"Omio, I'm not quite sure what you mean, but, I really think we should stop Raven before he sets off your trap. We have the chance to stop him and I think that's what we should do. As for saveing slaves, i'd love to, I just don't think he needs to kill people to acheive his goal. Omio please help me stop them." Lyndi looked at him pleadingly.
She pulled him into a hug, and whispered into his ear,"Please?" She pulled back and looked at him, and waited for his reply.

"...Then get ready, We're moving out. Now." He then proceeded towards those two trees and stopped, waiting for Lyndi to either hop up so he could carry her, or to morph into a large bird so that she could hop on his shoulder and they could get across the minefield. You're going to get detected, so remember to be truthful about it.

Raven looked back through the two strange trees, trying to see if he could spot Francis' blue robes through the green curtain of leaves, but could not. He hoped his friend would not pursue him. Something did not feel quite right. What threachery did those lumps in the ground hold? He was half-tempted to toss a rock onto one of the lumps to see what would happen, but something far more interesting showed up to divert his attention. Although, Raven almost wished it had not.
"Oh, no...It had to be you again?" he asked Omio's approaching form. "Someone must be getting inattentive. This blue sticks out from the forest as much as a priest in a brothel. That may not be the best analogy, but you see my point. Where are we headed in such a hurry?"

Lyndi morphed into a falcoln and flew up onto Omio's Shoulder. She held on so she didn't loose her balance but not hard enough to cut Omio with her talons. Then she remebered Raven had not yet discovered her powers so she quickly took flight and headed back into a thick spot in the forest where she morphed again. She ran back to the sight with the two trees and came up behind Omio and stood next to him.
"To stop you, Get back away from those trees. It's a trap that you could set off and kill as all I might add." Lyndi spoke up for Omio. Whay had Raven talked to him in such away. They must have had a run in before, had some qeezy history together. It didn't invold Lyndi so she didn't need to know other then if they didn't get along, Raven needed to get away from the trees and on his own way.
This still left the question in Lynd's mind of Why Raven and Francis were even here in the first place? She would find out later. Safety was the first issue at hand.

"A trap, yes. But if you can run, then it's really nothing. Nonetheless..." He was where he could show them. He grabbed a random paint and dipped his finger in. He then poked where he could remember a thin, thin string. In the middle of the air was a thin line of paint. "There's a string here. If you broke the line, then you'd be setting the forest on fire." He didn't take more to patience. "As is, I'm on my way out of this area." He picked up the incoming Lyndi and started to walk the same safety path he memorized, but in reverse now. He only had trouble going underneath the wire. Other than that, he treaded with ease. After travelling the path, he set her back down, trying to hide the blushing, although it was still barely showing. "If I were you, Raven, I would recommend getting over to this side and down. You wouldn't want to set off about 30 Claymore mines, now would you?" I'd be the first to end up roasted, if you did - and I'm the only one that knows the safe route out of the fire. Although Lyndi could 'cheat' about that.
EDIT: Typoes are nasteh.

"Why risk life and limb when you can tread the clouds themselves in safety?" Raven climbed onto his billowing silk bridge once more and darted nimbly across, pulling the sleeves back in when he stood beside Francis, who appeared ready to challenge Omio to a bout of fisticuffs.
"That will do, Francis." Raven dismissed his bodyguard. "I can take it from here." The attractive, fair, but dark-eyed and dark-headed man sidled towards them. "What have we been up to since our last visit? If such treachery and traps are needed, what can my friend Omio be hiding?" Raven paused to gaze intently at Omio, a sudden smile spreading across his fair face, "Besides his affection?
"And what is this 'Claymore' material of which you spoke? You said you had mines for them."

He noticed Francis take a rather angeres disposition to him, and took no offense. It was only natural. Then Raven began to talk.
"I'm not precisely hiding, but more of protecting in the meantime of ruckus. Lyndi was scared by someone or something within town, and I haven't bothered to hear her out on that, or else I would be feeding you more info. Nonetheless, other than that, I have nothing more to spea-- save for the Claymores. They are explosives that use clay as a base, and those explosives will unleash a flurry of metal hail, which would perforate you. The metal hail would trigger the thin wire, too - causing the forest to be set ablaze." All he could hope that the truth shone through. "I'm sorry to have confused you about that. Anyhow, I believe Lyndi owes me an explanation, unless you can explain what happened, since Lyndi seems to know you, somewhat."
((@___@ I hate having to add, and add, and add, and you get the idea...))

