Tamasha Village was as busy as ever today. No one had enough time to take notice on how beautiful the sky was, nor how clean the air smelled. Ograth the stone giant sat on a nearby hill. Watching the activities of the village, this was the first village he has ever seen before. He watched as how some wore elegant clothing and purchased many things, while others wore close to nothing and attempted to steal for survival. He rubbed his face and fell back "Mortals.. they is so strange.. so hard to understand.. why they fight natures wishes..." Ograth grumbled.
The day went by slowly for Ograth. The same question pops into his mind "why.. am I here... and where do I find out?" Ograth's line of thought was immediately cut off by the fluttering of a butterfly. He jumped up and watched it fly about and he followed its every move. Eventually the butterfly landed on the outer wall of Tamasha village..
Ograth stared at the wall and placed his hand on it. He spoke to the stones of which the wall was crafted from. They told him many stories of which they had heard from the citizens. "interesting..." Ograth said. not noticing the half dozen guards surrounding him.
"Steer clear beast! this place is not for the likes of monsters!" one said as he jabbed his spear at Ograth. The spear struck hard granite, and shattered. The guard fell back, "KILL IT!" he boomed
Soon enough the other guards began stabbing at Ograth. After a few more stabs, It came to Ograth's mind that mabey these men want to play. He grabbed one of the spears and lifted it up. The guard on th other end refused to let go of his weapon and began screaming for help.
Ograth braught the frightened man closer to him "I like this game!" Ograth boomed as he tossed him into another guard. The guards called in more help. and they quickly surrounded the stone giant.
Ograth turned to face the middle flank. he clapped his hands in enjoyment and jumped a bit. "you... want to play too?" He said as he reached out to grab the closest guard.

Riki was just leaving the village after spending several days...maybe even a week, she really wasn't sure...in an inn there. She had left Orion back at the inn and wasn't sure if he was going to follow her or not. After all, he should learn his own way, too. And she had no idea if Brant was going to continue following her. He had continuously shown up around her, asking questions and apologizing for some his more rude inquiries. She admired his willingness to learn, yes, but he also needed to learn how to better behave around others.
As she was leaving, she heard shouts and cries for help. She turned toward the ruckus and was...well...shocked, to say the least. There was a stone giant tossing guards around and laughing. It was almost like he was...
"You..want to play, too?" the giant asked a small flank of soldiers. He was playing? She got the impression he had no idea that these guards had another word for his behavior: an attack. She wasn't sure what to do, seeing as the giant didn't exactly need help or protection. The guards were certainly getting beat up, but she didn't exactly agree with their attacking him in the first place.
She needed to think about her actions, though. She didn't want to get hurt, too. But she wasn't sure how much longer those guys could hold out before they called in something more damaging. Maybe a distraction? She ran into the not-so-organized battlements and moved swiftly around them to climb up on the giant's back. She used the patches of moss to pull herself upward onto his head. Without much thought, Riki bent forward, placing her face in front of his, and then said happily, "Peek a boo!" She had the idea that he was young, so perhaps that would help entertain him.

Ograth was enjoying this game, little did he know how much damage he was dealing to the people. The game was all he could think about, and if something didn't happen soon. Some one is going to get hurt. Ograth ignored Riki when she climbed onto his back. it was only when she popped up yelling "Peek a boo!" did it catch his attention. Ograth screamed with surprise and began laughing childishly, while scared at the same time.
He sat down and placed Riki down in front of him. Ograth completely ignored the guards and clapped his hands gently. Ograth smiled and clapped some more. "again again!" Ograth said with a giggle. The expression in his face matches that of a small child expecting something surprising to happen.
The guards took this time to gather the injured and high tail it into the village. They never let their eyes off Ograth as they proceeded past the gate. "hes your problem now!" one of the guards yelled as they closed the gate on Ograth and Riki.
Ograth's Black jade eyes shifted to blue as he fixated on his new playmate.
(Ograths eyes act like mood stones. Black is normal, Blue is happy, Green is scared, Red is angry, and white resembles sadness.)

Again? She wondered how long this would hold his attention as she covered her face and pulled her hands back again with another "peek a boo!" It felt silly and awkward. She had no experience with children and only knew this game from watching mothers with their children. When the giant's eyes shifted color, she could only hope it was a good thing.
The guards had gathered themselves together pretty quickly and gotten out of there as fast as they could once she had distracted the giant. At least they wouldn't try to hurt him now. She heard one of them shout "he's your problem, now!" over his shoulder as the guards closed the gate to the village. She doubted they would be letting anyone out until the giant was gone.
She continued playing "Peek a boo" at the giant's request, and was glad that he seemed to be enjoying it. Perhaps the blue eyes meant he was happy? Or playful? Or something like that. She waited patiently for more requests for the game, ready to do what needed to be done to keep him in a harmless state. It wasn't like she had anywhere to go, so...why not?

Ograths giggles filled the air. Each time Riki would peek a boo, it would make Ograth even more happy. The game lasted for more then an hour, and Ograth knew it couldnt last for ever. He stopped his giggling and smiled gently "thankyou for playing with me, my name is Ograth, whats yours?" he reached behind him and pulled off one of the lilies growing on his back, he gently removed it and placed it in front of Riki.
( The flowers that grow on stone giants range in variety and color. but all have the same meaning. If a giant removes one of their precious flowers and gives it to someone. this is a sign of loyalty and friendship )
Ograth pointed at the flower "this is how my kind asks to be friends. this lily will live as long as i do, and now it is yours " he said gently.
The guards and town folk poke there heads over the wall to see if Ograth had eaten Riki yet. "do you see anything? has the beast killed her?" one of the guards in the back whispered. One of the villagers slapped him and said "its only a young giant. He means us no harm you fool." The doors of the gate open and one guard steps out nervously "your welcome to stay giant. but you best behave!"
Ograth smiles politely to the guard and turns back to Riki,

((hehe.....sorry for my utter lack of...presence. I've been sososo busy! >.< Anyway....this is open again! Hurrahhhh!))
Riki looked at the flower Ograth held before her and smiled up at him. She had little experience with Giants, but this seemed to be a special act of kindness. She took the flower and held it in her hand, still looking up at Ograth. "Thank you," she said. "I'll cherish this always. My name is Riki."
The guards peered over the wall of the town out at them, wondering if everything was safe and whether or not she had been killed. One woman chastised them for such thoughts and pointed out that the giant was still very young. The guards then welcomed Ograth, but with warning that he must behave. Riki wasn't particularly thrilled with how the guards were so quick to have a change of heart, but at least it was for the better.
