance between the two races was during the last Dragon War, some five-thousand years ago. Orik wasn't about to give in to two elves with mysterious powers.