Raven regarded Omio carefully, then focused his investigating eye on Lyndi, then back again, without turning his head and mussing his glorious dark locks.
"The first time I laid eyes upon this girl was in that city, while Gossrir was being attacked. We had a brief discussion moments later, and I thought I saved her life, though she vanished like a harlot with the first morning's light, albeit I had my money intact. Come to think of it, how did you escape from the archers so quickly, my beauty? When I turned to see if you were still behind me, I watched a hawk take wing toward the forest."
Raven's eyes sparkled with internal computations. He studied Lyndi intensely, his bottom eyelids squinting slightly. With his sudden revelation, his eyes shot open and his head bowed. "If I had known I was in the presence of a Shifter, I would have been more polite. My dear, of all the Valearians, your kind has suffered the worst slavery had to offer. Please, accept my humble apologies. I plead ignorance in relation to my crimes of rudeness." He placed his fist across his chest and over his heart, keeping his head bowed toward Lyndi, waiting for her forgiveness.

He had to cut in before Lyndi would start. "You needn't worry about being rude, especially when ignorance is tied with it. Nonetheless, her escape was eased by her ability, and my skills with camoflage. "A hawk towards the forest?" That was definately her. The guard you asked me about easlier was me, but only out of self-defense. The pieces of this giant puzzle are coming together, and rather quickly, too. I'm missing a few pieces though. This 'Gossrir' whom you speak of... Who is he? He already sounds like a greedy fool." There's too much I left myself blind on, and it's about time I decided to update myself on the times so that I can decide more with ease. "Uh, actually, before you answer me, I think Lyndi has yet to answer to your request for forgiveness, though I think it will be granted."

"Well yes I forgive you, but not because of what I am. You shouldn't be so rude to people regaurdless of their background. Anyway, you are forgiven. Omio, Gossrir is a man who is in charge of slavery back in town. Raven was trying to kill him to free the slaves, if i am not misstaken. And I so rudely interupted his schedule." She said in response to what was going on.
"Raven I have one request of you, that you do not share what I am with others. As you know it would put me in danger of slavery." She asked him softly. She didn't like people knowing her secret. She felt a little uncomfortable with everyone addressing her and looking at her. She felt like a deer caught in the light, frozen, everybody watching and unable to escape. Not that she needed to escape but she still had that odd feeling.

Omio was listening to more grief from the wind. He could only make out "I..umi.." now. It was time for Omio's traditional cut. "Raven wouldn't speak of you anyways, if I remember him right. Anyways, the name of Gossrir did reek of greed, like I thought... leading slavery like that." His right hand clenched at the idea of snotty bureaucrats bossing those who should be superior to them. His anger was coming once again, but he knew this. He could easily keep a lid on it, but it grew more and more. The wind spoke more, a little clearer. "In...oming"
"Raven, do you have any slavery projects to ruin? I'm feeling my anger grow once again, and if it gets too far, I fear for those around me. So, I need to find a way to relieve my anger by dealing with what I'm angered at." His right hand was still tight. Were it not for a glove, the knuckles being white would be visible, and the hand actually looking bonier than it should. A vein on the side of his head was beginning to bulge out a little. People were on their way here, and most of them weren't anywhere close to friendly. The wind spoke one again, clear as a bell. "Incoming." "And now I have the feeling that those whom wish us harm are on their way." I can't possibly bother to being them all into the fort area without igniting the forest, or risking such. Why not ignite the forest by setting off the trap with a rock, and runn through the now-made safe route that leads north... "I have an idea. You can call me a nutcase later. The wind is ominus, and I have the feeling people are on their way in, by somewhat large numbers. In order to leave this place without as much as a scratch, we'll either have to rely on Lyndi to morph into a dragon, which would be too much attention that we'd gain, or we could set off my claymore trap zone, with us about 3 yards away, and then run through the flame-safe trail that I made, in case of something close to this, but nonetheless, the trail I made that heads north. We can take that trail north, at a somewhat fast pace, if you can run for about 2 miles, and we are out of the flame radius then. Whoever's after us is within a mile now, it feels like, so they'll panic and run all the wrong ways, eventually getting trapped by an inferno, and burning to death. After we get out of the fire radius, we can relax for a few moments, speak once again about the previous matters, and we should head back into town. There's more to this than meets my eyes." Much more. Even if Gossrir is dead, I still have anger to take out. There's more than bound to be more slavery projects that have to be ended brutally. I have to vent, and this is it.
"Unless you wish to--" 'B-DDDDNNNG' - an arrow missed Omio's left shoulder, and hit a tree. "Thought so. Get out of here! I'll try to get the core of all this dealt with" He then walked, took positions, considered POVs, and in most eyes, he vanished. those who were allied may or may not see him. Before he left, he used a scent potion on himself, and tossed a few random ones, hiding his scent now. his opponents were hiding, and ready for almost exactly this.
((Kinda awkward, but I needed to try and steer things back to town. I'm STILL adding more.))

