Orion was on his own today. He had gotten used to Riki being around; She was becoming something of a mother to the fourteen-year-old, and he was debating just not going outside today. The amount of people in the village still frightened him, and, though he had taken a long time to rationalize things, he just couldn't get over the feeling that everyone was out to get him.

On top of that, it was cold. No one else seemed to think so, but Orion had wandered out of the desert almost a week ago. The memories that he was able to dig up led him to believe that he had actually lived there. The sun in this village was so cold compared to the desert.

Finally, he convinced himself to go out. It still didn't seem like a safe thing to do, but his frustration at not understanding why made the action less frightening. Orion walked through the streets, doing his best to not draw attention to himself. The wings that protruded from his head were pulled in close. If no one looked at him closely, maybe they wouldn't notice them. Wings didn't seem like a common thing around here.

He walked with his head down, watching the ground. His shoulders were shrugged up around his neck, pushing his scarf closer against his skin. He looked almost like he were trying to disappear

Wompy jauntily strolled through the town, he felt like he was the big man or lizard as it were. He was strutting down Tamasha Village when suddenly he ran into something.

seeing that he had run into a small hunched over boy. Wompy knows that he is not an easy creature to miss(being 6'2 and looking like a huge bipedal crocodile). Feeling angry at the little boy he picks up him up by the neck and roars in his face then yells "watch wear your going."THen waits for the boy's response

Dagara Trannyth sat down on a bench placed on the side of the busy road contemplated her next move as she watched the crowed. Her last lead had ended in ruins and wasn't expected for any more to come soon. She absently check her coin purse and notice that it was running particularly low this day. She would have to find a temporary occupation soon. Usually in cases such as these she was offer up her skills as a warrior to any random person who happen to need a strong arm and had coin to spare. Dagara was an Adar after all, a race of humanoid birds who originate in Ularian Ridge. She stood roughly seven feet tall and was covered from head to toe in feathers (white and her chest and stomach brown every were else). It was at this moment that she was pulled from her private thoughts by the scene a few feet in front of her. A small scared looking boy seemed to have run into a large lizard like man. The lizard man seamed angered by this for some unknown reason. Dagara stood from her seat and moved closer ready to lend the small boy a helping hand should he need an ally........

The boy having not given a reply yet to his question made Wompy even madder. So he took the boy and threw him into a near by fuit stand then jumped on top of the wood counter of the store and then asked the boy"why were you in my way. then noticing a tall bird thing standing and watching him deal with the boy.

seeing that the bid woman seemed to want to rush in and help the boy Wompy drew his large mace and shouted "What are you looking at bird, go fly away south."

As dagara moved closer she noticed that the lizard man seamed to carry himself as a warrior as well. She was completely appaled when she witnessed, the lizard man grabbed the small boy and toss him into a fruit stand them leap upon a wooden table top. Dagara then saw that the lizard man had finally noticed her and brought his mace to bare and even threatened her. She was not angerd by this though, quite the opposite actually...she was amused. She was a little taller and broader then then the scaly man but she surmised that he was just as strong as her. But she also surmised that he would last in a fight that went on longer then ten minutes.Dagara on the other hand could fight for hours. Dagara crossed her arms and smiled.
"You tell me. I seam to be looking at a very rude overgrown crocodile"

Wompy hearing the insult that the bird woman gave him Wompy grew even more angered but before he decided to say anything a small slithering voice spoke in his head. "Wait think thisss through you know she is probably a decent warrior or else she wouldn't have challenged you, but she thinks you just another mindless thug play this to your advantage."

Having the voice calm him down Wompy began to think thats he knew he could beat her but he wanted to be sure so he thought up a plan that would ensure victory. Step one anger the bird woman.

Wompy yelled to her come on you over grown turkey bring it on

Orion cried out sharply as he crashed into the stand. He quieted himself, pressing his lips together and trying very hard to make sense of what had just happened. There was a throbbing pain from... somewhere. He was too disoriented to figure out which way was up, let alone what was damaged.

Alright... the big guy... he ran into him? Then what... He was in the air. Something was shouted at him. He hadn't thought quick enough to understand and answer. Then... then he was thrown through the air into this (what ever "this" was). And... there was someone else. They were fighting?

Orion shifted slightly to see what- "Aah-!" He closed his eyes tightly when a sharp pain pierced through his left wing, and tears rolled down his cheeks. He held his breath, his chest jumping as he tried not to cry.

Don't draw attention. Don't draw attention. Don't draw attention...

((woo, sorry ^-^ I was away for the week... not that Orion would have done much but cower and not speak anyway... my point though. Sorry.))

Dagara just stood there as the lizard man yalled insult after insult with her. She had learned long ago to never let your emotions effect your battle and quickly gained control over her riseing anger. "Ok scaly if you really wanna fight that much i geuss i can entertain you for a while". Dagara drew her falchion in her left hand and stood in her customery fighting stance hopeing the lizard man couldnt resisit to charge her.....

wompy saw That his insult had no effect on the woman so he decided to charge the bird woman. instead of blindly charging forward wompy used his tail to draw a knife out and flick it forward at the bird then he charged forward

Dagara saw he took the bait but was taken by su prise by th flow dagger and barly had time to dodge it haveing it slicing accross her right shoulder. After the dodging the missile sh ducked and dodge her opponents attacks not even trying to counter the blows. Just letting the battle draw out and hopeing she wouldnt have to kill the aggresive lizard. Dagara glanced over at the small boy to make suer he was ok. She saw that he trying to be as small as possible. Dagara brought her attantion back to the fight when she had almost miscalculated were one of the lizard mans would land and was almost hit.

Wompy saw that the bird woman was not even trying to fight and that she was not even blocking. He was disappointed on how the battle was going so he growled out. Why dint you try to fight me, I'm getting bored at least deal me one blow

"OK" said Dagara right befor she smacked the lizard man in the face with her buckler. She didnt hit hard enough to brak anything just to know the oaf down. "happy?" asked Dagara befor moveing over to the small boy, while keeping an eye on the lizard to make sure she wouldnt be surprised

Orion gasped quietly when he heard one of them approach him. He didn't open his eyes, but he flinched against the idea of what was about to happen to him. He tried not to whimper at the throbbing pain in his wing.

He was terrified. He couldn't stop trembling. And what was worse, every movement shot a fresh spike of pain through him. He would have moved to inspect the damage -- except that he was sure he was going to be killed... and he was sure that his wing was bent at some unnatural angle... and it hurt!

Oh... Oh, he wanted Riki. Where was she? Why had he left the room? He should have just stayed inside. He should just stay inside forever and never come out again!

the buckler caught Wompy right in the chest causing the wind to escape from his chest. Dang she hits hard Wompy thought, she could make a good ally or at least a good pawn. Thinking this Wompy stood up putting his maces away and putting his hands into his trench coat like coat(PS can i have a trench coat, not sure if that was allowed in this time period) and sauntered over to them putting out a hand to the boy to help the boy up saying sorry i got a little carried away sometimes the lizard in me gets that way

Orion couldn't bring himself to speak. He opened his eyes slightly, looking at Wompy through his tears. He glanced at the hand extended toward him; torn between accepting to avoid further abuse and wanting to remain completely still.

A fresh wave of tears rolled down his cheeks, and he stifled a sob. He didn't know what to do. He just wanted Riki to come find him. She would make everything better.
