Has anybody heard of this author? If not, he is best known for his series on a drow named Drizzt Do'Urden, born to a drow city Menzoberranzan, where sunlight does not shine.
I'm only 40 pages in, but I can tell this is going to be a great series. I think there are 14 or so books on Drizzt, so he must have many adventures.

I have heard of it, but never had the chance to read it. I am one of those people that get too comfortable with a couple of authors...why add more until I have exhausted mine?

I don't have a wide array of authors either. So far, it's been J.K.R., R.A.S., Cristopher Paolini, and Phillip Pullman. Once I get through all of R.A.'s books (in about 10-20 years), I'll expand my collection.

I adore R A Salvatore i have almost all his books to date. I also adore the works of Margret Weiss and Tracy Hickman.