"Francis, Lyndi, get close to me!" Raven ordered, his face becoming authoritative. He touched a sleeve to the two's clothes and instantly all three were perfect mirrors of the forest, blending seamlessly into their surroundings. Now they needed to tread quietly.
Raven crept forward, tiptoeing along the path. His kimono continued blending in the forest, ever-shifting and ever-deceiving to enemy eyes. His sharp eyes probed through the forest shades, trying to discern a presence. He saw Francis' outline as his servant nodded knowingly at him. Raven, Francis, and Lyndi, too, were able to see a silhouette against the forest background, see the others wearing part of the Kimono of Flowing Fabric. Where Omio was, however, Raven and Francis had no clue.

Omio was out deep in the forest, listening for even breathing. He found an archer, albehe not the one that shot. He emerged begind the archer, grabbed him into a choke hold, and moved his body, twisting, and hearing a rather unhealthy, but satisfying "Crunch, POP" from that archer's neck. He dropped the now dead body and moved on, still tossing the scent potions. He was going to run out of them soon if he went to more and more new areas. It would be best to retrace. Raven, I hope you know to focus on getting out of here undetected. Lyndi, hold to hope, and don't die before I do.

Raven's pace was too slow. Lyndi knew he wanted to be stealthy but if Omio really was going to set off the trap they were going to need to get out of there faster.
"Follow me and fast. Raven use your Kimono as a sheild. Protect yourself and Francis. I'm shifting into a panther." Lyndi said quietly. She pulled away from Raven's kimono and was perfectly visable again.
An arrow flew by her head. She jumped into the air and morphed into a panther. Lyndi charged at the archer who had just shot at her. He screamed for help. Lyndi grabbed ahold of his bow and shreaded it. She growled at him but couldn't kill the man. Violence just wasn't her thing.
"Get the panther!! She's a Shape shifter!" The man screamed.
Lyndi starred at him horrified. She turned and fled as fast as she could down the path and prayed Raven and Francis could follow and would be ok. She could see the arrows shooting past her. It was a miricle she hadn't been hit.
There is was, Lyndi thought too soon. The pain was sharp and so incredible. It was like jummping into a perfectly frozen over pond, into the sharp Icy water. Lyndi let out a roar as an arrow pierced her side. She wanted to stop and pull it out, but if she stopped they'd surly kill her or worse take her captive.
She continued down the path until she was out of range of the archers and well safe. She got out past Omio's radius, she was sure of it. Lyndi found a safe place to hide, an area that was thick with bushes and trees. she cleared a small space so she could lay down. She grabbed a hold of the arrow and pulled it out of her side. She shifted back into her elven form and muffled her scream, which quickly turned to tears.
She ripped part of her shirt and used it to press against her wound to stop the bleeding. She was definatly going to live. But she would have a nasty scar and be living with the pain for quiet some time.
