It was late in the morning and Tamasha was the busy economic center as always. Except for the merchants yelling, trying to sell their goods, and the people having their conversations it was peacefull. Till suddenly a dwarf, wairing goggles, ran out of a sotre and yelled. "All drop to the ground if ye want to keep yer head on ya torso!"
Then he hid behind a corner. Most people looked suprised and some said something like 'drunk dwarf'. Then a large explosion came from the shop that the dwarf just exited. Windows were blasted to pieces and rained down on the street. Pieces of debris started fly around. People were now running around, completly panicing.
grom came from behind his corner and took of his goggles. "Stupid humans. Never they trust an ol' dwarf's word. Always have to see things before believing. Idiotic buggers." The dwarf walked at the ruin of his shop and sighed. "Ther goes years of work." He pushed some debris away and grabbed a body that was lying under it.
"Didn't i tell ya, you flee-brained twit? Keep the nitroglycerine AWAY from heat. Don't place it next to THE FORGE!" Grom was yelling at the man, telling how stupid he was, for a couple of minutes till he notices the man was missing the half of his body. "No wonder i could lift him so easily." He said with raised eyebrows. "Agh, is his own fault. Clumsy nitwit."
The white bearded dwarf dropped the body and put his goggles on again but placed the lenses on his forehead. Suddenly his mouth fell open. "Oh no!" He yelled while panicking. "I forgot all about her!" Grom ran trough the debris of his old shop and stopped where a large wooden girder was blocking his path. He was trying to lift it but it was to heavy. "Someone help me! My darling is beneath it."

Lyndi had been traveling and stopped by the town for a nice break off the road. she walked right down into the market looking at all the marvolous things when out of no where a dwarf yelled something about get down if you want to keep your head. The way he said it made her realise he wasn't kidding, although most people just ignore him, Lyndi moved quickly to a side ally where she could crouch down and have protection.
She sniffed the air and she thanked god for her animal senses, she could smell the explosion comming. She ducked her head and she herd the boom, debris flew everywhere but she was safe in her allyway. She emerged and saw the street was a mess. She stepped lightly through everything helping people up off the ground and pushing through people to where the explosion came from.
She searched for a sign as to where the dwarf went, she wanted to zsk him what was going on. She didn't have to wait long to find him, he was shouting for help. He needed extra muscles to move a large wooden grinder. It would be heavy but with Lyndi's help she was sure the two of them could move it. She ran up to him and didn't say anything at first she was more consintrated on helping the Dwarf first and questioning later. A few other towns men came over and pushed as well and the grinding stone was free.
Lyndi stood there waiting for a moment to try to understand what was going on.

Slowly the girder was pushed aside. Grom thanked the people that helped him. "Thanks lads. Couldn't lift this all by myself." He moved some debris away and revelaed a hidden stone hatch. All his dwarven strenght was needed to lift it. Slowly it opened and revealed acces to a small stashing place. Grom went down the stone stairs and some minutes later came back up with a large bagon his back and a chest made of some sort of strange black steel.
The black alloy was ornamented with dwarven runes and a magical runelock protected it from any unwanted guests. Grom streaked over the runelock and murmered some dwarvish words to himself. with a clicking sound the chest unlocked itself. With a sigh of relief he opened it completly. "Ah, Thank the seven forges. My beauties are unharmed."
From the chest he took two ornamented dwarven lock pistols. One was just a regular pistol, detailed dwarven runes made it look more like a piece of art than destruction. The other pistol was a bit larger and had three barrels wich came out of a dragon's head. Both guns were pieces of art but also very deadly. From the chest he also took two belts with dwarven handgrenades. When he took all his stuff Grom went to an inn.

Lyndi's hooded cloak kept her idenity as a female hidden. She watched him curiously as he retrived his valuables. She was a bit confused that he had only worried about something so small as guns which could easily have been replaced. Lyndi watched him walk away towards the inn. She was curious about this fellow, so she followed him.
Once inside the Inn Lyndi spotted him and walked over to the table at which he sat. It was in the corner of the inn, and it was pretty empty. Lyndi had to admit she liked inns that felt homey, but this one had more of a bar feel. She had a big thing against dunken men. She turned her attention back to the dwarf. She sat down not even asking to join the table with him, the thought didn't occur til after she sat down.
She pulled her hood down and smiled at the dwarf,"Mind if I sit with you? I saw everything that happened today and I tried to help as much as I could. Although I have to admit that stone wasn't going to move with just two people trying to push it."
She wanted to hit herself in the head. she was already starting conversation and she didn't even have his permission to sit with him. Forceing yourself into somebody's face is no way to make friends.

