It was late, the tavern almost empty. Some guest had moved upstairs, some trubblemakers had been thrown out to the gutters , some haft left by their own, a drunken man had fallen asleep on his table...
Some wenches turned in the night and went to bed, the stableboys were just about to put out the laterns ... One of the wenches, one of the younger ones, was half-asleep, half-awake, hanging over the counter, trying to keep here eyes open. She was one of a kind beauty; the stableboys did everything to steal a kiss from her. She was a simple woman, dreaming of romantic adventures - but her life was boring. And she found comfort in hearing others stories.
Anira was dressed in a green linnen dress, a Moy Bog garment. A simple dress. Also she dressed herself in a bodice that flattered her figure. Her underdress was uncolored linnen.
When the door flung up, she was brutaly aroused and flew to her feet, blinking of supprised at the stranger walking towards the counter. Outside some stableboys were struggling with a firely steed.
- God Evening, Sire... What can I do for you?

Ianus hurriedly approached the door to the non-descript tavern. He had to get of the streets and quickly. 'How could the job have gone so wrong', he asked himself. The target had been asleep; he was sure the target was asleep as he stealthily approached the bedside. Replaying the approach over again he was sure he had made no mistakes. 'No-one can move that fast.' he muttered to himself as he reached the door.
Throwing the door open in his haste to get of the streets he disturbed the serving wench who looked like she had been sleeping at the bar. Quickly surveying the inside of the tavern he was confident that all was well. 'Then again,' he thought wryly, 'all was well 20 minutes ago as well.' Forcing himself to slow down, think and act as he had trained himself these long years he took a more measured look at the tavern. As he was doing this he was disturbed by the serving wench asking 'What can I do for you?'
'Pour me some wine.' he demanded a little to harshly. 'I've got to calm down and think this through,' he thought to himself. To make amends for his rudeness he made a gentlemanly thankyou, and left a sizable tip with the girl who had poured the wine. Finding himself a table in a corner where he could see the whole tavern he sat down to sip and steady his nerves. Something was pricking his interest, insisting that something wasn't quite right here. Looking around for a third time, taking his time, he finally spotted what was so obvious he nearly missed it. What colouring he had, drained from his face as the sheer horror of it struck him. The girl behind the bar must have been watching him and turned her gaze to match his. He became conscious of her screams.

Anira Morela
- of course, mister.
She answered him with her sweet voice. She turned her back on him, grabed a goblet on one of the shelf in under the counter. Then she went down the to the winecellar and grabed a bottle and went up again. She did her part of the job, got the wine, polished the silvercup and then poured the wine. And yes. she served him as well. A thank you, that was all she got. And some coins. Would this night never end?
There was nothing special with that man, his face would be forgotten tomorrow, a blur among many others. Neither ugly or handsom, just a normal face. But after watching him, his cheek lost their redness, and when Abigail started yelling.
"What is that man doing here?! Get him out! You kind ain't welcome here!!"
Anira blinked suprised. But grabs her angry friend by her arm, trying to stop her going after the man with the broom. Anira put her mouth close to Abigail's ear, Anira felt her lips tremble of excitement. Finaly, something happened arroung here!
- Whats wrong, Abby? S.s.stop it...! Anira whispered to her friend.
"He stole my ring!! I swear. it was that man!" Abigail didn't stop yelling or anything...
