Full Name: Athieronius (Athier for short)
Age: 34
Race: Human
Physical Description: Athier is a rather well-built man, sitting at a height of around six foot three. Upon his broad shoulders rests a worn leather cloak, clasped round his next with a rusted buckle. He normally wears a cloak over the top of a hooded jacket, and with rugged patchy leather pants. He also wears a metal chain vest and iron pauldrons (albeit rather small ones) under the jacket. He wears leather boots that have thin metal plates on them, for an added bit of protection and also as a weapon in combat.
If you looked at his face, you would see an extremely weary and tired man, lines crease his forehead and bags shadow his eyes. His eyes, which were once a vibrant green have become greyish, emotionless eyes. This man has seen many things in his life, that he certainly wishes to never see again. His brown hair has begun to discolour, and it falls down to just above his shoulders.
Personality: Athier is a man who has seen things. He has seen brave men die, children murdered and entire cities purged and slaughtered by his own hand. His wife and child were killed by his wifes former lover, and his betrayed him and kicked him out onto the streets. His experiences have made him a cold-hearted former-soldier, who feels like the world has left him alone in the wild. He is hard to approach, and he only ever loosens up when he gets drunk at a tavern or pub. Even then he's an extremely sullen person.
History:
Nothing interesting happened during Athiers childhood, but when he was in his mid-twenties he joined the army. Within a few years, due to many courageous battles, he was awarded the title of Captain for the Royal Guard. During this extremely happy and joyful time, his wife and child were brutally murdered at the hands on his wife's former lover. It was supposed 'payback.' Athier was given the pleasure of dealing with the murderer. Nobody knows how the body came to be in the mess is finally rested in, but many people began to respect Athier out of fear. After a few years Athier began to doubt his position of power. The was sending him to eradicate entire villages and cities. Athier asked why, yet all the said was "They are bad people, and have done bad things to this country." When Atheir questioned his 's motives, he was removed from the Royal Guard and kicked out onto the street. All he was left with was his sword, his armour and the clothes on his back. Plus a little 'gift' from the , and small sum of 5 coins. Barely anything compared to what the Royal Guard were paid.
Since that day, five years ago, Athier has been wandering. A nomad, hoping to find work. Occasionally he has been used as a mercenary, but all he wants to do is find someplace to die. Death would not come soon enough.