When Grom entered the inn alot of people greeted him. It was actually a tavern but it sold rooms to. And in his free time Grom comes here alot so he was aquinted with most of the other customers.
"Hey, Grom!" A man, that was in his late thirty's-early fourthy's, approached the dwarf engineer. "I heard your shop got blown up. That's quite hard for you." Grom nodded. "Aye, it is. An' me clumsy assistent disappeared in thin air... literal. Well, a part of him." Some of the customers grinned at Grom's morbid humor.
"It's a real shame, Grom. I remember when you started that shop when i was a little boy." An old aged man said from behind the bar, it was the inn keeper. The dwarf shook his shoulders. "Aye, a real disaster if ya ask me. But luckily i have all my money i earned in those years so i can start anew." All the men nodded.
When Grom sat down in the corner Rose, the waitress, brought him a tankard filled with ale. "Here Grom. Its from the house. I thought you might need it." She said with a smile. Grom chuckled. "Thanks."
He sat there for a while till suddenly an unknown person sat in front of him. When the person dropped its hood, Grom saw it was a woman. When the female started talking, Grom smiled. "Ofcourse i don't mind if ya join me, yer already sittin' down." When she told him that she was one of the people that helped him, Grom put his tankard on the table. "Yer wer' one of the people that helped me? Well, i thank you, lass. I could lift the stone by myself if i wasn't shaken by the explosion."

"I just wanted to make sure you were ok. I herd some of the fella's say it was your shop. I'm so sorry it was destroyed," Lyndi said.
"I was just kindof traveling through the city when I herd you shout about the explosion. I really have nowhere to be so if you need help, I thought I would offer."She smiled.
Her face quickly turned into a light frown," I really am forgetting my manners, My name is Lyndi." Her frown changed swiftly back to a smile.
Lyndi tucked her golden hair back behind one ear to reveal she wasn't only a woman, she was also an elf. She looked around the packed tavern. A couple of drunks were starring at her. They smiled as she looked over them and she rolled her eyes and quickly turned her attenion back to Grom.
(sorry it's not much)

Grom grinned and took a sip from his ale. "Offering yer assistance?" He was streaking trough his white beard while thinking.
When the girl introduced her as Lyndi, Grom smiled. "Nice to meet ya, Lyndi. People call me Grom, Grom Goldcranck." Again grom took a sip from his ale.
When Lyndi tucked her hair behind her ear and revealed her elven heritage, Grom frowned a bit. When some drunks where staring at Lyndi, Grom gave them an angered dwarf look. The drunks quickly turned away. "Well, Lyndi. Ye seem a very capable young girl but i don't think the job i do is something fer you." He raised his hand to make sure she would let him finish before she started to make protests. "It's not because you have pointy ears. People say my goods are better than those humans a bit futher in town. Y'know why?"
Grom leaned back into his chair and drank fro mhis ale before continuing. "Because i don't see my job as a mere proffesion or my goods as tools of destruction. Ya see, lass. To me it is an art. Every pistol i create is never the same. Everytime i put something in it that makes it... special. Something like that takes decades of practice, savvie?. The little accident off today proves that. Altough i think pure stupidity should be blamed this time." Grom shook his shoulders. "But i just think of something..." He looked around to make sure no one was listening to their conversation.
Then he leaned in closer to Lyndi. "When me shop exploded my whole storage went with it. So even if i can rebuild me shop i can't work because i have no ore. So i need to get some. If you feel up to it ya can come with me. Unless ofcourse ye don't want to get yer hands dirty." Grom said with a smile.

"I'd be glad top go with you!" She said happily," I really don't have anything better to do."
She didn't want to tell him her life story but she didn't have anyone anymore and being with anyone for her was better then being alone. Lyndi smiled, she had a purpose again. Even if it was small and it wouldn't last too terribly long, she could at least help someone and make a friend. It suited her perfectly.
"And I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty," She smiled at her secret. Since she could shape shift into animals she was always dirty. She had to giggle a little, she wasn't your average elven woman. Lyndi was a wild kind of girl. She has a sweet, careing attitude but when she is an animal she does tend to be very careless.
"I am sure I'm up for the challenge, where do we get this ore?"

Grom streaked trough his white beard while sighing deeply. "Well, gettin' the ore should be a jiffy." He chuckled lightly. "Gettin' away wit' is something else." Again the dwarf leaned a bit towards Lyndi and spoke on a whispery tone. "Y'see. the place where i get my ore is in Blaze Mountain, in the deepest core. But, alas, a black page of the dwarven history is locked away ther to. And those guys aren't very fond on guys taking away ther ore." Grom shook his shoulders. "Can't blame them though. The only place where i can find ore that is good enough fer me." The engineer took a long sip from his tankard. "But just getting the ore ain't enough. Ya see the ore i use can't be smelted by ordinary fire. I need somethin' ...special..." When he finished, Grom looked around to see if anyone heard something of their conversation. "If yer still up fer the challenge, lass you'd better start packing."

"I'm ready. Everything I own is on my person. I don't stay put for very long. Just tell me what to do and I'll do it." She smiled at him. She was ready for a new adventure. Her life was going no where fast. She needed a boost.
"I'll be around back of the Inn, come and find me when you want to leave." Lyndi said getting up. She didn't like the tavern part of the inn. Lots of drunk men scare Lyndi. She walked out and turned the corner into the thin alley way. She walked down it and turned the corner to her right again and found the back of the inn quiet. She was alone and it was nice, bit Lyndi craved company. Lyndi sat on the ground against the side of the building. She closed her eyes and waited for the dwarf to come out.
(sorry not very detailed/ it's not very good)
